Hi guys, I need your opinion. Today I was on the way (as well as in stress) in the city. I was on the right track in front of a red traffic light when an ambulance with blue light came. Because I did not want to drive over the red full and at the turn to the right (on the right there was a narrow road and a car on the road) little space was I had to drive narrow right. Was then with the front wheel behind the curve but when I then continued the right rear tire over the board I don’t know how fast I was but guess min 5 to max 15 kmh (think but less) . I checked the right rear wheel now. But I don’t see any damage. Drive a Q8 SUV. Can I still have something badly broken and how do I control it best? After changing today as I said, the front rim had paint placer. The tyre dealer did not want it, of course, because these were only stored. In case of damage picture also understandable. The now damaged rim was not completely repainted until March 2022. ekt from the tyre dealer to the paintr. He doesn’t want it either, because 1. Would have been overpainted 2. The warranty would have expired for a year And he pushes all the blame away. In my opinion, the paintr simply worked badly and just doesn’t want to admit it. I definitely didn’t let anyone else repaint or repair the rim. The only one that was on it was the paintr. I don’t see it either, for such an inferior or sloppy Arb I don’t want to pay again.

Let’s assume that someone wants to “stretch” his tyres with extremely wide rims. The free access to the car is only one side, the other is whether the wheel and tires still fit together at all. I assume that there is no ABE for extreme combinations, but that this has to be done by individual acceptance. What makes it decide whether such stretching is still possible or not? Theoretically, the question also applies the other way around: A tire on a very narrow rim.

Hello together, I’m looking for winter tyres and matching 19-inch rims for my EQE SUV. Unfortunately, I don’t really like the rims offered by Mercedes-Benz, and since the model is still relatively new, there is very little choice on the market. I have contacted several sellers of rims that offer rims with ET values from ET30 to ET45 with TÜV. However, I thought that the ET value should not differ by more than +/- 5 mm from the permissible value. On eBay gi bt it also original Mercedes rims in size 8J x 19 ET38. Wouldn’t that be closer? But should these rims probably be entered in the vehicle papers? MfG

After my last tyre dealer screwed up a set of aluminium rims (3 of 4 rims with scratches/damages from the tyre, prints in all rims because the rims were tensioned without protection from the inside) I am looking for a new operation again. Unfortunately, I have already had bad experiences with various companies in the past (conical band screws in ball bundle rims, various damages). I seem here in my surroundings i no one is able to raise a 225/40 R18 or 235/35 R19 tires (no Runflat) accident-free. Also, only the absolute minimum work is done. I deliver 4 brightly clean rims with old tires and not even the adhesive residue of the force weights are removed. I always do the change between summer/winter tires myself, but at the latest when you need new tires you are dependent on someone. How do you choose your tyre dealer, or can much Does anyone recommend what in my region (southern Emsland)? Do the contract workshops do what when it comes to tires?

Jaaa, a TECHNICAL QUESTION!!! In the bay someone auctions a set of Tomason TN1 8.5×18 incl. summer tires. The hole circle fits and after a contact the seller told me that in the report there is no megane (BMW, Ford, Jaguar), but he drove the rims himself on a Megane RS incl. centrings. Does the magic word here individual acceptance, or is nothing possible without an expert report? I wrote to Tomason days ago…without feedback. Hello all, I have a Passat B8 and a Daihatsu Terios Allrad. I bought the Passat as a leasing back runner, so it is on all-weather tires. Hello, I bought a Mercedes S-Class V222, year 2016 with 105tkm. Then there were 18 inch summer tyres, but they were already pretty bad (10 years old and loud). But the car drove clean and quiet with it. I bought and had used 20 inch Mercedes rims and new Hankook winter tires. Unfortunately, the car now runs far too restless. Hankook had already been on a CLS C218 as a summer tire and was actually satisfied with it. Aschine showed 0 everywhere. However, it works “only” in 5g steps. Max. are I believe on one wheel 70g weights on it, the others have less. I would have to look again exactly, but actually this should still be in frame. I could now just balance out somewhere else and if necessary let go. However, I have the feeling that the tires simply run round. I feel already from 60km/h that the car drives restlessly. Moreover, the rolling noise gets louder and louder and it sounds like you’re constantly driving over something. Do you want to complain to the dealer or the manufacturer? I want to have this checked myself anyway. Because I can be, I send the tires back and dealers/manufacturers say everything ok without being able to prove it. But what do you need to be able to check a tire? Finding a dealer with Hunter machine would also be a possibility, but I don’t actually see that in new tires. But to giga-tire.de 1. very long shipping 2. mature are damaged ( probably stacked on a grid ) 3. production date is 2004 !!! These mature sell as NEW ! ! Hello the mature is 4 years old ^^ Well I created a complaint by e-mail and additionally by fax and sent, double holds better .. so after 4 days they are ready to send me 2 new matures. yesterday they came to the LIKE MÜLL again, tires 4 years old and again one damaged probably again a grid I did not accept this time the supplier had to take them back.
