Hello together, I would be interested if tyres of identical size should generally have the same weight. I ride the 245/45/18 100Y Runflat in the summer. When changing to the winter tyres I noticed that the wheels with Hankook-S1 Evo2 tyres are considerably heavier than the wheels with the Pirelli P7 on the rear axle. I find that a bit strange, especially since I had massive problems with the Pirellis on the front axle with imbalance since these a nasty height I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry.

how do you recognize a real ABE/assessment?
The question is really unpleasant to me. Actually I didn’t really think about the topic or thought about being on the running. But now that I have the ABE attempts to organize for my old benz rims – I turn around. Find in the net as well as nothing concrete. In the end it’s about me: I have old, really beautiful aluminum rims made by OZ for my old 124th year 1988. OZ and co can’t help me – therefore I did research without end. Now I have e in the gentlemen who wants to send me his ABE for cash. Okay. No topic in itself. But then the question came to me – since he sent me the three most important pages – how do I recognize if this “copy” of the ABE and the report is real? All the information – but I don’t find such correct indicios – where I can distinguish a “selfmade” from original. It’s not about any special or something. The rims are special for my car – fit of size and co exactly to the papers. Also that there is an ABE/certificate – is sure. I would only like to know if there are any characteristics – which one can clearly determine the authenticity. I know some things – but they are not generally valid and probably only with the original / not copy. On the net stood almost nothing. I really ponder at the… In theory I could write this thing almost myself as they look. Also for helpful links I would be grateful! also upload the pages times. Lg

Tire storage – Rims discarded after a certain time
Hello dear community, for the current occasion I would like to address you. The following situation: I own a Jeep Wrangler TJ which I would like to sell at the moment. The car currently drives on all-year tyres with a second set of rims. I stored the original set of rims at Euromaster, where also the set of rims with the all-year tyres was bought. Now two years later I wanted to pick up the original set of rims because I wanted to sell it with the vehicle. “We’re sorry, but your tires have been disposed of and are no longer in the warehouse because they haven’t been picked up for a long time.” But I paid for the storage…. That can’t be that Euromaster just disposes of my property! I’m just animally angry right now! Does any of you know what this looks like legally? Thank you! Michi

Question about speed indexes
Servus people, I have a somewhat unusual question and that is that I work at a car dealership in part service and sold a tire a few days ago. The customer had an A3 8V 1.6 TDI mounted on the Y summer tire, unfortunately no Y tires of the manufacturer were available, W were available. Then the service consultant said we simply order W, go also up to 270. First I didn’t think much about, were ordered and mounted. In the afterwards I came to the The speed index is not about the one in the vehicle’s license, but about the maximum speed of the vehicle + approx. 8-10 KMH, is that correct? How is that for mixed assembly, all data are the same except for the index and the tire is called something different, but is from the same manufacturer ? Please no Horro stories, I really break my head about the thing and am afraid now that the customer could get a tyre pitcher or other … In the company also nobody could give me an exact statement on the topic, which all said, that is not a problem at all, but also did not know the exact regulation … already many thanks …

Remarkable high rolling noise for new Audi A4 Avant
I already have a thread over there with the Audians, but maybe there are more tire experts here. After about 2,800 km with my new A4 B8 Avant 1.8 TFSI I am quite shocked about one thing: the high rolling noise! Every smallest change in the road is clearly “passed through”. Since I still have my 16-year-old A4 B5, I also have the direct comparison: almost a tram opposite the old additions come from 180 km/h for my feeling also very deutl of course, it is clear to me that with such an excellent quiet running engine and a well-muffled interior, other noises are all the more noticeable – and possibly can disturb. I am currently driving quite normal standard wheels 16 inches with 225 Conti Premium Contakt 2. Is there anything known about this? Actually, the tyres are not noticed in all tests by particularly loud rolling off. What interests me: what are currently recommended tyres in this dime nsion regarding low rolling noises? On good luck I don’t want to tear down the almost new tires immediately, but if certain “lesser” alternatives open up, I will seriously think about it, because the sounds dampen the joy of the new car already very much

New tires – Driving noise – Complaint?
Hello motor-talk-friends, I bought four new Dunlop StreetResponse tyres for my Golf VI a few days ago. Since then, while driving (between 40 and 80 km/h) I hear driving noises like in a subway, a kind of singing, that makes a whirl. The Golf VI is really very quiet in itself and even the tyres that were on it were not heard at all. And now this quality loss, I am totally unhappy 🙁 Yesterday I was at the dealer’s office. I would have to buy new tires in order to be able to send the Dunlops for the complaint, but may take up to half a year… Apart from the fact that I still have winter tires at home, which I could pull up for so long, he also said that such a complaint has no success according to experience, because the tire is “all right” in itself and it is probably a subjective feeling. I am totally angry if you buy something else that doesn’t like or lacks And here you have no chance at all? My question: has any of you already had such a problem and knows whether a complaint is worth it? Thank you in advance. Andreas

Lassa Snoways 2+
Moin! Since my two rear tires had bumps (Conti Wintercontact) had to get new ones today ( Renault CLio 97Bj). Werktstatt called quickly at the next tyre dealer at the still 2 Lassa Snowways 2+ tires there had (35€ / St.). Now after mounted/wounded I just made myself smart on the Internet and am a little worried. Users give the tire on average the mark 2.57, but in general in many forums or the normal Snoways2 (without plus ) with flaws Reviewed by ADAC. Do I have to be worried now? There are two completely new tyres mounted in the rear. Thank you for your answer.

Summer tire Nankang NK Comfort Eco-2 225/40 18
Hello! I’ve got new rims, now “only” the row has to be selected. So far I have not had any experience of any tires, because my cars have always had them and I didn’t have them for long… Now to my car – Opel Astra J 116 hp, rim is 8.5j 18inch. I mostly drive in the city (normal to sometimes a little sporty) and several times a year also relatively fast on the train. I looked at some opinions in the forum, which go very fast. but I have read again and again about the Hankook Ventus Evo V12 and Ventus S1 Evo-2, which are described everywhere in the forum as very good. But I have also looked at GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC 2, Barum BRAVURIS 2, Dunlop SP SPORT MAXX. But I would prefer the S1 Evo-2 from Hankook. Then I came across the above Nankang NK Comfort Eco-2, which should be very cheap but also very good. They came on the market last year, so I don’t find any tests or opinions about it.. Does anyone have this tire? if yes please report! what is the experience with it?

Alleskönner gesucht – sporty / durable summer tire 235/35 R19
Hello, I drive a Megane 3 RS with Cup package (so with lock). Currently still with mixed tyres from the previous owner, front Hankook S1 Evo2, rear Fulda SportControl. The front are now down, should have held so about 15 TKM (of which about 150 KM race track guided driving). My driving profile is basically quite tire-friendly, because I drive 62 km on little curvy federal road and highway simply to work. In the leisure time then also gladly a little faster on the road. the 15 TKM almost as a little bit. I am also disturbed by the loud “circuit” with the Hankook when it goes towards the border area. So now two new ones have to come here and I don’t know which ones. I would have taken the following in the choice: Hankook S1 Evo2 – approx. 115 € Michelin Pilot Sport 4S – approx. 170 € The price difference is already severe. The Michelin would only be in question if he would be much more durable and the extra price would thus change over the costs for the and the mileage in approximately Amortized. I don’t need the best performance all the time, because I can only swim along the way anyway. Well, what do you think? Or buy something else? Greetings
