Hi all, I’m just looking for new summer tires. So far I had Michelin Energy Saver on a Volvo V50. I drive quite comfortably, and rarely faster than 130. So far I have driven a lot of highway ( 25.-30,000!km /year ), that will change soon, and then it will only be about 800-10,000 km /year with about 70% AB. Tyre size is 195/65 R15 It matters to me: Low wear Low fuel consumption I now have these tires in view 1. Hankook Ve ntus Prime 2 K115 195/65 R15 91H – Consumption B, Rain B 2. Dunlop Sport BluResponse 195/65 R15 91H – Consumption B, Rain A 3. Michelin ENERGY SAVER + 195/65 R15 91H – Consumption C, Rain A The Michelins I now have on it in terms of durability ok. The question is if someone knows how to beat the Hankook or Dunlops against it. If both were relatively good in terms of wear, I would tend to Dunlop or Hankook. Thanks & Gruss E.

Hello all, I can ride the following tyres on my E46 : 195/65 R15 91H 205/55 R16 91H 225/50 R16 92W 205/50 R17 93W 225/45 R17 91W In which tyre size do I have the highest driving comfort , i.e. absorbing shocks , and running quiet ? That I take tyres with a low rolling noise is already clear . Is it true that the larger the running surface is also the rolling noise become more ? Or tires with a low cross-section do not absorb the shocks as well as tyres with a higher Q Uerschnitt ? We don’t care about appearance, but really only about driving comfort. Hello, the background is that our vehicle does not have a spare wheel pit, since there are the tanks for the gas. Now the latest generation of Runflat tires should not be so uncomfortable anymore. A set of 16″ winter tires with steel rims (205.55,R16) costs around 700 euros! Sometimes a tire is also at 200 euros. The best would be the TS830 from Conti. The prices are from Reifen.com. Hello dear user of the tyre and rim forum, I have recently read that car tires, which are stored up to 5 years at the dealer, can be sold as “new” car tires. That is a shame.
