  • TirePear after impact hole

I had a tire breakdown last night I drove with about 60 kmh And then the road was broken off to the right and then I drove into a well 10 cm deep pothole then it hit once strongly and I thought first I had driven iwo against there but at the car body nothing to see was noticeable to me that the tire was flat and then I drove back home still good 10 km with 25 kmh, now my question you think that the cross handlebar or generally what at the steering wheel nge or so is now broken or bent? When driving, the car is pulled to the right but that was probably rather on the plate tire (front right) and when driving was usually at moderate intervals a jerking at the accident wheel like a tuk tuk tuk tuk and the faster you drove it all the more often it came in a row, is this an indication that a bearing or so is broken or was that rather on the tire, which by the way is well torn up at the side when driving has not otherwise beme rkt (swimming steering or delayed steering) but only this inclination to the right and this jerk

  • Nokian winter tires have not endured summer time

Hello together As the title already says, the winter tires of Nokian are at the end of this season.I don’t understand how some people can say that you can use winter tires even in summer and that actually only that profile takes advantage of faster…What has worn out here is not only the profile!!! All 4 tires point to the same crack that goes around the whole tire. This is located in the inside….for good luck it was noticed when parking out. r was on its way to the highway.

  • Rims and mature size on the e36 cabrio

Good morning, Since I’m only layman with regard to rims and tires the following question arises. Which rims and tires size can I drive or mount on the E36 convertible? Had a favorite and indeed it is the BMW Styling 68 rim with a tire size of 225/45 R17 and 245/40 R17. Rims 8,5J x17 EH2 ET 50 7,5J x17 EH2 ET 41 I would be very happy about a short feedback.

  • Re-enter the exchange of registered special rims/special tyres with equal dimensions?

Hello dear community, for my SEAT Leon SC the following tyres are registered as standard: 205/50 R17 93V Currently matured and separately registered is the following: 225/35 R19 93V on LM wheel Tomason 8 5JX19H2 TYPE […] My current Tomason rims are less suitable for the winter and currently only have summer tyres. I fear that the rims could be damaged by the spreading material in winter and therefore wanted to add a more suitable set in the same size. + corresponding winter tyres in the same dimensions (225/35 R19). Now my question: Do I have to register this additionally, even if the dimensions of the tyres and the measurements of the rim remain identical? In my head this would not make any sense, since I could also take every rim suitable for the standard tyres to 205/50 R17 without having to register them. But I am irritated that the rim is registered here extra incl. manufacturer, type name, etc. Dear thanks in advance! Anny

  • Ask for help to buy tires

First of all hello together, since I am looking for new summer tyres I just signed up here in the forum to get advice from people who don’t want to sell me anything 🙂 I think you can help me. First of all I give my vehicle and rims/tires data. Vehicle is VW Passat 3B Variant 1.8T Bj 1998, km stood 100780, lowering: KAW springs 40mm lower, but has become extremely low about 60mm, shock absorber Supersport, spring limiter front 30mm high, rear 50mm high Rims: RH Model AR double spokes one-piece, front 8Jx17H2 ET 35, rear 9Jx17H2 ET 30 Tires : Continental Conti Sport Contakt front 225/45 ZR 17 91V, rear 245/40 ZR 17 91V Since the tires hardly have any profile I have to buy new ones, and since I have never bought new tires I would like to be advised here. To the questions I have to the tires for the time being. – I can also drive tyres with those of the speed index and the carrying capacity I do not want to have extra costs for acceptance and registration. – in the vehicle papers it says ” only type of tyre Conti Sport Contakt because of ABS-approval. in the ABE of the rims are listed still several other tyre manufacturers which have the ABV/ABS identification. In this tyre combination the ABV/ABS identification is prescribed. What is to be understood by this and how I recognize this tyre this identification I drive max 10000km a year, mostly only short distances, and have a rather “normal” driving method, i.e. I don’t drive the vehicle in the border area, during the week my friends, beginners drive. I can’t spend any money on Supertolle tires either, thought of max 500,-Euro, since the montier is also added. I have here a few tires in closer look. What do you think about this or what kind of tires you could recommend to me.http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.d ll?…http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?…http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?…http://www.reifen.com/…/15017931http://www.reifen.com/…/15017919http://www.reifen.com/…/15053352http://www.reifen.com/…/15053368http://www.reifen.com/…/15028567http://www.reifen.com/…/15028581 I would be very grateful to you for your comments and advice mfg zimmy

  • Tyre Question Summer: Conti Sport Contact3 versus Dunlop Sport Maxx TT

Question to the municipality here. I have the opportunity to get a complete set of summer tyres at a good price. Either the Continental Sport Contact 3 or the Dunlop Sport Maxx TT. Both at the same price. Brand new. Ride a BMW 325 ti Compact. Mixed tyres. Rear 245/40R17 and front 225/45R17 Have already read the current ADAC test. Actually there are no big differences. The Conti should probably have the best values in the dry. So far also Contis on the I’m looking forward to your opinion. It’s all about these two tires. Therefore, please no other brand proposals.

  • Tissue fracture on all four tires?!

Hello, I was with my car at the VW service today, and they told me that I had broken all my 4 winter tires. He showed me the (very light) finishings. They are bad to recognize, on photos you would probably not see them. They are not bumps! Alleged reasons for breaking the fabric: * Bad tyres or * Too much air or * Too little air. The tires are Continental WinterContact T810, built in 2007 (about 10000 km). I chewed them at ATU back then. ft, and they have always been changed by ATU. I checked air every now and then (according to information in the tank cover), and the air pressure was always rather at the upper end (maximum 2,7 bar allowed, there were always about 2,5 bar inside) – I never had to refill air, the tires keep extremely tight. I was never scratched on the curb or similar, and the car was driven exclusively by me. I also can not detect any noticeable noises. A few days ago I was also problem-free with 190 km/h on the road (tires are up to 190 km/h approved). I have never driven faster. The only thing I can imagine is that the tires stored in a damp cellar for about 3 weeks a few years ago. Is it possible/probably that my good 4 winter tires have tissue fracture? Thanks Chris

  • Full-year Hankook Optimo 4S

Hello, I drive a Passat 3C Variant TDI with 140hp. 10 days ago I had two new full-year tires from Hankook (Optimo 4S) installed on the front, the two GJs from Goodyear are still on the rear. I find from the beginning of the tyre exchange that at a speed of almost 100km/h and at approx. 110km/h a resonance frequency is created, which generates an ugly buzz in the vehicle interior. With the cruise control I can adjust the speed and the sum This sounds like I’m pumping up the tunnel tire on the mountain bike and boarding it over the asphalt. At low speeds it’s absolutely quiet, at higher speeds I can’t say anything yet, because I haven’t driven a motorway yet. You can also notice that the profile blocks really want to bite into the asphalt, this makes itself unbelievably noticeable on the steering wheel. drivages with the new Hankook tire already made, or is it because of the combination tire – vehicle? Can the tire also be installed incorrectly? What reasons can still exist? Thank you for your reports. Until then, chhi-ing

  • Tyres in original equipment quality

Hi, new tyres are supposedly also available in “first equipment quality”, who knows the designations and how to refer to these tyres? Does anyone know about this topic?
