Hello, I have a question about tyre change (summer tires down, winter tires on top). Is this all right? 1) Unlock the nuts a little 2) Pick up the vehicle 3) Unlock the nuts 4) Down the tyres 5) New tires on it 6) Pull the nuts hand-resistant 7) Pick up the vehicle and tighten the nuts with a torque wrench Or do the nuts have to be tightened with a torque wrench in the case of the vehicle that is up? Normally I would say yes, but I can’t get the tyres a This is why I tightened the nuts by hand with a turning point and then pulled them again with the correct torque when the vehicle was pulled off. How do you do that? Thank you very much.

What tires, Dunlop or Falken? Do you recommend Dunlop or Falken?
Hello, I would like to change to 18 inch wheels next season and then also need matching tires in 225/40 and 255/35. I have 2 models in view and ask you now for experiences and which you can/would recommend me. To the selection stand: Falken Azenis FK510 Dunlop Sportmaxx RT2 They are very similar in price (the Dunlop is perhaps a total of 20-30€ more expensive), so I don’t know which one to take/which is better? I tend to Dunlop, d What do you think? Reviews? The falcon has finished very well in many tests this year and among the top 3 almost always, if not even test winners. Ask and ask for recommendations and also a reason which I should take. Driving profile is a lot of city traffic but sometimes longer highway routes.

Michelin Pilot Sport 5 (XL) vs Michelin Latstitute Sport 3
Hi together, I drove the Lattitute Sport 3 in 3 seasons. Actually quite satisfied, the tire has a lot behind it. On holiday miles of gravel tracks, forest and meadows and some potholes taken on Eastern European highways, which has put everything away. Stand before the decision to try something new? Have I looked at the Michelin Pilot Sport 5 (XL). Can anyone call differences to the Lattitute Sport 3? Dimensions 275/45/20 Vehicle Volvo XC90 Requirements stay n the same as above, should still take some vacations for a family of 5 Thanks in advance for your assessments

Ask for help – list of all missing aluminium rim manufacturers
I have a large archive with ABEs of many well-known and less well-known manufacturers of aluminium rims. This also includes former manufacturers who have gone bankrupt or have disappeared from the market for other reasons. Since the procurement of expert reports and ABEs is often a big problem for all owners of these rims, I wanted to create a list with all “former” manufacturers. Please post only the manufacturers, who also sold rims with approval in Germany. Thank you very much for your help.

Asking a Dummie
I’m really sorry for these stupid questions, but I’m just going from one person for whom a car only consists of body and 4 tires and is kind or simply not responding. I have to replace my Golf VI and plan to stay with the VW Group if necessary: Polo / Golf If now a new car is usually only a tire set on it. This consists of rims and tires. If the zb are summer tires, then I can just buy winter tires from a used dealer. If I need rims next to tires, how much do I have to count for it? In my golf I have ugly or standard rims in winter but on the summer tires are more beautiful (yes, I can’t formulate it differently ) Thanks for every normal answer to “dumb” questions. Maybe you can also just say what I have to pay attention to and what additional costs I have to expect.

Aluminium wheels for trailers – what does the TÜV say?
Hi guys, I have renovated my trailer over the winter time. Since I did not like the rusty steel rims anymore, I bought and mounted a pair of aluminium rims (complete wheels) used. Here is a photo of the finished project. The tyre size is already registered. The aluminium rims have fit perfectly from the hole circle and diameter, however, during the assembly I found that the rim was standing on the inside of the axle. That happens if you are looking for So I got 5mm thick track plates and longer screws, now everything fits. The tires are also covered by the fenders just like that. For the track plates I have an ABE, but for a VW Golf and not for a trailer. The aluminium rims are from DEZENT, I have no papers. Data: Manufacturer: Westfalia Permissible total weight: 900 kg Tyre size: 175/70 R13 Now the TÜV is due. Before I embarrass myself there I wanted to ask you what I should be paying attention to so that the TÜV uncle could take it off. Is there any experience with such a thing?

Summer tire complete wheels – Kaufberatung (195/55R16)
Hello dear tire professionals, according to the workshop my summer tires are still good from the profile, however 10 years old. My memory (they are stored there) are qualitative high-quality Michelin tires (car is a C3 II SC). – The workshop did not advise to drive this one more summer = (my idea about it) . Now I have seen an offer where suitable new summer complete bikes for my C3 to 380 E are offered (Uniroyal Rain 5). I have decision problems since I am from Reif With the winter tire wheels a rim is damaged, so I think that in the long term I have to buy a single new steel rim, anyway – with the new complete wheels this would probably disappear, or (because the old summer tires, which would then be discarded, have also all four their steel rims under it, which one could probably also take as a replacement for the damaged winter tire rim, right?). I also have no idea what else today with new summer tires/-ko I might be looking forward to the next year (two new winter tyres were not really cheap at Citroen, but they are quality as I hope). As well as the new steel rim for the one winter tire.- Would you have an idea about this? Thank you already for all the advice.

Hello I’m just about to get new tyres for my new Golf 7. the tyre size should be 225/40 18″. I can’t afford very expensive tires right now. LG

Purchase advice comfortable summer tires for Tiguan Allspace
Hello to the round, I’ve been riding the following tires for the last three years on my Tiguan Allspace 4motion TDI (190hp), standard suspension, air pressure on comfort adjustment: Summer: ContiSportContact 5, 235/55 R18 V on LM rim Winter: Bridgestone Blizzak LM 001, 215/65 R17 H on steel rim Now it’s the case that the winter tires are much more comfortable. The summer tires are pounding on each gully lid and you get so much more shaken that it will be so much more shaken last spring after the change. even my 3-year-old son noticed on his own. I also have back problems that are noticeably worse just after longer rides with the summer tires. The winter tires ride very pleasantly. For this reason I am looking for an equally comfortable tire for the summer season. I will also get new 17 aluminium rims for this purpose and will change to the same tire dimensions as the winter tires. Is 95% already done with it or there are about tiremakers Teller, rubber compound with different models, further optimization potential? I am grateful for every tip!

Summer tyres S204 205/55 R16 91V
Moin, need new summer tires and fluctuate between the Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance 2 and Bridgestone Turanza T005. I need good mileage, my old Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance were from 2016 and are now only down 3.5mm profile (about 17tkm per year). Can I follow the price or does the Bridstone have a significantly worse mileage? Both were good in the test.
