  • What tires do I have?

Good day, maybe I’m a bit too stupid, but which tyres exactly do I have? Find there several generations and also 2 times the same tire 205/55 R16 94V, the same name but one of them has wet grip E and the other C….. I don’t understand. Need 2 new tyres on the front axle, because the profile is runer. Does it offer to take the same ones that are also back?!

  • In which season buy new winter tires

Hello The winter tires on my wife’s polo are now driving for their last season (5 years old). So it’s time for new ones next winter. Question: When is it best to buy the new ones? Shortly after the end of the winter season, in the middle of summer, early autumn or “in the hot phase” when everyone notes “Hoppla, I need winter tires”?

  • SoTyres: 245/35/19: Hankook S1 evo or Falken 452 ?

Merry Christmas, Leutz I just want to order new SoMatures. Size 245/35/19 Ride Hankook S1 evo already for years, am actually satisfied. But think for “sleep reasons” to test sometimes the narrower failed FALK. Please your opinion, which would you take, but a) the extra price of 100.- EU for the S1 is wurst b) please no recommendations, however, as Pirelli is better …. Gruss RS

  • Price for balancing the tyres

Hello together, after I have bought a manual tire replacement machine from Gaither and so that I myself have raised the new tires in order to save as much as possible, I want to have the four wheels balanced out by the workshop, because this cannot be done without the use of the expensive tire balancing machine itself. I therefore wonder what kind of work can be required by the tyre fitter. I also wanted to know how lukewarm, or better to say: how many minutes so much a job can be done. The workshops usually have their fixed prices, which however include tyre assembly. The costs for intermediate activities, such as balancing, are not apparent. Can the workshops therefore at all exaggerate and only demand the price for balancing, which includes the complete work, among other things, tyre assembly? Many greetings

  • Fulda Crystal Montero

Moin dear members, it is time for new winter tires.. and after I received so with my summer tires here valuable tips for which I am extremely grateful I wanted to ask you what you think of the above-mentioned Fulda tires. It is about the size 155 70 13R for a Renault Clio Bj 1997. Stiftung Warentest recommends you.. what does the practice say ? I fluctuate between those ( due to the favorable price 35€ / per tire) and the Continental Winter Contact – this cost at least 43 p/tires. What would you recommend me – or better 4 used ? Thanks and greetings !

  • Used tires .

Hello friends. A former work colleague of mine made his own at the time. He opened one on and sale with née tires, right next to 3 big junkyards. Everyone who comes can think where he gets his tires. When I see what comes mainly for customers, I must be surprised. BMW 5 he, Mercedes E class. Many people with thick cars and also others. Drive thick carts and no coal for new tires. How do you think about it? Mfg Reo M 35

  • Sawtooth profile – how does that come about?

A meal! A question: how does a saw number profile develop in a tire? Question because my vehicle seems to have a saw number profile on the front axle again and again. According to my dealer, the axle adjustment is correct in the front and not adjustable in the rear. The car does not pull in all directions, and the saw tooth profile appears about every 20-25tkm… How can this happen? I think I’m right here, because tires -> saw number profile -> You can also develop hi he asks thanks and greetings Damien aka DDD

  • OZ Superturismo 16: 2 wheel bolt holes almost “through” / Mini R56

Hello together, since since the last wheel change from summer to winter it is constantly poltert on the rear axle, I took off the winter tires today and put the summer tires on it again. 2 out of 4 screws were deeper than the others after the assembly OK, wheel down again and then saw that. 2 holes are basically almost through, it seems as if one has worked the holes afterwards with a sink drill For me now the question is where this comes from. a) I ha be the tires always changed themselves and with the prescribed torque of 130 NM attracted by OZ according to the report b) in 07/2012 the vehicle was during the inspection. – There was a brake fluid change. Do the wheels have to go down? – Cable wheel speed sensor back left was suspended. Do the wheels have to put down to mount that again? The original wheels have to be tightened with 140 NM!? If it comes from the dealer, it will surely be impossible for him since Thank you for the relevant information.

  • How do I find the right rim size? Twingo Expression

Hello, could someone help me? I drive the new Twingo.. BJ 2012 and would like to buy new rims for the summer.. Now I have to know, however, which size I have to look for.. Have already looked at tire outlet etc.. But if I want to look there my car, this ends with that I claim that it is type N.. But type N are all from BJ 2007 and thus a lot of rims with different widths and indentation depths are displayed to me.. How do I ever know, how do I ever know? can I check this somewhere? If I want to enter the key number on such pages, it does not fit because it is too long.. so to 2.2 Unfortunately, I haven’t found a helpful answer yet.
