  • front thruster back quietly getting at hard braking

hi at the mini cooper S the rear is quite restless at high speed braking. with a KW 2 and a big brembo front this peculiarity has been attenuated a little bit but not gone. Knackpunkt is also the unfavourable weight distribution with 2/3 front and 1/3 back… I was at the suspension specifically telling me that these crates have this peculiarity and you just have to live with it. the statement doesn’t necessarily satisfy me because I have heard the supposedly cooper aroundfa are those who supposedly got rid of this peculiarity completely – partly with another brake force distribution between front and rear or with an anti roll kit (larger stabis). Funnyly, the problem occurs most strongly in fast (over 180) driven autobahn curves when one pulls out and you have to be fully in the iron. is there still a slight floor wave becomes really funny. funnyly, the little one makes this at the downhill passage after the swedenkreuz on the aremberg kurv e not at all even though you have to get in full and there are also waves without end. under train there are zero probs and the little one then goes around the corner like nothing. also arupt gas removal in the middle of the curve doesn’t impress him at all and he doesn’t even get restless – I’m baffled. any tips? thank you in advance.

  • Hiiilfe!!! Expert Wanted!!

Hello! Got a huge problem: I picked up my 2 polo from the tuner (no field forest and meadows screwdriver Top Bude in the polo mountain sport) on Monday. Originally 75hp GK engine. The following modifications were made:45 double carburetor, new camshaft, new towing levers and springs.new ECU,controller with MK Gr.N system. On the way home I noticed a huge oil loss only assumed the petrol pump oilt so installed new petrol pump. Oil loss was still there. then with the tuner phone conversation held and then changed the sieve from the crankshaft ventilation on the engine block. no success. The oil expresses from the pipe from the track rod. If I leave the oil filler cover open and leave about 2-3 minutes in idle mode everything is OK after that the camshaft before oil is no longer visible, lid on top 1Minute running it starts from the front and when open screwing it hisses from the overpressure. maybe someone knows a solution???

  • Stronger brake system – nonsense!?

Hello everyone! I thought a lot about installing a stronger braking system in my vehicle (manufacturer and model I would like to let go of) for the first time. My car is tuned and, according to the test bench, has to the 250 hp and weighs about 1500kg. Rims and tyres is 225/40 18. A tighter suspension (Koni, KAW) was installed and lowered about 50mm. Vmax. according to Tacho around 260…. So, I know myself quite well in the technical area of a car… but still have spez I’m looking for examples and technical information on the Internet (since tuning specialist books don’t really cover what I’m trying to get) and the yield was actually quite productive, but unfortunately I didn’t get any further. That’s why I’m going to turn to you and hope for appropriate competence! Now on the actual topic: Does a larger brake system (larger brake discs + 4 or 6 piston brake calipers) really work on the braking path? And why? If you could only use other brake pads with a higher friction value to shorten the braking distance? Explanation desirable. What does this look like in connection: Brake vs. Tyres Is it more useful to use other tyres instead of other (better) brakes – should mean: could other tyres be more effective than a modified braking system?? On some sides, this was claimed. Your car does not brake through the brakes, but only through the tires! There is then also, a larger brake system. After completion is for me, that the braking effect must be transferred to the tires and the tires have to implement this by appropriate Hafrektrieb. But, what is important now essentially? Greeting to all Bullit

  • New in the Motorsportforum and Fiesta ST Cup

Hello, I think this is my first contribution to the motor-talk motorsport forum. What connects me to motorsport? I grew up in Wittgenborn – and thus almost inevitably on the Kartbahn. I started with youth kartslalom at the age of eight, then after 6 years I went on the round track in the kart and now I actually took a good 6 years break. That was the time of the Abitur, driving license, training and such things. I would like to hear your experiences and opinions. Does anyone know more about the Cup? What would be alternative series? Of course, the topic of sponsors is also in focus. Has anyone already had experience with the search for sponsors? What did they look like? I thank you for your information. Greetings Christian

  • Private and cost-effective racing in NRW?

Hi all, I am, as you can see, new here. Nevertheless, I hope to get some information, hints or other from you. I myself have been driving karts for several years. I have now become 39 and quite fat (115 kg). As a result I no longer fit into the seat (no joke). Since I am anyway, one of the worst kart drivers, I have always wondered if there are still inexpensive racing series. My idea is, e.g. old cars like a golf, polo etc. normal tires (sewer heating equipment in the interior is clear, like fire extinguishers, roll cage etc.) Alone the tires for the kart cost already the quantities, approx. 200 Euro. They hold then also approx. 2-4 hours pure driving time. Then you are scrap. Thus the question(s), there in the room NRW such events (no cross !), how expensive is the participation, which conditions are to be met, possibly contact with you possible to talk your experiences by PN or mail? Any Li nks or dates available? etc. I just want to participate to have fun with it. What would I give for it, to run once on the Nürburgring. It is important that it can really be afforded by any “normal mortal” too. For info tips etc. I would be very grateful to you. Gruss Wally

  • Ideal racing engine: 8V vs. 16V

Which type of engine is better suited for use in golf 2 (mainly slalom)? 8V or 16V Although a 16V has more power as standard, an 8V should be able to turn up faster. How about the tuning possibilities? So what is possible and what does it cost? I heard that 16V tuning is too expensive and difficult… To the rear end: Have a 16V motor (MKB PL) including various tuning works. But don’t know if this is the ideal basis for a slalom motor, since f always when it comes to racing (whether slalom or circuit) only praises 8V engines… Thx P.S. I’m talking only about suction engines!

  • Entry into motorsport in Austria

Hallowechen (: Since this is my first thread, I would like to introduce myself at first. My name is Sabrina, am in a week 19, come from the Obersteiermark and currently work until mid-September as an apprentice at the regional court and hope to be taken there after my final exam. I have been riding since I am 6 years old, have had a horse for 2 years and drive a Ford Puma with 90 HP since August of last year. I am also interested in kleichen. I have inherited her talent for driving cars. +gg+ Of course, I’ve already made a little bit of sense on the Internet and would like to ask the experts among you here (: Now my questions: What do I need, except for my helmet, driver’s license and car? With which tires it’s best to drive? I’m not interested in driving a car, I’m not interested in driving a car, I’m not interested in driving a car. Is this enough for the time being or is it better to be a coilover suspension? If so, which one? Who knows MSC’s in my surroundings (as above: come from the Obersteiermark)? And above all: do my 90 hp at all? Did I see that cars like Lotus Elise and BMW Z4 ride along in the series car class?! Of course I “train” as often as I can, in the parking lot of a friend of my family and me and myself. Does it look pretty good up to now, but should I just dare the first start in the next season to see how I’m doing? Of course, I don’t want a win in my first attempt. I’m fully aware that I’m going to be in the last ranks for the time being. Would I be totally happy about your tips and reports about your experiences (: Dear Greetings, Sabrina)

  • NOS, NX, ZEX Salmon Gas Tuning Answers

Just a little explanation on the topic NOS, ZEX, NX salmon gas tuning, as I have noticed there are many rumors and statements on this topic. So then I want to hope that I can bring a little light into your combustion rooms. 1. probably the most common question that comes up again and again is probably the how harmful nitrous oxide is for the engine. to this I can only say that it was nitrous oxide is harmful for the engine, but which tuning is not ?? a combustion meter otor processes a running fuel mixture which is ignited in the combustion chamber. When the mixture is burned, a pressure is generated in the combustion chamber, this energy is transferred to the crankshaft and from there to the gearbox and so on… (don’t want to get bored) Whether by using a sharper camshaft, chiptuning, turbocharger or, or, the pressure in the combustion chamber is increased and thus also passed on to the crankshaft drive, it has a bes The reason for this is that many car manufacturers are always bringing out new models, but for cost reasons they are still maintaining their engines for generations, but with more and more power. 2. The thing with the TÜV can now be registered or not? Theoretically it is possible to register a functional nitrous oxide system. The vehicle must be coordinated with the nitrous oxide system d The system must be installed in such a way that the driver cannot be distracted when activated and the performance must be brought to the wheels in such a way that a vehicle driving stability is guaranteed, which is probably guaranteed by a full load switch and a progressive system. And now, however, the hacking of the thing… The TÜV would have to prepare a completely new report for the vehicle as for a new vehicle. 3. how much more power can I achieve now with a nitrous oxide system? That depends now on the displacement and the corresponding power, compression ratio. Large-volume engines, I say from two conductors displacement can be increased without problems up to 50 percent. With smaller engines the effort would not be worthwhile, b a performance increase of only twenty hp there are cheaper methods. But from a three litre vehicle it can push quite nicely in the back, with a performance increase of 120 hp. Everyone should consider buying such a system for themselves, one because he finds it cool the other because of the instant energy generation. I just think it’s just because I think it’s cool, otherwise I would probably screw a switchable compressor into my car. r another link which probably answers almost all questions in the area of nitrous oxide.NOS nitrous oxide INFO

  • Sports tires with road registration for strong front-wheelers wanted.

Hello, I need summer tires for my Golf 2 – 1.8T (TT), 260 HP at 900 kg (empty), front drive (G60 extended). I want to stay as far as possible at 15″ and not go wider than 205. Last summer I had bad experiences with the Dunlop SP Sport, but the winter tire is great!!! The problem with traction during acceleration is that the SP turned partly at 140 km/h in the 4th gear… I would like to bring the performance in the 2nd gear to the road, that would be great!!! A dealer has recommended with the shelf racer in 195/50/15… I don’t know… a 50€ tire??? Wear is almost irrelevant to me. Grip (dry and wet) he must have. Good curve handling, short braking distance! Does anyone have a tip? With someone I mean people who drive similarly strong front-wheelers or sports vehicles.
