Hello all, a few more tkm then it’s time and I need new tires. At least for the drive axle. (Auris 2.0D Exe. mileage 21.000 km) My standard tire is the Yokohama AVS V550 205/55/16 91V If I look at the prices does not do much between Michelin, Bridgestone, Yokohama, Good-year, Conti etc. I’m not sure if I should take Yokohama again or try something else?!? What do you have for series tyres?? Who has experience with Michelin and Co. in size?? Is so’n spare tire (light running) interesting?? Would I be happy about tips and suggestions. So long Patrick

  • Summer time = saw tooth time?? (Experience Dunlop SP Sport Fastresponse)

Hello municipality of the winter tends to end and it will be time to pull up the summer tires. Unfortunately I have with my used summer flaps “pirelli P6” saw tooth formation and the inner noise resembles rather a tank (druff, whimpering). To drive with the winter tires (Goodyear UG7) it was a benefit for my ears. The latest tire test (ADAC) is little to use, since the criterion “saw tooth formation” is never tested. Lt. friend tyre dealers tend conti and michelin(probably rs at Audi) to sawtooth. Don’t know what to buy now. ——->Can anyone recommend me a summer tire 215/55 R16 for the Veci the 1. has as little inclination as possible to sawtooth 2. associated low rolling noise/quietness is 3. relatively low wear 4-99: rest no matter ????? ——->has someone experience with “Dunlop SP Sport Fastresponse”(according to ADAC quiet rolling noise, no V-profile) ????

  • R14 on R13?

I have a few short and pretty stupid questions, which Google could not really answer after a long search…I’m totally layer The specialists here can answer this right away. It’s a Corsa C Bj.02 (1.0), on which previously 175 65 R14 tyres were on it. For the Corsa C (1.0) there is the 5Jx13 steel rim and the 5.5Jx14 steel rim, is that so far correct? My real question is: Is it theoretically possible that it is a 5Jx13 stah I don’t know. My question is that it’s not possible at all, so for the “tire assembler” (workshop) who pulls the tires onto the rim it’s sunny clear or can he also overlook what and put the 14″ tires on a 13″ rim without seeing anything big? And another small question…do I have a chance to see which dimens in a mounted condition? is it the 5Jx13 or the 5.5Jx14? Possibly by measuring if I remove the wheel caps?

  • New tires, which load do I need??

Hello guys, I’m looking for a set of new summer tyres, but I’m not sure which load I need on the tyres so on the rim itself stands a load of 690 kg, for info there are 19 customs, VA 225/35 ZR 19 HA 255/30 ZR 19 Before I had Dunlop sportmaxx and would now like to take the new Conti Sport contact 5p, but it stands at this mature everywhere only 91 load, in the driving license there is also 91 load but just another mature and inches dimen , what do I have to pay close attention to now? • Winter tyres Jaguar XE

I’m looking for the right winter tire for the XE (255 rear, 225 front). As I’m on the road in the Rhineland Snow and smoothness in winter are not quite so relevant to me My driving shares: – 60% highway – 30% city – 10% rest Important in this order: – low running noise – good on wetness + aquaplaning – good on dry ground – snow & smoothness Thank you very much in advance

  • Leao Nova Force 215/45 R18 93W or what alternative?

Moin Together, need for my Mazda 6 original. Rims after the session new summer flaps or maybe GJR’s? The good one is now 14 years old and unfortunately already has the Mazda-typical rust approaches… From my side difficult to say if he will pack the TÜV in 1.4 years, whereby I really want to save it already for a few years!!! Therefore the tires should be as cheap as possible without all too many smears in terms of safety, rolling noise and who If we drive it even longer, the mileage would not be negligible! We drive less inner city, mixed colorfully on the AB’s, road / federal/ country roads, rarely over straightening speed, definitely no Vmax… Currently 20,000km/year, but as soon as our 18 year old polo has to leave us it will be up to 35,000 but rather 30… I’m looking at the comparison of the Leao Nova Force 215/45 R18 93W, the test scores are not so bad, despite 17th place?! And a bunch of unknown people in the lower price segment… Winterpneu’s are about 6mm, it’s still a bit of something, but if I have to invest there again in 3 years -,- so maybe all weather is right? But the ghosts are getting even more apart, it’s definitely not going to be cheap… Who has experience with similar size?? Greetings Mopedcruiser

  • King rims 7x15H2 on Opel Kadett E

Good day, I found a set of King rims with KBA number (Yes, found) and would like to drive them on my cadet E. The thing is that the rims according to my “research” were intended for the BMW E30 and thus have a larger scar diameter (for which there are centrings) What I come to the actual question, can I drive the rims LEGAL on the cadet? And if yes (from where I come from) I need some papers for this or can I just use it for the TÜV nozzle n and have them entered? Please find more information about the rims in the pictures I am looking forward to helpful answers

  • Replacement for trailer tyres 75r14 re-encryption

Hello, I’m new here. Have an older car trailer (Bj 78) with an acceptable total weight of 800kg. In the vehicle license is the tyre size 75R14. However, this is no longer available. Mounted are 185/60/R14 82H. At the main examination at GTÜ it was criticized that the tyres are not allowed. Where can I find a permissible spare size? I found nothing suitable.
