  • Renew GJR

Hello forum, I had originally on my KIA 4 x Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons (gen1) from 2014 (DOT 2214) on it. At the beginning of the year I had to replace the two on the HA at short notice because of a plate (screw). As I needed replacement immediately, the selection was somewhat limited and therefore I have now on the HA two Pirelli Cinturato ALL Season Plus 225/45R17 94W XL SEAL on it. As soon as inspection is due, I asked myself if I should not replace the one on the VA also better we The profile is still good and no cracks can be seen on the flanks but on the treads in particular at the transition from the profile to the surface or the profile itself see pictures. What do you think about it? If you would replace the Pirelli at the front or better something else? What do you basically think of the Pirelli? Basically, I find the cracking after 6 years already quite strong especially if you take into account that the car was 95% in the garage so no cracks were found in the garage. long UV light effect. Edit: The Goodyear feels completely different from the Pirelli. You can easily push the profile studs to the side with the Pirelli with your finger at the Goodyear this is completely hard.

  • Find suitable winter bikes for golf 7

This year I bought a used Golf 7 Combi (1.6 TDi, 110 HP, EZ October 2015). Wanted to get used winter complete wheels and found herehttps://www.michaelneuhaus.de/golf7/golf7-reifen.shtml#zul7 the following allowed sizes: Tyre size Wheel size / Pressing depth 195/65 R15 6Jx15 ET43 (only without DCC) 205/60 R15 6Jx15 ET43 205/55 R16 6Jx16 ET48 (M+S) and 6.5Jx16 ET46 205/50 R17 6Jx17 ET48 (M+S) 205/55 R16 6Jx16 ET50 225/45 R17 7Jx17 ET49 225/40 R18 7.5Jx18 ET5 1 Does this mean that M+S tyres only fit on the two mentioned rim sizes 6Jx16 ET48 and 6Jx17 ET48? Can’t imagine. By the way, original VW aluminium wheels (can’t find the rim size) are standard with 205 summer tyres on them. On the other hand, only 195 tyres are registered in the car ticket. I always find it a bit difficult to find suitable complete wheels in the net, because there are so many different variants. And the search terms Golf 7 + Winter bikes he Maybe you still have some tips for the search or can recommend me a specific rim/tire combination for the winter – maybe the most frequently used. Thanks already! Greetings Michael

  • Cancellation by the dealer because the price is too low???

Hi all, I’m looking for winter tyres because mine are despite 5-6 mm profile, 7 years old. But I had no stress about it and wanted to access if a great offer came. I have been watching the Goodyear UG Performance + in 215/55 R16 93H at idealo.de. The lowest price was 72-73 €. Yesterday afternoon this was 53.03 at Real.de. Dealer was Goodwheel. I immediately ordered the tyres and shortly afterwards the order confirmation of both real and In the meantime the price was 50.88 with another dealer. Today I received the cancellation of my order by real. The price was idealo at 73.18 and Real at 79.24. For me the too low price is the reason and nothing else. Hello Mr. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, the following article has just been canceled by the dealer Goodwheel due to a faulty offer. A delivery is therefore no longer taking place. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx x The payment made by PayPal was refunded at the same time. As a rule, this will be received within a few hours. In the event that a purchase contract should have already been concluded, we hereby challenge it on the basis of an explanation error. With kind regards Is this procedure correct? Can we proceed against it? Thank you very much.

  • 225 / 45 / 18 Year-round tyre recommendation

Hello, I would like to change to all-year tyres at the BMW F31. I would still like to have 18″ in winter and two separate wheelsets with summer and winter tyres are annoying, but above all also expensive. Alone an original BMW rim set costs mostly four digits and the tires also get old before they have left. For example, I have currently 4J old Pirelli summer tyres and they can easily slip under the hood on wet road even without significant PS, while 1 J old winter tyres stick very well on the road (although one should think that winter tyres would be a much worse choice in summer). So I would prefer to put on all-year tyres and change them more often. Now I have looked at the AMS test (225/45/R17: https://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/…/…fen-test-2018-compact class). Unfortunately, the test winner of Conti is not in the size 225/45/R18. The second-placed Goodyear Vector 4Seasons and the third-placed However, there is already Michelin CrossClimate +, but as far as I can see, without rim protection (at least there is no indication in the article descriptions at Ebay). Furthermore, the Michelins are in set >100€ cheaper and are non-runflat, which I personally would prefer (must now throw away the rear tyres because of a tyre breakdown, as Runflats). But the ASM criticizes the aquaplaning associations of the Michelins, which I do not like again. Can someone please me here please with understandable arguments and not something like this: “I have driven tires XYZ before, everything was good”. I would be very grateful for that. Greetings

  • Beginner – your opinion on my wish rims

Moin Moin πŸ™‚ I don’t know soooo much about rims and therefore my questions to you: What do you say to the offer? Do you have suggestions for improvement? Which Audi covers should I take? The ones that go into the screw holes or just stick on the front? I have 30mm track width for the rear, is that still necessary at ET30? And if so, do I have to register them? Have no questions now, but there are certainly still many things I have to pay attention to and The offer: 4x 255/35ZR19 96W Maxxis Allwetter 4x Aluminium rims MAM RS3 8,5×19 ET30 palladium painted 1246,00€ incl. mounting, force, wheel change & VAT. They would be added at no extra charge. The original Audi wheel covers give me for 70€. Oh maybe still data about my vehicle – I think the rims fit visually or? Audi A5 – 3.0 Diesel – 204PS – 2011 BJ Faceliftmodel – Color: Dayt The picture should only show the color of my vehicle. Thank you! MfG Dustin

  • Deviating permission for full-year tires?

Hello, my wife drives a 2018 SEAT IBIZA. Lat registration certificate 1 at 15.1 and 15.2 she is allowed to drive 185/65 R15 88H tyres. These are also mounted on the factory side as summer tires. Now she wanted to change to all-year tires and keep the original rim. Speak only new tires. (Online) she bought all-weather tyres M+S (Michelin). When this should be installed the dealer said that these should not be assembled (trader and assembly is the same shop as o no conflict of interest). He gave my wife, it MUST be 185/65 R15 91V. Why a car with ~90PS tires needs the 240km/h can, and all weather tires now have to have more load than the normal I really don’t understand now… The COC is currently not findable, so I could not look there yet. Therefore I can only ask general questions: – Can it be that the values in 15 registered values do NOT apply to all-year tires? Thank you and greetings!

  • Tyre age

Hello together, with my new old man already winter tires have been mounted and I have some questions about it. The front tires are from 2006 (Conti) and have still about 5mm profile. The rear ones are from 2013 (Conti) and have about 6-7mm profile. Have looked at the front as exactly as it goes as layman and have not discovered any cracks or the like. Do you think I can still drive the set this season? (Living in S-H, rather mild wet winter) Or should I prefer the front one because of age. Since there were no summer tyres and I would buy them again in a few months, my consideration was also whether GJR would make sense, what do you think? Drive about 15,000 a year Car is an E-Class Bj 98 Thanks already

  • Mount winter tyres without running direction only with Inside/Outside

Hello, have winter tires at home and don’t understand how to mount them. If only inside/outside, they are mounted on the rim. A directional arrow is not available. Now I would have to mount them in such a way that the profile “represents”. The “V” of the profile then shows almost once forward and once backward. With an image as I would have to mount them. What do you say that can fit so, can I mount them as long as I want to fit inside/outside? Greeting πŸ™‚

  • ride new winter tire set for one year (also in summer)

Hello everyone, have the opportunity to rent a car over factory leasing for a year. Big disadvantage: you can tire the car only four compartments so either summer or winter tires Only summer tires I can exclude because I am dependent on my car and the winter here is significantly more severe than in the big city. Now to the actual question: I got the car in March with winter tires and then have it one year. Drive about 25000 km per year. can this be rich with normal driving methods because winter tires are driven much faster in summer? Wouldn’t like to ride the winter with the driven. Of course it would be better if I could rent now and start with fresh winter tires in winter and start with slightly driven winter tires in summer. I know everyone has a different way of driving but maybe there are a few who have done this already. Thanks in advance

  • Stored summer tires disappeared from merchants. What to do?

Hello board, am new here. Last year I had my summer tires stored with my dealer for the first time in autumn (GTC 17″ rims). Last Friday I wanted to have my summer tires installed and take my winter tires right away because I will change the next weeks anyway. After the information that my front brake discs and brake blocks have to be renewed, I had it done. The company manager said that my set of summer ice creams would have disappeared without a trace. According to his statement from today’s noon, he would not have found a solution yet. He offered me to put similar rims on it now so that I don’t have to drive around with my winter tire until my rims are found. Now I have just thought that the car dealership might take a long time before I finally have my rims again. How long do you have to wait for a replacement or what kind of MΓΆgl would be great if one of you could help me. Greetings
