  • Who has experience with Momo Rims?

Hello toamen. I have the Momo Ten-s in 17″ on my signum since last year. And since then I have problems with a vibrating steering wheel. This really works at 120km/h and gets better above 130km/h. Despite several balancing I never got the problem completely away. With the original aluminiums in the same format for the winter I do not have such problems. Therefore my question, has someone made similar or completely different experiences with Momo rims? On Monday get i ch new tires, because the old ones are no longer suitable for the coming wet (even wetter than before) season. Then it will be shown whether my problems with the new tires are gone or whether it is definitely due to the rims and/or their assembly (replacement screws).

  • Edition of accessories rims ?

The wheel cover on axle 1 is to be manufactured by exposing the front apron and fender or by mounting permanently fixed body parts in the range 0° to 30° before wheel centre. The entire width of the wheel/tire combination must be, taking into account the maximum possible operating dimensions of the tyre What does this mean? Tyre size is the same as ex works. Does this come because the rim is 0.5 inch wider?

  • Hankook Ventus V12… Experiences sought (wet, wear, saw tooth)

Hello forum, since my Michelin (225/50 R17) on my Astra (J, SportsTourer 160 PS CDTI) saw teeth I wanted to raise new Pneus. Actually it should be the Nokia Z G2. But now I have come across the Hankook, who get good reviews from all sides. I am not a very sporty driver, but value grip (especially at the 350 NM), good properties in wetness and wear. Unfortunately I have neither in the search, nor in tests an objective evaluation of the Langlebi In my view, the profile does not allow for this, since there are no profile blocks available. How are the wet/aquaplaning properties really in wet weather? In the tests there are times like this and so. Can enough water be displaced despite the continuous profile flank? On the subject of durability: Can someone say something concrete? Is it worth ~20% more for Pirelli or Michelin? to admit? Keep the then 20% longer (both brands should be quite low in wear…) Many greetings, Thomas

  • 20 inch rims for Fiat Bravo 198?

Hi guys, I ask n bitl naïvely in the round whether someone has experiences with send 20 customsmen on nem Bravo 198. My objects of desire are these sweethearts here:http://www.felgenoutlet.de/…/AEZ_Valencia_Black_polished_front I would be interested in 1. whether one could drive with it or what one would have to “rebuild” (in view of kotflügel bördelen etc.) 2. whether one has a chance at all at tuv 3. of course also whether the rims are horny or not the burner =) said Phil

  • Steel rim damaged, tires still good ?

Hello, my daughter is hanging with her Peugeot 107 while parking in front of the house on a concrete edge (flower bucket border made of concrete) with the rim. I guess she came with the wheel slightly on the edge and then slipped down so that the rim was pressed in towards the hub. The tire itself did not get anything at first sight, the rim can of course be thrown away. Since the tire, a Conti Contact, has only 6000 KM down I just thought to buy a new rim which there is already less than 40€ in the bay and to let the tires be raised again. The car stood logically on the tire, but was not moved any more. Can one still use the tire or rather buy a new one? As said – externally no damage but how much does the carcass hold out? Greeting

  • Bad winter tires for new used

Hello, I finally found a car for me that I will pick up tomorrow. Wormwood drops, the car unfortunately has so cheap winter tires on it and no summer tires with it. What irritated me is that the said tires from the ADAC failed especially in the case of drought and strangely cut off somewhat well in the case of snow. Should I heat the tires over the summer now and hope that they are still reasonably good even in the weather and dry road are? and then best bring me a few new ones for the winter? The rims are already a bit affected….

  • Wheel value BBS Polo GTI

Hello, since I have been helped in a similar way here, I ask a friend of mine to help. He has an original set of BBS rims 4×100 (6×15 ET45) of his Polo GTI’s, which he is considering selling. On 2 rims the clear varnish comes up, otherwise no damage (according to his statement). As tires 4 Dunlop Sport XYZ are mounted from the end of 2006 (still some profile). With what for a price could/should he apply? In the bay there are e.g. such rims, which are in a bad condition. d for over 400€. In another auction are more beautiful for 300€ and there seems to be nothing to do. The sale is not urgent!!! My colleague will be happy about your help. Greetings, Malle

  • From V Index to H Index

Hello I have the following question. With my parents their Hyundai Matrix are not original rims mounted in the summer. The rims are in the registration certificate part 1 with the following tyre size 195/55 R15 85 V. Now they needed new summer soaps and I got her 195/55 R15 85 H. The car has a maximum speed of 170 km/h. Are there any problems with the Tüv ? Greeting Marcus

  • Rims old – tires new, car the same?!

hello, maybe a somewhat confusing title of this topic, I hope, however, that someone can help me. the starting situation is the following: my first car was a Peugeot 306XS (88ps) original, where the following tires/wheels were there (summer tyres) rims 51/2Jx14CH4-25 tires 185/65 R14 86T MXT the car had an accident, but I wanted to keep the rims (wheels were over by the accident, but also worn out) on that came the winter and my new car, again a peugeot 306, This time, however, tuned. (side skirts, sports suspension, lower leg, rear and bumper and a few more things) because there were winter tires on the car and there are still, I would like to ask if I can simply re-reference my old summer rims and then use them on the car. then I would at least not have to buy new rims, but only tires in the vehicle letter of the current peugeot is the following: 15.1 = 195/55R15 84 V, the same also at 15.2 (15 = tires ) ( 15.1) on axis 1 to (15.3) on axis 3. Complementary is written on the last page of the vehicle letter: 15.1/15.2: also approved.vuh 195/45r16 84v a.l m-felge 7jx16h2 et 25 (alutec, kba45760, type st670 ps), note: tested m.falken ze512 so, but since I have no idea at all about this, I would like to ask if I can use my old rims? according to the information I should then only take 195/55R15 84v or 45r16? would they fit on the rim? many thanks and I hope it could be least ns explain a bit intelligible mfg
