Hello together. I’m looking for nice rims and new summer tires for my slightly older Kia Rio. However, I always find brand names that tell me very little. In the rim area I have actually not been able to collect any real experiences yet and so far I have only had a few bits of rims. I think they were really ok. And I think the others of Alcar (AEZ and Dotz) will be ok or do you have any negatives? W he looks like he with rims of DBV, platinum, Keskin and other suppliers who demand for a 15 inches rim under 100€ or just above it. With the matures there are then again every quantity names that tell me nothing. I can not really assign things to the Sonar, Sunew, Runway, Kormoran, Goodride etc. Are all these some far east cheapest ripening that you should not really take? In winter I had now ridden Nokian WR D3 and was actually quite satisfied with it. e no problems with it. But are the Nokian summer tires also all usable? Or should it be better for the Korean to mature a kumho? With the different manufacturers one unfortunately always reads about different matures. But then the one should be good and the other less. And always only on test results from the big car newspapers etc. one can not just orient oneself so easily.

When (at how much mm) do you change your winter tires?
Just because of interest: When (at how much mm) do you change your winter tires? Background: The Michelin A4 on our golf are actually at the border where you could change (at least 4 mm) and supposedly should. However, we noticed yesterday and today that the Michelin (which we actually wanted to shut down the summer) still has so much grip that it would be a waste of money to change it now. I have to say that we in general really really do with this tire. were very satisfied. By far the best tire we had on the golf so far. So: When do you change your tires?

Does anyone know the difference between Michelin Alpin A4 and Michelin Alpin A4 AO (for Audi)?
Hello dear tire experts, someone here in the forum knows the exact differences between the standard tyre model Michelin Alpin A4 and the model Michelin Alpin A4 AO (AO stands for Audi vehicles, but according to Michelin website also suitable for vehicles of other brands) I now ride the AO version as 185/60 R15 88H on the polo and only know that compared to the previously driven and reclaimed “Normalo version” the rolling noise is quieter. ellche Properties Audi is worth it and how Michelin changes the tire? Something will probably be different. Michelin or Audi don’t have any exact information about it! Why do they make such a secret – I as the end user must also know exactly if there are deviations to the already frequently tested “normalo-version”! Not that the winter characteristics are possibly worse Many greetings

Unbalance from 100km/h
Hello! So, again summer tires on it and the fun starts. I have an imbalance from about 100 km/h, so the handlebar flickers. At 120 it is the worst, at about 140 it is almost gone again, but not quite. Wheels have now been selected 3 times, but nothing helped so properly. There are original KIA-Alu rims 6J 15, with 205/60R 15 tires on it (Dunlop SP-Sport). The strange thing is that it is not always. On some roads it is stronger, on some roads almost not at all???? It can’t be over, WR back on it and rest is… what else can that be? If a fine balance on the car would do anything?

Summer tire 2013
This year I would like to buy new summer tyres 225/45 R17. In addition to the classic virtues of a tire, after the experience with the series tire Bridgestone Potenza RE050A, the main focus is the noise development. My tyre dealer advised me now to give up the order for cost reasons already in February. A little too early for the usual test runs of ADAC / Stiftung Warentest and the various car magazines. the Nokian zLine. Otherwise there would be a recommendation from the previous year, the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2. Other tyres called “new” such as the Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 or the Michelin Primacy 3 were already available in 2012 – here would be the question of a possible model maintenance. Does anyone know if a manufacturer is still launching a really new model this year?

Various questions about summer tyres
Hello, I have now ordered for long rings new rims (the “old” Kansas are to be found in the marketplace). The aim of the action was to be allowed to drive narrower tires. As rim I picked out a 7.5J x 17 ET48. I’m looking for the right rubbers. On the radar I have Goodyear Efficiency Grip Performance in 205/50 R17 PRIMACY 3 205/50 R17 or alternatively: Dunlop Sport Maxx RT in 215/45 R17 Both sizes I can drive – ggF after registration, I have this with the race management already clarified (TÜV). The tires come on a somewhat more brisk family carriage (Passat Variant TDI 170 PS). Questions: – What would you advise me to ? Mature, brand and size (please don’t discuss the topic 225 or 235 width or 18 or 17 inches) I am looking for a good compromise of rolling noise, rolling resistance (consumption) and wear and tear… – Can anyone tell me why the Dunlop with exactly the same size and name finds itself twice in tire direct ? the same test results – only once the tire is supposedly louder and not so efficient – also different price us EAN number ? The “better” has the EAN 5452000432087 the other the EAN 3188649815630 Is the one with the smaller EAN just a “exit model” ?

Minimal crack in the tire flank!
Hi, I’ve found a lot of cracks in the flank now, but I’m just not really sure about mine! My problem is urgent because I need the car tomorrow morning and I don’t have any other way to get to work or even not to appear there to shower in the workshop before. And if I can make it in the evening?! I’m currently alone and have very long days accordingly at the moment. So, when I came home earlier, that’s what I’m doing on my own. I don’t know how that came in! I could hardly push the fingernail in. Think about this 1-2mm deep maybe, if at all. The question is now, how dangerous is the whole thing? As I said, I have already read a lot and would feel like it’s 50/50. Some say it doesn’t matter, the others say it’s for the sake of security. In principle, I’m more overcautious and would prefer to swap but I don’t know exactly when I can do it. And until then I have to be able to drive somehow?! Slow speed is an option? Of course something like this has to happen when everything is close anyway… Thanks for your help 🙂

Does anyone know these rims? Does anyone have an opinion / ABE for BMW E92?
Hello guys, just wanted to make me a little bit smart, whether there is an expert report for these rims or ABE for the BMW E92? According to the internet they see like the MHE VS Line. At the dealer times asked, but he only meant that they are for export. Someone else said the manufacturer would be Versus…I never heard of it. Obviously, it is not brand rims, but an ABE or part report would be an advantage. Please no discussion about “billigfelgen” Just wanted my Gl Maybe somebody’s driving these rims. Thank you so much.

Change 225er with at least 3mm profile ->?
Last year, when I had my winter tires assembled, I was told in the friendly workshop that I had to get new summer tires next year. Now I am about to buy, but I just measured them again. The tires all have at least 3mm profile on them (Hints approx. 3.2; front about 3.5). Now I wonder if I can’t drive the tires at least until summer and if that’s worth it. I don’t want to take any risk. ut 3mm are already somehow borderline ok, then I buy new ones. Just if the workshop recommends a new tire, they do not do it completely unselfishly. So what do you think? Change or still drive a little bit? It is by the way Continental Conti Sport 3 225 45 R17
