I’m thinking if I should mount all-year tyres in the future. Drive a Mercedes A class , 13000 km per year and about 95% on a level road. I’m more of a driver. What advantages and disadvantages do such tyres have. (wear, fuel consumption, noise level, price etc.) What brand would you recommend me?

All-year tires don’t have a flake symbol, is that bad?
Hello all, I got on my Micra Pirelli all-year tire with the name “2500 Euro”. Unfortunately they only have the M+S sign and not this flake symbol. Can this in case of emergency cost the insurance cover, or give a penalty from the police? I already Googled, but I didn’t get really smart either. Thank you and greeting Primonan

New summer tire: Fulda Sportcontrol 2 or Falken FK 510 good and cheap alternative ??
Apparently, according to the current test of the car picture, the two manufacturers did everything – or much – right. I’m curious how the two tires prove themselves in everyday life.

Tired cracks, dialed or rather not?
Hi guys, almost bought me new tyres over Ebay. They look like that. But now I have noticed that a tire has slight cracks. What do you think is dangerous? If you had to drive 800km on Sunday, is that too dangerous? (Photo in appendix) Thank you in advance

19″ winter tyres for Audi S5
Hello people are just about to get me winter tyres for my S5. Stand before the decision, whether I buy 18 inch rims + tires, or whether I also make 19 inch rims on the original Audi 19 inch rims and then switch in the summer to 20 or 21 inch. I decided for the 19 inch variant and therefore look for a good winter tire with the following masses: 255/35 V19. In Switzerland you only need V, so up to 240km. Can someone recommend me a good tire N? Greetings

How do I determine the correct press-in depth?
Hello together, I would like to buy rims for my polo soon and would like to know how to calculate the right ET for the rims. As an exit situation I would like to use the rim size from the thread:. Wheel size: 7×17 Pressing depth: 46 If I want to mount a rim in the size 7.5×17 now, which ET would be necessary so that I don’t have to install distance discs? Statement from the above thread: Quote: Original written by Castro67 What do I nic now? if the rim widens and the ET moves outwards by 2mm, the spokes of the rim would have to stand outwards by a total of 0.25″-2mm or (seen from the middle)? Thus the spokes of the brake system are also outwards around this approx. 4mm. Where is my mistake of thought? Something I have not yet understood quite correctly.

Air valve sensor transmitter / or receiver at the VW Tiguan
Hello from Spain , As owner of a Tiguan Bj. 11/11 , I may ask you the following question in the hope of finding a (a) gifted (r) “Bloger” (in) who can explain it well. The car calculates in each wheel with compressed air sensor transmitter, and indeed on each air valve . This sensor “funks” up to the display in the cockpit but ….. my question is: Where is the radio receiver ? On the tire ?, On each axle ? Is it a piece or part which one can also expand , replace how the transmitter at the valve ? Could I get somewhere a picture, drawing, sketch of this part and its place in the car ? Thanks in advance , Spain
