  • Minimum air loss on a tire – cause unclear

Hello together I have a problem with a minimum air loss on the tyre / rim on only one of my BMW 668 20 inch rim and I just can’t get any further. The pressure loss is about 0.1 bar within 2-3 days. I have already done the following: 1. Tyre pressure sensor: I have replaced the sensor twice. 2. Leak search: The tyre has been placed in a water bath as well as examined with a leak search spray – both without success. 3. BMW garage and tyre w erkstatt: I was in a BMW garage as well as in an independent tyre workshop. Unfortunately, no leaks could be found there either. 4. Valve and rim: Visual inspection revealed no damage or abnormalities The tire is otherwise normal, and there are no visible damage visible. Could it possibly be a hair crack in the rim, or are there other hidden causes that I should have tested? Or someone already had experience with such a thing?

  • Which wheel nuts for winter tire rims KBA 51674?

I drive a Hyundai Kona (1349/AFI) with EZ 11/2021. I had summer tyres on rims with the part number 52910-DD100. Now I bought winter tyres on rims with the KBA number 51674. I found ABEs for rims with the KBA 52910, but not for the addition 52910-DD100. I suspect that the addition “DD100” is Kona-specific, which is why there is probably no separate ABE for this. use rims, or do I need others?

  • Quiet all-year tires for electric cars

Hello community, I am looking for quiet year-round calls in size 225/45 17 for my e-golf. In the closer selection would be the Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF2, Vredestein Quatrac, Continental All Season Contact 2 and the Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons gen-3. Currently I drive the Hankook Kinergy 4s2. I am very satisfied with the characteristics of the tire to the volume. This is not acceptable for an e car. It would also be interesting if these tyres have a rim protection bar h Please don’t discuss the meaning and purpose of all-year tires. I look forward to your contributions. Thank you very much.

  • Nail at the Pirelli Seal Inside, what now?

I probably stuck a nail in one of my Pirelli Cinturato P7 “Seal Inside”. Probably means: I haven’t pulled it yet. So far I only see something that looks like a 3 mm flat-grained nail head in a groove in the profile on the tread. It can be a small piece of metal that is only clamped in, or just a real nail that has penetrated into the tires. I only discovered this thing because I just happened to be looking at the spot on the tire. I haven’t noticed anything about the driving characteristics until then. I’ve been watching the tyre pressure for the last few days, but air doesn’t escape, the tyre is tight. According to the Pirelli advertisement, I would only need to pull out the supposed nail now, and the seal mass seals the hole from the inside completely by itself. Say: Pull the supposed nail, and if the tyre pressure remains unchanged for days, is everything okay? I’m not really sure… How do I now recognize whether a tyre dealer knows how to sell or just wants to sell new tyres? A tyre dealer nearby, for example, immediately said that Seal inside tyres cannot be repaired and I need new tyres. A little research here in the forum and at Google has shown that this is not right and that Seal inside tyres can also be repaired in the specialist shop, they only lose the repair site. self-sealing properties. Or should I better go to my VW workshop? What is your opinion? Thanks already!

  • Which rim stickers?

Moin moin, I would like to miss my rims a red rim and came across rim stickers on the Internet.. • After tyre change in the workshop damaged rims (prints)

Hello guys, I’m destroyed on the ground. I finally got my beautiful summer tires assembled again on Friday and everything was great! Today I cleaned the car completely, the rims etc. were very dirty, then I noticed these funny white stains/prints immediately and I got a real shock. I thought directly to the workshop that there were some acids on the rims? Please tell me I can get that away somehow, the We rkstatt will probably say anyway that they weren’t. Damn. These can be seen on several rims, but one is very intense. Thank you very much.

  • new summer tires and rims, shaft length causes problems

Hello, I bought for my Citroen C4 (3001/AKX) new summer tyres and rims. There are 17 inch rims from Alutech (ikenu metal grey), the report I also have and is also approved for my car, all good. The problem is that on the report stands the following for the fastening material: flat-bunded screws serial screw M12x1,25 for aluminium wheels tightening moment 100 Nm shaft length: 36 the problem is, 36mm is extremely rare, can that be? I have on the internet on the kfzt eile24 page (Berlin) found 35mm, but as far as I have read, 1mm should be longer than 1mm shorter, and with me would be 35mm 1mm shorter. Do I have to go to Citroen? What can I do here? Thank you

  • Part reports and tragast at 300kmh no registration possible!!!

Good evening It’s about the Motec Radical Mct-10 rims with parts report for the W212 E63 Amg. The vehicle is listed in the parts report and had the tyres pulled on in the parts report but they don’t get registered! Tires are 255/30 20 92y and 295/25 20 95y but because of one side in the parts report and because in the vehicle certificate stands 300kmh top speed I don’t get them registered. Has an experience done with it????

  • Wheel purchase: ET40 on ET38

Moin, I have a question. It’s about me wanting to buy new rims from ebay. The following facts: 16x6J are the rims and the fit. The problem is that the press-in depth should be ET38 with me. Also, ET42 would go but would be a different inch size. https://reifen-groessen.de/size/seat/leon/2004/#trim-16i-16v-eudm-103 (source1). Now to my question: could I buy the rim though it would just differ by 2mm? By the way, am a bloody beginner and ha I don’t know about the whole thing. Here are still pictures of which they would fit and of the rim I wanted. Thank you very much already in advance for any efforts and all the answers!
