Hi people, I’ve had the last one every now and then when braking with my Opel Vectra B a rather uneven brake (almost a stuttering) which became worse and worse the last days. When I was at the tank today to refuel air, much to me on which the valves were not there where they should be. But a few centimeters further had slipped so the valves had already folded off. Since I already put on winter tires soon I want to ask if the summer tires now any he could be damaged and should I have the tires restocked before winter?

Can I use these tires?
I’m looking for winter tyres for my new Hyundai i40. In the registration certificate is the size 205/60R16. I think that’s the minimum size. I wanted to order tyres now via reifen.com. I only search for tyres and give my vehicle data will show me 3 sizes: 205/60R16 215/50R17 225/45R18 If I now go through complete wheels, enter my HSN and TSN and choose a 16 inch rim, I have 5 different 16 inch sizes to choose from, among others auc h 205/55R16. I would still have this size from my old car in the garage, can I now also use this tire or is this an indicator error on the reifen.com page?

What is the quietest winter tire in 205/60 R16 92H for Mercedes E-Class ?
Hello…. Don’t come around to buy me some new winter tires. The Conti raised up at the time are 6 years old and have to go down. The driving comfort is important to me with the New Pneus. So you should achieve an extremely low indoor noise. According to your own experience, Conti will be louder already after 3 years. Dunlop Winter Sport 3D I had on my old E-Class already after 2 years became noticeably audible. I had the quietest winter tire so far on the C-Class, n like the Pirelli Sottozero. But it had modest characteristics in the snow. What can you recommend? A nice weekend…

Buying advice Cheap tires!
Hello, I would like to buy for the summer new tyres of the dimension 215/40-17. Now I have belonged to the well-known premium brands and the middle class brands of the extremely cheap imports from the Far East b.z.w. from western European production. These tyres of the brands Falken, Maxxis, Nankang, Wanli, Star Performer, Fate, Nexen etc. unfortunately do not show up in any tire tests, so one must rely on the statements of the individual manufacturers when buying blindly and the write of course not bad of yourself ! Do you have real tips or recommendations about these tires?

Summer tires in front and winter tires in back?
Hello, A new version: I would like to mount summer tyres at the front and winter tyres at the rear soon for 2..3 months. Reason: the car is sold and it should not be upgraded by new tyres, since the price is already fixed… 1 pair of good (5.5mm) and 1 pair of less good (2.5mm profile) summer tyres are available, as well as 4 good winter tyres. Alternatively: the summer tyres with less profile on the back or the winter tyres continue (we already had yesterday…) the ADAC and my tyre dealer recommend new tires is logical, but do you have experience with this mixed tire? Greetings, Peter

Summer tire – need recommendation 🙂
Hiho, have only my first car (juhu)… At the moment the winter tires are still on it, but that should change as soon as possible Unfortunately 2 of the summer tires that were about to not really use anymore… therefore 2 new ones have to come! Have made me a little smart and made a short selection: – Dunlop SP Sport Maxx TT – Continental ContiSportContact 3 – Continental ContiPremiumContact 2 The first two have Speedindex Y, the latter has V – but what would be enough for me. W I am particularly interested in good driving characteristics, even when driving in a sporty way and optimising fuel consumption… The noise development is secondary for me… Which model would you advise me on and why? Or do you have alternative suggestions? Thank you alreadyma and greeting

Which air pressure for winter tyres in wet and snow is the safest?
Hello, I drive a 90 HP Corsa D and usually drive alone. I have 155 winter tyres. Which air pressure is best for VR and HR regarding safety, so that you can drive over wet and snow most safely? Dear bit more pressure, so towards Eco or rather a bit less pressure, so direction of comfort? Please ask for your answers. Thank you in advance.

No KBA – No. on the Carlsson Racing OZ 10J. Wheels for CLK W208
Hello, have a small or bigger problem here, with my 10j Carlsson rims ! Have the rims once with 8×17 and 10×17 and were driven more on a Mercedes w202. Unfortunately I have to note that on the 10j rims there is no KBA-.No… See attached… but on the 8j rims the KBA-.No. is available. Unfortunately I also do not have a part opinion. My question, can I get these rims cut over to a CLK w208. At the front on the 8J. rims are 205 40r17 and at the back on the 10j. rims are 245 35R17 tyres on it. what kind of tyre combination I can use best for these rims. Unfortunately I also don’t know the ET or press-in depth of the rims, but as already mentioned were these rims on a Mercedes w202. On the photo it was seen that was done, that I did, to watch that under the paint is something to recognize “which unfortunately also did not bring anything. Thanks to you who help me !

Can I drive these rims at all??
Hello people! First of all: I have no idea about rims/tires and ABEs/certificates! I bought a VW T4 VR6 built in 1996 a few days ago. In addition, there were summer tires mounted on Ronal-Alus in the trunk and winter tires on Alutec-Alus on the vehicle. In addition, a large pile of unsorted ABEs and expert reports… the seller probably didn’t quite look through there. Today I sorted the paperwork and the result: Most papers are for the rims in the trunk and then the a still some papers for BBS rims for BMW! So has nothing to do with me! So I already have no papers for the mounted rims! Prima -.- The KBA number is 46395 (and that led me to the “Alutec Nitro” rims type “NI757 5 hole”: http://www.alutec.de/…/abe-tuev-expertise-alt On the page there are also many ABEs and reports to download, but not for the T4! So I see right now that I can’t drive these rims at all? What can I do? Can ic h which still have to be registered? By the way, 205/65R15C tyres are registered in the vehicle certificate (these are also the summer tyres!), but 225/50R17 are mounted on the rims! So what to do? VG Birger

Winter tires – decision support Continental TS850 or Michelin A5
Hello, I need your help in decision-making^^ I need 2 sets of winter tyres. One for a golf variant, and the second for a caddy. So far I had the Michelin A4 with which I was very satisfied with the variant. The A5 is still quite new – in the Öamtc test he did not convince so much with consumption and wear – to what extent one can trust the tests I also not quite know… What do the tire experts among you say: Continental TS850 or Michelin A5? n Michelin would still speak of the 30 Euro voucher for refuelling. According to the test the Conti is better for this.
