  • Kaufberatung – Reliable quad with some power sought

Hey guys, I’m currently looking for a quad and I wanted to hear your opinions and experiences. I’m about to get one that has some power, but above all is extremely reliable. It’s also important to me that the maintenance is not too complicated or expensive. My budget is at a maximum of €3500-4000. Do you have any recommendations which models are good in this price range? Many talk about the Subaru engines what do you think about it? Maybe certain brands, from d should you rather leave your fingers? Thank you for your tips!

  • Quad/Atv kauf

Moin people I’ve been looking at ebay and Co for a long time now for a nice quad. Only unfortunately I have no idea about the brands so I wanted to ask what you have to consider or what your recommendation is. Search no “street quad” so none with the normal tires should already be cross-country with vlt rope wind, snow shield option and ahk. We have at our farm a small single-axle tractor which is really ok but I think with nem quad I would be better served for things like sc push the fan, drive small hangers and maybe also mulchen and Co+ keep you option normal to drive around with it. Had looked at me price-wise everything possible from 1000-10000 but as said there are really many brands where the only thing that would tell me Yamaha would be. Thanks already in advance

  • Main investigation after several years of service life

Good day together, I bought a quad in 2018 (used) with fresh HU. I drove it for about 1.5 years and since then it is registered in my barn. On the license plate is a seal with 07/2020. I would like to put it back into operation this year and have done a great service. (new chain, new brakes, new liquids, fresh oil, new battery; and of course once cleaned the carburetor. The quad itself runs absolutely smoothly and everything works. Can I ever have a good day together, I bought a quad (used) with fresh HU. or should I rather transport it on a trailer? Are especially high costs for the HU? MfG

  • Replace cooling water pipe for hose

Hi. Since I have not found / got a reply yet I try it here, because you know in this forum surely with the topic. It is not about a golf, but I had to specify something. I have been proud owner ines Adly MK-320 Mini Car, a buggy based on Quad. Unfortunately the coolant lines are strongly rusted. In order to make the vehicle ready for the MFK, I intended to derust these lines. Since the vehicle no longer produces The original cables are no longer available. In order to expand the cables, however, I have to disassemble the vehicle almost completely. I would have to disassemble the whole floor, the steering and the circuit, the operation of the differential lock and hand brake. Now I have considered whether I can replace the cables made of metal with flexible cables. How to replace brake cables with steel flex. Then I could simply cut out the old cables The vehicle has only 272 ccm, if the relevant one is. My question is: Is such a change possible, allowed, and if so, do I have to pay special attention to the flex line? Diameter of the pipes outside 16 mm, inside 13 mm. Length approx. 180 cm. The vehicle has neither air conditioning nor heating. I have searched for and found the following hoses. Outside, they have like the pipes 16mm, inside but only 10 mm. Is this a test Since the pipes are under the vehicle and are free, I would like to protect the hoses with a glass fibre cover when changing. What I am still wondering is whether the metal pipes may have an influence on the cooling performance and it could therefore be dangerous to replace them with hoses.

  • SMC Quad Rex 50cc – Quad does not start

Good day to everyone! I bought a SMC Quad Rex 50cc cheaply. But unfortunately it just doesn’t want to start. I’m new in this forum, so please tell me if anything is missing or so. SMC Quad Rex 50cc – blue spark that appears at regular intervals – spark plug is moist in my opinion, carburetor cleaned several times – does not start with brake cleaner as starting aid – E- start runs, as I also operate it on an external battery at the moment – Membrane is in my opinion ok, no light shines through – intake nozzles and similar have no cracks – fresh petrol and oil in it – Polrad sits on the foreseen wedge and Pick Up is firm Have tried to start very often, but it just doesn’t want to. Also, the whole engine makes a loud crack noise, but only sometimes. Have taken off the Variomatic cover once, and every time the clack noise comes the engine turns backwards I think (see in the attached I was thinking as a complete layman, if it could be that the ignition time is perhaps wrong, because the piston sometimes burns backwards while clapping, so too early (No idea if this is possible)? I just attached the pole wheel as a picture.. I hope someone can maybe do something with this???

  • Find Quad Error on Start

Good afternoon. I have a quad of the brand Kymco MXU 250. Currently I have the following problem , I start the quad – everything good Tacho goes on and drives up his system Now I pull brake and press the E starter – you hear a very quiet crack (or so) and everything goes out From this point on nothing goes. Tacho is off and even turn the ignition key and restart brings nothing anymore… No life sign on the tacho and also not by E starter. From this point I get only with When you try the quad with the cable pull, you can see that the speedometer is very short but it starts immediately again. Usually, the quad starts pulling after 3-4 times. When it starts I see from the clock that the current was completely gone or something. So the system is always on 00:00 . What can be? Battery is 12.9 volts. I have completely renewed ignition lock. Starter? But against that speaks that the current is completely gone. Maybe someone has an idea or solution away ? top. Yours sincerely

  • Air in the AEON Cobra 420 cooling system

Hi guys, I know there are many topics with cooling system to ventilate, but they don’t help me any more. I have the problem that I had to change the temperature sensor after switching to a new Koso Tacho. As a result, air came into my circulation. This led to the thermoswitch still not turning on the fan at over 90 degrees. I got the system vented via the drain screw on the water pump. Exactly at 93 degrees the fan always went on and the mo I was surprised to see why it only happened from 93 degrees. On the Internet, the cooler lid was advised to open and ventilate, but that caused a lot of fluid to swip out. When I turned off the engine afterwards, the cooler sucked the liquid out of the balance tank and emptied the container and then pulled in the air. Now the fan jumps down even to 88 degrees. I tried again to vent through the drain screw, but it does not lead to success. Feels at the thermoswitch this does not reach as high temperature as e.g. the drain screw. What makes me stubborn is that it only drips when the screw is opened, it doesn’t flow. According to forum entries it has to flow there always evenly. And can it be that the cooler is now not completely full and has air above that the circulation now has How should I proceed best? Stand up right now and I am grateful for every tip. And yes, I’m not a professional. I would like to have my quad done in a workshop, but everyone rejected it because I didn’t buy it from them. VG

  • Information about Adly 50 ATV / Quad

Hallows I bought an Adly 50 at ebay Classifieds, because I can’t drive a two-wheeler or a car due to a nervous disease (GBS). Footlifts are probably still paralyzed the rest of the year. The Quad was partially disassembled and I am currently building it up again. However, some questions arose: 1. Apparently the Quad has no speedometer, but according to papers it is indicated at 45 kmh. How can it be? 30 zone according to feeling? Kilometer level doesn’t matter? 2. The Quad doesn’t seem to be backwards This should not be legal, according to StVZO. 3. Does anyone have an idea where I can get technical information? 4. What about the spare parts supply? Can someone recommend certain online shops? I have attached a photo of the papers. I have already found and attached a part list. I am grateful for every information.

  • Sym Raider 600 Quad carburetor basic setting

Hi guys I recently saved a sym Raider 600. Unfortunately, it was disregarded by the previous owner and badly treated. I had the problem that the exhaust was defective. That’s why I changed the exhaust to a tuning de-sonic damper with ABE. Then it went out due to low speed. When setting the speed I got out the adjusting needle and I don’t remember how the setting was before it was. You’re black. Could someone tell me what the basic attitude of the carburetor would be? Or what I could do? Would be really grateful. Thank you very much.
