Hello to each other, I have the following problem. (Of course I googled and asked several people but so far I couldn’t solve this problem) I bought rims from SMC Privat. Unfortunately there is no KBA on the rims! So it can’t be entered either. There is a sticker in the inside of the rims, that these are only to be used for Audi A3 and Golf 5. But is not meaningful to enter the according to Tüv (is also logical there a n Sticker can be glued to it). Someone like me can get to the KBA number or how to get an ABE. Good evening together, my Citigo, 2014, 124Tkm, or the currently mounted summer tires make me and my workshop despair. The following problem: I drove through the area with winter tires on steel rims, as usual, all smoothly and okay. At Easter I then packed my summer tires, also on steel rims, on the car and already on the first ride I noticed a clear (also clearly visible) wobble of the steering wheel. 100 km/h, worsens up to 120km/h and even takes off a bit with faster driving (e.g. 150km/h). All this slightly depending on the road surface, the steering wheel shakes short (up to approx. 100km/h) more when I walk at 120 of the gas. In addition, the steering wheel trembles, even with a straight, constant road with cruise control 120 times more and less, without any apparent reason. With the thought of an imbalance I was not so wrong at first, the wheels were not a disaster. But I didn’t know exactly what to do either, so I read it. So now I’ve got balanced wheels moored by the workshop, but unfortunately I didn’t notice any difference during the test drive. I put the winter bikes on it at home again and everything was running around again. Then a small workshop marathon with control of the brakes, shock absorbers, tyres and rims started, without any knowledge. Hello, I hit a very high curb at the parking today. Thus a 4-5cm piece of the left front maturation fell, it looks like it was part of the MFS (tire rim protection). The summer tires are Pirelli 245/40R20 Runflat XL MFS, with only 12 000 km. Question – should I change the tires? I’m just in Italy, about 800km away from home.

Hello, I have today track plates mounted on my 1 BMW, 10 mm per side. I have a system in which the track plates are mounted simply by longer wheel screws. Therefore, I got new wheel screws to the new set. I tightened the wheel screws with a torque that was funny that the screws did not reach the 110 Nm relatively long. It seemed a bit strange to me, although I actually forgot the screws with the original ones before. I also put the track plates on the rims and compared them on the wheel hub, everything was ok. Can that be the first time tightening this is normal? It has also been so on both sides.. Greetings and thanks for replying

Hello have for 1 week new summer tires and rims 19 inches. I had the original Opel RDKS sensors installed. After the change there were values in the BIC. After about 10 km suddenly error message in the bic RDKS sensors prune. I tried for days as described in the operating instructions to learn the RDKS sensors, 10min 40-100kmh driving etc. nothing brought success. It looks the RDKS warning light for about 1 min and then it lights up permanently and it shows me no values in the BIC. abe i try to get me a learning device but also that did not bring success. My FOH only has an appointment in 2 weeks free only I am in despair. Learn which now to itself or have to initialize it the FOH by OBD can. Maybe someone knows a solution? Hello together, with my Audi A4 B8 3.0 TDI new tyres are waiting for the summer. During the dismantling I noticed that the tyres were extremely uneven – and sometimes even torn down! (see pictures). I was aware that the tyres are quite down, but I noticed the massive damage only when changing because the damage on the inside is noticeable. What could be the cause here? Fa Is there an adjustment of track and fall or is there even more behind it? I’m actually rather comfortable, clearly you take off from time to time a curve more sporty but the tires were not heated. With the new one I definitely have the chassis adjusted. For further ideas I am grateful! Greetings, Percy

Moin’, now I have a question. Friday I get my (almost) brand-new Zafira (EZ 01/17, km 3.900). On the car are aluminiums with summer tires. I plan to upgrade to all-year tires in the autumn and pull them onto the already existing rims. Do the actually still baptismal sensors have to be replaced immediately ? Never had wheels with sensors and therefore no idea. Thanks in advance for any answers.

Hello, as far as I know, the “place of unbalance” has a different effect. By this I mean on which axle the unbalanced wheel is mounted. An imbalance on the front axle should be noticeable at 80-100 km/h, 110-140 km/h is the rear axle. The boundaries vary depending on the car, but about that is how it behaves. Is there something to it, is it true?
