Servus together!!! After I am absolutely annoyed by our Vaneo, because we have to get the rims/tires to balance each year and also the other vehicles (wheels/tires) in the family every now and then to balance out and that goes over the years quite nicely into ́s money, I thought myself to buy a balancing machine. After I hold from this China stuff quite little to nothing – please no tips on this. I actually did not want to like 1000 anymore. I have now found myself in one of these machines, but I don’t know if the price/performance ratio is right, because they are only offered for “purchase immediately”. On the one hand: http://www.ebay.de/itm/tire balancing machine-grower-Hofmann-Geodyna-5001-2-/160767438762?pt=Special_Tools&hash=item256e7c6faa on the other: http://www.ebay.de/itm/tire balancing machine-grower-Hofmann-Geodyna-5001-/310393227089?pt=Spezial_Tools&hash= item4844e0c751 Does any of you know what the difference between the Geodyna 5001 and the Geodyna 5001-2 is??? What do you say about the number of measurement runs???? Differently asked, what do you think of this machine at all or are there cheaper/better alternatives????For your answers I would like to thank you in advance.

Winter tyre recommendation 185/65 R15
Hello, Which tyres can you recommend? I have the Fulda Kristal Montero3 on my vehicle at the moment. Were actually quite ok in winter, and also the price with approx. 45€ the piece works fine. However, I need now two new tyres. Since the tyre tests in the net are very different or are mostly tested in sizes of 205/55 R16 I ask here. The following tyres I have already pulled into the narrow selection. Fulda Kristall Montero 3 Nokian WR D4 Vrede setein Snowtrac 3 Goodyear Ultragrip 9 Uniroyal MS Pluss 77. Does anyone have experience? I tend to be more like Goodyear Ultragrip9 or Nokian WR D4. Can also suggest something else. Mfg Jens

Durable summer meals
After I fell on my face at the ContiSportContact 5 (SP5):http://www.motor-talk.de/forum/reifenwahl-und-druck-t5473191.html I am looking for new summer tires. The SP5 are for ~15Tkm through. Down on <2mm, completely strangely worn out profile, very loud, hardly keeps the track and vibrates very strongly. I measured the axle all in all 3x this year and let 4x the tires fine balanced because the vibrations did not go away and the car did not want to drive straight ahead. With the new Winte At the moment, the prices seem to be good, so I'm thinking about buying a new set for my all-wheel Audi. 225/40 R18 92V I need. When I read ADAC test reports, the Conti SportContact5 (even if it's other dimensions) are always top, but according to my experience I can hardly believe it. In any case, I want to leave Conti this time. Since I'm a middle & long distance driver in the Nordic lowlands i ch mostly only AB and straight ahead without full throttle drives. So this time I tend to tire with an extremely low rolling resistance also in the hope that these last longer. I tend to: Good Year Efficient Grip Performance Satte 30€ more affordable/tire than my SP5 cost a year ago.

245 tyres on Seat Leon x-perience 4drive 1.8 petrol 180 hp or 2.0 TDI 184 hp
Hello together ! Has anyone of you tried to equip his x-perience 4drive 1.8 petrol or 2.0 TDI 184 hp with 245 tyres. If I have found expert reports, whether German or Austrian expert reports, there are always conditions (code numbers) with fender spreads e.g. bördelarbeiten and so something connected, or does that then only possibly produce the free-access, or. test, which would then be meant by it !? On the Internet for the x-perience 17 – 20 Inch even 245 tyres offered ! At 17″ e.g. 245/45 R17 even ! It is only not there with which rim and whether there are runs on the part of the Tüv. With the renomated tires, – resp. rim suppliers in the net you can usually only choose up to 225 tyres, with the wheel – tire combinations ! Has anyone had experience with it to get 245 tyres on the x-perience ? Many greetings, OliOla

Dealer puff, false tires sold
Moinmoin! Had ordered a set of summer tyres from a (allegedly) serous local tyre dealer (205/50/R17). In the sales interview various manufacturers and types were offered at similar prices. Among other things goodyear OPTIGRIP, which is marked with E/C, why he and others were rejected, because I drive a lot of kilometers and consumption is a criterion. In the course of the conversation also the goodyear EFFICIENC with B/A was offered, which was ordered thereon. e “because they drive a lot makes the most sense” (because of B/A-identification). The tyres were mounted on it, I had delivered the rims before. At home on the invoice I had to find out, these have E/C identification and not B/A. The type is indicated with goodear OPTIGRIP. The ordered goodyear with B/A would have been the EFFICIENC GRIP PREFORMANCE. Two hours later complaint on site, dealer apologizes it would have been no intention, the OPTI would have been a top tyre and points out with test from 2009. The objection he would have mounted the wrong tire with “have they already driven, it certainly rolls well” and other blablabla. He was not willing to respond to the complaint, brought tests with OPTI GRIP against the (old 2008) Efficienc GRIP, whereby the ordered B/A type should be a current Efficienc GRIP PERFORMANCE. I have now set a time limit in writing to keep the originally ordered tires ready for assembly and an appointment anz In the meantime, the vehicle is used daily. Simply NERVIG such a thing, so ALWAYS insist on a written order confirmation, with which one does not have to lament around afterwards and then goes to the lawyer.

Radinox rim “shit”?
Hi I looked at these indestructible radinox wheels today. What they claim is technically technically impossible. Because if they should be so hard they are at the same time very brittle similar to glass that is called they would break immediately. So unscattered scratcher in the rim or a cracked. Am I right? mfg

Advice on tyre purchase dubious in the forum!?
So dear community! Tyre advice looks like this in principle. Someone asks for recommendations and almost always the standard answer is “take the test winner or premium in the high-priced segment zack ready”. Is this good advice? No! Often you don’t even know which vehicle it is and how the vehicle condition is or does not know the financial situation. That would be the first thing you ask about because that’s how good advice starts and not otherwise. An example: What does it bring? buy the test winner in question if the car is technically sucked out or does it drive bad brakes? Then the tyres for the rear and the great test winners with their good braking paths are thrown open. In this case, cheaper tyres and my recommendation to put the rest in order. Because then the financial means are usually limited is obvious when the vehicle is treated so badly. Just one example of many. Furthermore, one asks The vehicle is also used for what in advance. Pure city car, much or little on the road or in winter for example which region. So you ask before you give a recommendation and already a certain order prevails. Only the most expensive offering without any background information is no advice, then this person can go straight to the tyre dealer and get exactly this answer. That is not the concern when people turn to you here and that should make clear to everyone . Just in advance! I won’t lose another word here on this topic that I guarantee you even. Whoever wants to stamp these arguments as gossip please do not force you. Here you can discuss it until your fingers fall off and I am very curious like others see that. I read at least diligently and with great interest with you. Also this flat-rate knock on it without knowledge and basis as soon as someone something favorable not to everyone known about tire types sp My word about it! Addendum: It’s not about me, I never asked for a consultation here. It’s about the general state of consultation in the forum and not about China tires! I removed that with elite troupe at the beginning of my contribution once. Because this certainly shouldn’t provoke anyone… Mfg Andy

Summer tire, is that correct?
Speaking of another question, I got my new CLS c257 with summer tires. Everything was good and nice. I ordered winter tires and sent them to the car dealership and they should switch from summer to winter tires. Summer tires should come to me with UPS / DPD afterwards. Today the tires were with me. What surprised me was the front tire with DOT 5317 and rear with DOT 0118 / 0218. First registration of car is 09.2018. Is anything possible at all or the car dealership has cheated something? Yours sincerely,

Experiences GJR 18″ Klebér Quadraxer2 vs. Michelin Crossclimate + vs. Goodyear Vector G2
Does anyone have experience with the tyres? the Michelin CC (without +) I had on the Bora in 205/55R16 and found the actually very good regarding adhesion. Is probably rather “summer tyre heavy” from the design and on snow not quite so good. If I look at the last years so we rarely have to never really snow here on the road. The Klebér should also be quite good, but probably even better on snow and wetness and a little cheaper in the acquisition Goodyear is probably more Winterlas The new Conti is probably not available in the dimension 235/45R18 (?) Please don’t start a fundamental discussion pro/contra GJR. I’m particularly interested in experience reports and as far as possible in dimensions }205 tyre width and }16″ rim size. The ADAC results regarding the performance of the 175 formats are not really interesting to me. Apart from that, ADAC and his meaningful “tests” and awards… From the gut feeling I tend to the CC+ only the announced snowy winter irritates me a bit
