Dear community, I have seen a Dodge Challenger model in person in Berlin today at a dealer. There were several challengers on the parking lot. They were mostly new cars. However, I noticed that I was German visible on a specimen that I liked on the rims rust. Now I wanted to know if the bad thing is. Of course I know that you can remove rust on the rims with appropriate means/solutions but I have read I’d like to hear your experiences about when rust can become dangerous or if it never happens and you don’t have to worry about it. I’d be very happy if you could share your experience with me. Otherwise I’d like to thank you very much for the fact that it’s always important how far the rust has already prevailed on the metal. Rab and welcome you. Greetings to Alle aus Berlin

Nexen N3000 – Cheap tyres = bad?
Hello municipality, does someone have experiences with the Nexen N3000 tire (225/45 R17 91 W)? I am currently looking for good and perhaps also relatively cheap summer tires. At first I wanted to get the Uniroyal RainSport. ATU has the offer until 31.03.2006 (purchase 4 number 3…); have also done well with the ADAC test. Now I researched something on the Internet and came across the Nexen N3000.reifen.com Hammerpreis (was my first thought)! … but somehow too cheap, truesc So 100,- € you should already lie down for a tire. Then I came across a few positive reviewsTyre test Hmmmmmmm…. What do you think of it? Greetings.

Stopped with false track plates
So I mounted on my golf 3 wider track plates before were 5mm in front and on the back (they are also registered) then yesterday 10mm in front and 15mm in the back per page mounted. So I wanted to register the parts directly to the tuev… was there shortly before the party and even a snake is to the driveway. There gave me the ne visit card and thought I should come again tomorrow. Yes I did not think about it and then drove to work with it this morning. the way back I was then stopped… They only thought they would take control because of deep, wide, loud…. Yes was also almost everything in order until the then came to the idea to measure my track records… At the end came out defect card, display, 3 points penalty etc. Now my question is so right because I wanted to do so… and my second problem.: I am still in the already extended trial time…is already called me a post-training behind me. Chnelle answer. Thanks mfg lukas

Are 18 inch wheels possible when 19 inch series?
The Audi Q5 is delivered by Audi with 17, 18, 19 or 20 inch wheels; depending on the engine, equipment packages and special equipment. The “small” engines come as standard with 17 inch, the larger with 18 inch. The S Line sports package includes the 19 inch wheels. I have ordered an Audi Q5 3.0 TDI with S-Line sports package, i.e. 19 inch wheels. Now I stumble over an edition in an 18 inch rim from the accessories: Wheel type: SAT 11 8×18, e.g. Cardesign LS11 Au flage for the Q5: “The use of this wheel size is not permitted on vehicle versions, which are equipped with at least 19-inch wheels as standard.” Who knows: – What is a vehicle version? – Can I generally not equip the ordered car with 18-inch wheels (e.g. for the winter)? – Or does this statement specifically refer to this one rim?

Ebay Tire Fraud
servus guys, I think I’ve been cut a little bit ago I bought rims and tires at the bay. But look at the description here myself. According to the description I now assumed that the tires are still good, so it comes over anyway when you read the whole thing. Unfortunately I got 9 years old, porous and hard mature. They already feel like plastic. What do you think about it? Try to settle the matter fairly with the seller, but unfortunately no A. answer to my e-mails. Only a reaction that I should make the payment, but which is already done 10 days ago. Traffic law protection I would have yes, but as I said, the thing wants to have done fair and friendly

Help! Macking in new rim! Not even 1 km driven!
Hello you guys, as you might see, I’m pretty new here. But read articles from Motor Talk for quite a long time. Now I have a problem: I ordered rims that I got mounted yesterday. Was totally happy that I could afford rims, because as a student you don’t have the money so thick. When they had then mounted the rims, I looked at them and saw that they were already quite dirty. So drive to the next washing system and as ic h got off to buy the card, I see that there are already some flaws on a rim. But I didn’t even drive half a kilometer with them yet! Thought first that it would be dirt, but when I looked at the washing machine again I saw that it was really macking. So I went back to the tyre dealer, however, he said that the macaws could not come by any way from the assembly. That would be quite untypical places. There would be a stone or something like that. (The funny thing is that the makings are arranged radially and 2 spokes are unharmed)! I tried to explain to him then that so Macken can not cause a stone (see photos) , but he did not want to admit to me a montage mistake. When I was at the sport in the evening I spoke again with a car master. He also looked at the macaws and said something would happen if one had used a wrong essay, the essay for a steel rim. So I went there again today, but again no success. The mistake would not be with them. I would have had a lot of bad luck. But I didn’t drive even 1 km with it. In my opinion, the factory town screwed it up, but doesn’t want to admit it… What do you think I could do there? After all, a rim cost 98 € and for me already a lot of money! I am very grateful for your advice! (I can also send the pictures again in the original size by mail or so)

Unknown tire cutter leaves special imprint on tyre flank – expert advice needed-
Hi community, with us for months a tire cutter phantom drives its mess. Victims are randomly selected cars. Special feature: Around the puncture point is a radial imprint, slightly spiral-shaped. Unusual is the permanent deformation of the rubber. Ask the experts, what could cause such a print? Best regards, Danny

What danger for old tires?
Hi, I got my hands on 2 tires Dunlop SP Sport 2000 in 225/60 15, which I would like to drive on the VW bus (pure summer vehicle, but also at times highway up to 180km/h, annual driving power 2000km). Profile still brand new, but the tires are 11 years old. What risk do I take with this exactly? Nettle characteristics are almost irrelevant, since the car is not moved in the rain. How does it look with braking characteristics? The rubber could be a bit hard (comfort does not matter, is 90mm deeper… , there is not much more with comfort…). The tire is identical to the mounted ones, of which 2 (from 2003) still have 4-5mm. Where should I drive the “new” ones? Usually yes the better ones to the rear (except: rear drive), but does this also apply in case the tires are old and rather a little harder? I also know that I should put the tires in the garbage bin best. But let’s leave the option outside before… I am grateful for tips.

Landsail LS 388 225/55ZR18 102W XL How long does it last?
Hello, we need 2 new car tires, Hankook Optimo K415 225/55 R18 on it, 2 of them are nothing more worth. Since we can not spend so much, I discovered the Landsail LS 388 225/55ZR18 102W XL. He has tyre label both b, that is already good and only 73€. However, I did not find any reviews for it. We drive relatively much 25000km/year, after 2 seasons the tires have always driven off. Now I wonder if the Landsail tires also pass through the 2 years I didn’t want to spend more than 90€ per tire. What do you think?

Fulda Multicontrol 195/55R16 no Alpine symbol?
I had put together rims and GJR at Quick earlier. I noticed, however, that the above-mentioned tyres are not listed with the 3-peak symbol, but other tyres are. Can that be? I thought all GJRs had to have this since this year?
