  • OZ Botticelli III rim, information needed

Hello guys, Even if I don’t think I’m getting my desired information here, but I try it anyway Can someone tell me how wide the outer bed in inches of a 9×20 ET:41 Botticelli III rim is ? It would be important for me if she has a 2.0 or 2.5 inch AB! Mail to OZ I wrote 4 weeks ago, answer none. Phone call followed 2 weeks ago, there I was told I get my desired information within 2 days via mail, unfortunately they never came. If I am not used to OZ, previous requests have always been answered within 2-3 days About information I would be very grateful Greeting Passat_V6

  • Tires burst after 2,000 km

Hello, my BMW on Sunday burst the right rear tire on the highway, first the steering trembled, then there was a loud noise- externally the tire has no damage due to foreign influence (nagel or similar) – it is only a 10-15 cm long crack on the inside top… the tires I had only driven about 2,000 km- profile etc. looked also all top. Does anyone with such experiences? Do I have chances of a new tire as a culant at the tire manufacturer? These are Vredestein Ultrac tires in 19 inches… LG Stefan

  • Balanced for tyre repair?

Hello all, I had a tire repaired this week. I left it on the rim and accepted it again. As far as I know, for the repair of the tires it is necessary to be pulled from the rim and the wheel is again balanced after the tire has been pulled on again. After closer examination of the wheel I noticed that no new weights have been added and none of the old ones have been removed. Do I have a mistake of thinking and the tire has to to fix not from the rim, or balancing only refers to possible imbalance of the rim? Or can it be possible that the tire was pulled up exactly as before, so that a new balancing was not necessary? Otherwise it was probably forgotten or not made out of laziness, according to the motto, he doesn’t notice anyway, what do you think, do I have to go again? Many thanks and many greetings

  • 225/40/18 Which ones?

Moin. I had bought a Focus Econetic 1.6 Tdci with an optical ST Bodikit in 2009. The Hankook available for purchase are now totally down and I need another set for the last summer. The car goes away in October 2016 and more than 5000km they will not run anymore. I have always only bought tyres on site but I have now seen many varieties on the Internet which are much cheaper. I don’t want to invest more than 250 Eur and there is no effect. I have a lot of choice. What can I take there without hesitation? Would I be happy about a few tips.

  • Michelin CrossClimate 215/55R17 Saw tooth rear axle

Hello and good morning, I drive a Peugeot 508 SW GT and have a saw tooth formation on the HA. The tires were mounted by another, identical 508 when buying this car (I didn’t want the 19″ers). Whether there was already a light approach of SZ was available, I can’t rule out with certainty. The tires are DOT 1216. The tire now has about 30000km down, the rest of the profile looks good. My questions: – can I assume that the tire basically does not go to the A uto fits? – creates an SZ, because the car is too light at the HA and “springs” – is the load index too high? 91 prescribed lt COC LI 91 (1130kg axle 2), here is mounted LI 98 – I drive with relatively little air pressure (case space empty, much BAB at even speed), do I transport the SZ? I want to mount the CC again, because the tire is basically good. We drive the also on a 308er Limo and are satisfied.Edit 06.56h: used LI from 94 to 98 corrected.

  • Conti 6 totally narrow to 8.5×20

Hello municipality, I ordered new summer tires in winter. 225/35/20 continental 6 After raising to the VA I was scared how narrow the tires are… Despite rim protection edge the rim is still free. The rim is not very wide… 8.5 is actually a normal wide one. Can someone recommend wider tires?

  • Imperial Ecosport 2 vs. Tristar Sportpower 2 xl Which tyres are better?

Hello community, I would like to buy a few 19 inch summer bikes for my BMW 1er F20. On the internet I found a few good offers with the rims including tires for 1,000€. There are several dealers, however, which offer the rims with different tires. 1.Tires: Imperial Ecosport 2 2.Tires: Tristar Sportpower 2 xl My question, which tires are better? I know that I can not expect Yokohama quality… I could get the rims without tires for 600€. Somi t I have 400€ budget for summer tires.

  • Tires flattened after 3 weeks of service life

Hello, my car was standing at the roadside for 3 weeks and today I noticed a plate on the back right. During the last ride everything was fine and since I ran past the car every now and then in the 3 weeks, I think that the tire was still full a few days ago – but I’m not sure. My question: If a tire is still full after 2 weeks of service and after another week flat, it makes sense to refill it and hope that it will be e hold air? Or should you replace it immediately in such a case? Is it possible that the valve has not kept tight at too low tyre pressure and is again OK at normal tyre pressure? LG

  • Driven against tyres of a parked car ….

Hey guys, I hope you’re all fine. Was traveling with my mom early and looking for a house that was a bit difficult to find when we then realized that it was about a few meters further behind, she was driving backwards and we didn’t exactly watch if something was behind us, strangely we both didn’t realize that there was a car on the back right .. Probably too much concentrated .. well, bad luck had stopped. 20 years accident-free and of all things in such a banal constellation it happens. It was an SUV BMW if I am not mistaken and it was just parked to the right and the tires turned left- we hit the left front tire with the right side of our rear, also gave a pretty bang. As we get out we just noticed that we have some black color of the tires and the tires on the side was just a little “ground off”. My question is now, we have to deal with a very big damage like the axle or minor damage like tires and crossbars? I’m aware that it can’t be said like that but about that. Have also taken some pictures, would they help?

  • Winter tires for Ford Kuga 4WD: Nokian or Hankook?

Hello! The Ford Dealer offers Nokian and Hankook winter tires on one hand. They should be mounted on a Ford Kuga MK 2 with four wheel. Which are better? The Hankook tires cost 69 Eur more (up price for all 4 pieces). If they are better, I pay that. Thank you very much! HC
