  • hankook s1 evo 3 loud

Hello people, would like to know if you have experience with the new tyres s1 evo3 from Hankook? Recently bought me these summer tyres in the dimension 255 35 ZR 20 97Y. Vehicle is an A6 4G 3.0 TDI quattro. Tyre pressure VA: 2.8 bar HA: 2.6 bar (according to manufacturer specification). I feel the tyres as particularly “loud” e.g. at approx. 110 km/h motorway ride or is sometimes even a “wow” noticeable. At higher speed > 130 km/h then rather normal loud. 50 km/h at speeds. On bad asphalt the tires can be heard especially (comparable with a “drowning”. So far these are about 350 km in use. Production country on tire label is Korea (are also produced in Hungary as far as I know). Before that I had Pirelli PZero in use and did not have this phenomenon. Would be happy about your feedback.

  • Which tire has the most beautiful profile design?

Hello, which tire does you think has the most beautiful profile design? And please no answers like “what brings you a horny profile if………” 🙂

  • M+S – Winter suitable?

Hello, I have tyres with the inscription M+S. The tyre retailer told me that the tyres were summer tyres and not winter tyres. I insisted, however, that the inscription M+S stands for mud+snow, and therefore no summer tyres in the classical sense. In any case, it would be in his opinion, not winter-friendly tyres. There would be all kinds of things on the tyres and the M+S would not stand for anything at all, according to the tyre dealer and his employee. “That had nothing to say “, their answers were. Are M+S labeled tyres suitable for winter? What does M+S stand for? Does there still have to be a symbol, or does the label M+S suffice? As far as I know, M+S tyres are all-year-round tyres. How do you recognize these all-year-round tyres? You see, I’m a bit confused, but also angry that the tyre specialist didn’t want to advise me properly. Now I’ll let you advise me. Thanks in advance. mfg building79

  • Best breakdown spray?

Which is the best breakdown spray (without compressor), which securely seals the tyre and also pumps it up? It is about 14-16 inch rims and max. 195 width. Help me. The heavy spare wheel has to get out of the small one.

  • Which winter tyres for C-Class

Tomorrow together, I need 4 winter tires, new (used) vehicle, first winter. All-wheel and 18 inch (C-Class Kombi). After various tests and price orientations I would probably have taken the Bridgestone (LM 005) now. In the size where I would need the set I would be only for the tires at approx. 520 €. What I have now talked about were the solid tests and possibly also the EU label. Even if this is tested by the manufacturer itself – but wet A un un d Consumption C does marketing-wise already something compared to the competition. I am inconclusive about the subject of wear. I currently ride corona-related almost not at all, in normal years it would be about 10tkm/season for the winter tires (and 10tkm for summer). In addition, I like to drive sometimes faster but generally rather “cozy”, so am not a country road-curve hunter. Snow is here with us actually again and again and how that is on the village remains the then also In addition, we already count as a border area to the “bergian country” – ergo, I have to be able to get up a hill in winter. The question – which probably no one can answer here, but opinions I like to hear – is e.g. the extra charge for a Michelin it is worth considering for e.g. running performance? Reasonable tires will probably also be able to build, so I wouldn’t even worry about it now. The sentence Michelin would be approx. 120 € more. If I can drive the one season longer, of course, I will be happy to pay… For the sake of completeness, the tire dimensions: 225/45/18 (front) 245/40/18 (back) Greeting and thank you in advance

  • With full-year tyres in winter to southern Bavaria?

Hello, will spend the next few months in the greater Munich area as well as in the Alps (near) and are looking for winter-friendly tyres. As a city driver from NDS I am quite unbiased for an area like southern Bavaria. If you don’t get into extreme weather now it is possible to travel areas like Garmisch-Partenkirchen? I’m not an enthusiast and ride “only” a Polo 4 with 75 HP on the Zugspitze so I won’t be able to ride it anyway The Polo still had Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons Gen 2 195 50 R15 which are now pretty low and now have to be replaced.

  • Star Performer SPTS AS: very loud + whimpering at 40 km/h

I have a problem with the all-year tires Star Performer SPTS AS: For the first time these are extremely louder in the rolling noise compared to the previous Dunlop Winter Sport M3 (ok this is due to price acceptable), but I have in a certain speed range between 30 – 50 km/h with maximum effect at about 40 km/h a pounding noise which corresponds to exactly 1 wheel rotation. It is audible like an imbalance, but the steering wheel is absolutely quiet and I have the fitter in the balance. It is the same problem that someone with Goodyear Ultra Grip 7+ has: http://www.motor-talk.de/…/…rip-7-sehr-laut-droehnen-t2953421.html I would now change the tyre type and would need your advice, to choose from the following models. Mainly important would be the Performance on snow (yes, I know this is not perfect for all-year tyres): Kumho Solus KH21 Maxxis MA-AS Pirelli P 6 Four Seasons Glue QUADRAXER Vredestein QUATRAC 3 Toyo Vario-V2+ Goodyear EAGLE VECTOR EV-2 + Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons What is your recommendation?

  • Problems if you only change tires by axle?

This week I have to take care of new WR for the front axle, as they probably came just below the 4mm limit, but could not measure exactly yet, because I don’t know where I get such a measuring slide. Why I didn’t pack new ones on it? When I took over the car in early August, the WR were still on it, because the previous owner “borrowed” his rags to the race management at the beginning of the year. Unfortunately he only had one set of rims. Since it was too expensive for me I was driving with the WR, but I didn’t think that the front wheels would race down so far in the 3000 kilometers driven. well, now I finally have a second set of rims, I will “a little” some time in the winter and then I can have the SR pulled on it. Since the money is scarce and the rear tyres are much better, I wanted to change the front wheels now and next month I would like to change the rear wheels. Can this cause any problems? The car is a front-wheeler, which is why the front-wheelers have also driven off more. On top are 165/70 R13 and should be again. So far there are rear and front tires of Bridgestone mounted. I know exactly model just net from the head roofed there to the Goodyear Ultragrip 7+, which is available at Reifen.com for 53€/piece. I want to get the prices at two local dealers before. Finally, the also Put someone on the rim

  • Warning from reifen-versand.de

I ordered 4 Conti winter tyres, received order confirmation, transferred, waited 2 weeks and then an email with the lapidare explanation that my order was cancelled because the tyres would no longer be available. Well, it was explicitly “available immediately” at the time of my order! A look at the homepage shows: the tire is still listed as available, but now for 72,– Euro instead of 55,– as before! So it is only not available to 55,–, probably already available from he for 72,-. Just 17,– per tire pay on it… I don’t get my money back for the time being, it’s parked for “later orders” on my customer account. But I’ll never order there again! You’ll be sold by them for stupid, so my urgent recommendation: DO NOT ORDER!!!

  • Same name, different price! Differences???

Hello, I’m just looking around at summer tyres and still swinging between the Pirelli Cinturato P7 and the Bridgestone Turanza ER 300. Both good tyres, but now to my problem: One finds from one and the same supplier the tyres with exact same designation but strongly different price. e.g. offer from my Opel dealer the Pirelli Cinturato P7 in 205/55R16 91V once for 112,- and once for 79,- Euro… There are also no abbreviations for emergency running properties, or rim protection What’s the difference? Which one is the winner of the test? Are both equally good? My dealer couldn’t tell me either.
