  • Summer tyres – Pirelli Cinturato P6

Dear forum community, since I will need new summer tires from spring on, maybe think of taking Pirelli P6 Cinturato because he was crowned winner in this year’s summer tire test. Has anyone had experience with the tire? Driving on dry and wet road, wear? According to the test, the tires on the wet road should be very good. Also in the tire test of 2008 (test 2008 ) the Pirelli tires were best. It seems that with a Pirelli summer tire nic hts can go wrong. Which brand you would recommend alternatively, I have a relatively good experience with Fulda. Since I have already experienced bad surprises twice on the wet road and summer tires (Sportiva), the behaviour on wet road is very important for me. My car is Ford Focus, BJ 2001 with 90 HP diesel engine and the tire size to buy is 195/60 R15. Thanks for their answers

  • Are there tyres (winter) that do not fit the vehicle?

I drive a T5 BJ 2006 2,5TDI ,174hp. The tyres I currently have on it (Pirelli Chrono 215/65/16) were at the purchase DOT (3707) so 37 KW 2007 that is all clear to me, only if I am on winter roads a single catastrophe spin through at the traffic lights, on straight snow covered road in 4th gear …..usw.But have the same tires on my company car a MB Sprinter (Heckswerfer) but there it is a top tire still gave me on every construction site Can it be that my tire on the T5 is just hard?

  • Which tire should become replacement tires Uralt vs. little profile and slight cracks

Hello together, just had serious discussions with my workshop with which I am otherwise very satisfied: I had had 4 new summer ice creams installed today and wanted to have my replacement tire which is 42 KW 1992 (no joke, my Toyoty Camry is BJ93, that is the original equipment) which has super profile and otherwise also “good” looks through the old summer tires 44KW 2004 2mm profile and slightly cracked in the grooves – not at the flanks – until today, because I dach In case of emergency it is better to use 8 years old tyres which were always used instead of 20 years old tyres which were never used to roll to the next workshop. My workshop then left me the first tyre so, because it has still so much profile and looks much better than the old summer tyres. “And profile is important” Only after I asked again on the internet for the age of tyres and got confirmed that 20 years really too much of the good I insisted on reassemblying the spare tire. it really cost me a lot of arguments and I stood there like an idiot of crazy things. Of course 8 years and 2mm profile is not optimal, but m.M. still much better than the 20 year old tire. Ideal would of course be a NEW spare tire, but who has so much money?a What do you think?

  • Rim advice (zorro.com)

Hi, can anyone tell me if the rims of this complete wheel are good?http://www.komplettraeder-zorro.com/…/ I don’t see clearly who the rim manufacturer is, zorro? (Alufelge Model Trina) I’ve been looking for rims that are relatively affordable and not too protty and they definitely fit the style…. Actually I wanted 17 inches wheels because I think that’s big enough. They are now 18 inches and I’m not quite sure how this size on a Gol f 5 Variant (2007) look…. Does anyone have similar 18″ rims on a golf and can I see some pictures? thx

  • Hole circle of the rim does not fit ABE?!?

Hello! Get out of the rims I have here unfortunately not really smart. I could read the following information: Manufacturer Titan Type: 93706 7Jx 16H2 Hole Circle 4x 110 I add another picture. As you can see, it has definitely four holes. Now I have been looking for an ABE for Titan rims with type 93 706 in the net. Unfortunately I could not find a KBA number on the rims. The same applies to the press-in depth. Of both I thought that it must be on the rim. According to ABE p Only at the hole circle is there 5×110. Do I now have the wrong ABE? Does anyone have an idea how to get further here? I have read so far all things from the rim. Be happy about any help!

  • Fittipaldi 17 ” Alu ́s strength certificate ???

Hello, I got cheap at Fittipaldi 8X 17 ” ET 30 Alu ́s! They should come to my Alfa 33 P4! They also do, but unfortunately there is no ABE for it (not even for my 33 ́s) The KBA should be 23025… Does anyone know where I get a strength certificate?? The company Fittipaldi unfortunately no longer exists! Best regards, Roman!

  • When are used tyres still considered new??

Hello dear Forumians, yes, the thread sounds hammered, but I have to ask you so. I recently bought tires with aluminium wheels as “new” at egay. I was keen on the Alu ́s, and since everything was titled as new, I didn ́t think about it any more. That the tires came from the year 03 didn ́t bother me any more. You should be new and 5 years go just as well. Now come on: I paid everything and a few days later I got the packages. Now I had to I find to my horror that the tires had already run. Front 6mm profile and rear 7mm. Also 2 of the Alu ́s had considerable curb damage. I then wrote to the seller and asked him what that was supposed to be. It was definitely all needed. And for that there were also some hints. All tires hit, all 4 Alu ́s with counterweight residues fersehen and all nicely labeled with VL, VR, HL and HR, 2 Alu ́s as I said, with curb damage…… The seller only said that a tire is considered new when it whites 6mm-8mm profile. Is there a complete humbug, right???? In the description it clearly says that the things have not yet run and now that. What can you do there? I am pissed off, because I didn’t want to buy any used scrap. Let’s see how it goes on, I keep you up-to-date. Who wants to see the link and stand by me…:-) Greeting and thank you A ndi

  • Summer socks for V70 wanted

Greetings. So, the ABE for my *King* Alus has found itself now, also thanks to help from here. Now it’s called…pick out socks, because soon it will change. Currently some P600, partly gone wrong. But I can still drag photos of their profile this evening. However, the attached ABE raises the following: 195/65R15 205/60R15 215/60R15 Now I am still a little unsure, do I still have to enter to the Tüv for the purpose or not? Because…, the ABE for my *King* Alus has found myself now, also thanks to help from here. I can even find this size in my tank cover as a text…, just not in these new cracked vehicle lights. However, my Volvo V70II from 2000 would like to be confident, safe, low-noise and wetcool moved. Please be really quiet around the socks and above all not slowing down. I definitely don’t want cheap tyres either, here quality is clearly preferred… but please do not lead to poverty. So, well, the question of the questions. .what’s it supposed to be? I used to rummage bisi and then end up with something like this here: …. sorry, I’m a little confused. Can I land in the middle at 55 or 65 if I have 205 or 215 in focus? You see, I need advice° As far as I can thank Tom

  • Store tyres

Servus people, I have a problem. I store my tires in the basement. Of course I want to store rims and the rubber most gently and then I thought I’d get a rim tree or something. The problem is, most rim trees have maximum tire width of 225. My summer tires are however 245 wide. What now? cu Floh
