Are you still riding winter tires or summer?
I’d like to know when you’re going to do your summer tires this year, or do you already have them? I wanted to do it myself this week but if I look out of my office like this I just see snow rain

which summer tyres 2008
Hello dear BMW friends, the spring time is about to start again and I wonder what kind of summer tyres I’m going to have. I’m currently riding the 18 inch mixed tyres with Dunlop SP9000, which are absolutely awesome. I personally wanted to try something else like Pirelli, Bridgestone or Continental, but I need a tire that works well both in dry weather and wet weather, because I drive a lot of highways. What do you have for experiences or sol If you wait for some more tire tests, don’t know what new tire models are coming up this year?! Mfg Rico

Tyre bump after kerb contact
Hi guys, I’m sorry a little misadventure happened today. I probably hit the curb at about 35 km/h. Quite louder, thought first tires had burst directly. I then looked at the tire and saw that a bump has formed. Wanted to listen to your opinion about continuing to drive or not. Will definitely also visit a tire specialist tomorrow. Thank you in advance.

SPEED-GRIP 2 91 H (2016)
Good morning everyone, I didn’t want to continue an old thread now – I think, despite the same name, there should be differences in the product (otherwise, no annual car newspaper test π ). Short test of the above tyre on a SLK 230 R170, 2015/16″ Moist track: no problems up to 210 km/h (speeds == GPS information) Wet track: no problems up to 140 km/h Snow mud (city traffic): no slides (car has ASR, but no ESP). Closed snow ecke, B12 from Kempten to the west: no problems up to 120 km/h Short test with full throttle without ASR in the turn: car is very easy to intercept Certainly there are better tyres in the border area. At least as new tyres the Semperit is absolutely confident. Whether there is an extra consumption compared to summer tires could not be determined. Since the used purchase in November, the car is on winter tires, only 14 years old Hankook, and after the first tank filling then on the new Semperit (Why so late? Because then the appointment was at the tyre dealer π ). I can’t say much about the volume either. In the SLK R170 engine noises are dominant.

Different profile structure Pirelli P Zero
Hi all, I bought a set of used summer bikes for my BMW 5 Series F11 Touring privately. HA: Pirelli P Zero 275/30 ZR20 97Y VA: Pirelli P Zero 245/35 ZR20 95Y Everything was nice and good, only a front tyre was replaced (the seller also said so) and I did not notice when buying that the new tire has a different profile structure, it are both Pirelli P Zero 245/35 ZR20 95Y but the new tire seems to be the new 2016 generation P Zero. a Worry that the tyres react a lot differently in wet conditions on the AB, etc. or is this to be neglected? The one tire is brand new and the other one has about 6mm profile. Here is a picture. Thanks for the answers

Winter tyres for Skoda Fabia
Hello, I’m looking for a suitable winter tire for a Skoda Fabia 2 Dimension 195/55/15 car is mainly moved between Vienna and Styria. Approx. 5000 to 7000km per season Often wintery roadway, with mostly salt wet. Normal I am a friend of premium brands. However, the size is extremely different. Premium brands cost between 85 and 105β¬ without mounting. I have now looked out for following middle class tires. – Semperit Speed Grip 3 (in Γsterre 63β¬ – Hankook Winter icept RS2 63β¬ It would also be interesting that the tire does not harden too quickly. It should last 5 winter again π – Firestone Winterhowk 4 66β¬ – Glue Krisalp HP3 69β¬ Semperit tires I already had a few times, was quite ok, but could not keep up with Michelin or Goodyear. Hankook I know of summer tires, was pleasantly surprised how well they beat each other. Firestone and glue I never had before.

Are Kumho tires recommended?
Tach, need 4 new summer tires for my focus 2 in size 225/45 R18, since the kumhos are the cheapest if you don’t like the kram like nankang, marshal etc.. Are kumhos to be recommended in size? Or better invest a little more in others? Would you be nice if you could write something about it mFg
