  • 99er Laguna 1, 1.6 16V, timing belt changed – valves crooked

Hello dear Lagunafreaks, I have a big problem where I need your help. Since my Laguna Grandtour was about to change the timing belt, I had it renewed in a private workshop including water pump and pulleys. After the assembly and the first test run in the workshop, it popped once and two outlet valves on the second cylinder were crooked. The workshop took the cylinder head, ern. the two valves and rebuilt everything again. Since then I have a light restless idle, another brighter noise when gasing and the gear lever and engine vibrate. Furthermore, I have just found that if I switch on a larger consumer ( rear window heating, ventilation etc. ) in idle, the car almost goes off and then re-applys again. The workshop says that it will be okay. since the parts have to play in. Now my question, is this statement correct or does one want to ask me only calmly???!!!!

  • Bluetooth hands-free in Laguna III

Hello together, I have to buy a new mobile phone and drive a Laguna III with Carminat 2 Bluetooth. I have already tried some mobile phones, calls over Bluetooth also works —– BUT I can not access the address book in the mobile phone. That makes no sense! Allegedly there should be Renault which. Renault however remains silent about which and also does not even know which requirements the mobile phone must meet. (e.g. operating system, etc.) dont you recommend me mobile phones where access to the address book works without problems? Thank you for your efforts.

  • Report: Laguna Grandtour Exception 2.0 16V

Servus, I was on the road from Friday to today (Monday) with about 1,000km above all vehicle and wanted to give a short review. + very nice design inside and outside (pers. opinion) + lots of space in front and in the rear + light and rich closing doors + gripped leather steering wheel + pleasant leather/Alcantara cover + potholes and short bumps are perfectly absorbed + cruise control and BC easy to operate + rain and light sensor work excellent + navigation messages absolutely excellent t + good light + parking aid does great + overall very good equipment – very limp engine – roars at high speeds – total consumption according to BC 10.8l/100km (without frenzy) – seats on long distances much too soft – Navi and radio cumbersome to operate – poor sound quality – trunk not particularly large with the vehicle length – driving behaviour spongy and unexact – suspension swings on floor waves after – strong lateral inclination in curves – far too long switching distances – air conditioning pushes too much planlessly and pulls a lot of engine power – the automatic handbrake doesn’t always check when to let go – the headrests don’t really tilt forward All in all I would say that I would like to call the car with sports suspension and strong diesel my own, but so unfortunately the negative points prevail. How do you see that? – senseless keycard, because far too big for the trouser pocket

  • Question about panoramic roof and radio + climate at Laguna 3

Hello together, I got my Laguna 3 Grandtour Gt this week. However, I noticed a few peculiarities and I wanted to ask if these are normal: – Panorama roof opens and excludes only at engine run and not already at ignition – air conditioning is sporatically off when I start the engine – also (at the same time to the above mentioned error) the buffered transmitters and the audio settings are discarded. In addition, to the tested mode is to me l, which actually has only a different color and no panoramic roof, noticed that the skilful additional flap in the loading floor, as well as the spectacle holder on the driver’s side instead of the handle, is not available. Are the errors well known and there are remedies or do I have to bring my car back to the workshop after 3 days??? Thank you Greetings from the sunny south Thomas

  • J.D. Power 2010 – Laguna III

Hello Laguna III Driver, don’t be disappointed if the Laguna III will not be at the top of his class in Germany this year. In England he landed this year in second last place in his class (11/12) and in France as third last of his class (5/7). Mogeln (J.D. Power 2010) just has short legs…… Always good drive. Your Poloman.

  • Buying a car……Renault Laguna 2 or Peugot 407

Hello, at the moment I drive a Laguna 1 Grandtour, 11years old. Since I need the car now daily and the car already has some defects I wanted to buy another used one now. Budget max. 10000,-Euro. Now I like the following models of the optical quite well…. Peugeot 407 or Renault Laguna 2. Both as a combi, I am not yet clear about the motorization, however, should be a diesel with a Russian filter and a little over 100hp I think. Which engines n can be recommended? Well my question, are there any defects/weaknesses in these models what you have to pay attention to? Which car might be more recommended? Thanks for your tips….. Lars

  • Steering cracks

Hello together a few weeks ago it first occurred. I (woman *g*) had taken my Laguna 1.6 – 16 V Bj 2000 Grandtour in a slope and the steering (in the stand – yes I know … my husband has already mottled ) very strongly. After that I heard it for the first time. In the stand, while driving and steering or when ranking the steering cracks. Right as well as left. (When I heard it the first time I thought of a spring that is spanned and then over the point and I always feel that it always happens in the same place. Strangely it was 3-4 weeks away and is now back and I mean it has become significantly more. I noticed that it is partly cracking when driving over a curb or changing load. I hope it is to understand – because I don’t know how to describe it at all. Steering has no game and power steering is normal – so not heavier or so. When driving normally listen And the steering does not make any noises except the cracking! In the summer we had a damage to the steering gear or the 2 cables we replaced. One of the pipes was rusted through and the oil was looking for its way into freedom. GSD at home so the nothing happened. But can it be zb that the rack has to be greased? An acquaintance said he had the one thing l had …. Has anyone had similar experiences or a tip ? Lg Anke

  • Laguna II 1.9 DCi – P1125 Charge pressure solenoid valve quantity too large

Hello to everyone, I hope I’m right here and someone has already solved this problem. Half a year ago I bought the Laguna II. After a month the turbocharger gave up (injection error lamp lit). Mechanic then found that the AGR was also plugged off. (Probably to get more power?) Then I had the complete Turbo and the AGR replaced. After exchange everything worked out wonderfully. On the way home from the I then drove about 160 km/h on holiday and once again an error message jumps up (injection system lamp). Then I got away from the gas and see the lamp goes out. When I was back the error message went again and again. So in every speed range. Error memory returned: P1125 charge pressure solenoid valve quantity too large. I then changed the charge pressure solenoid valve (which hangs on the left top). Then I actually got the error message only in the lower speed range. So we When the engine is cold, 1/4 gas is enough. Next I changed the charging pressure sensor. Unfortunately, the same thing again. I really don’t know any more. With the mechanic I drove the test and he connected his device. We found out when you accelerated and then let go of the gas the charge pressure deviation jumps briefly to approx. 6000 kPA and then to a 1-digit value. Sincerely.

  • Laguna II,Compressor of air conditioning switches off the 2500 revolutions

With my Renault Laguna 2, year 2003, 2.0, 99Kw, Km 78000, the condenser, dryer and throttle of the air conditioning system was recently renewed. The condenser had become leaky, so that coolant leaked out. After that the system worked again perfectly, until I then found that from an engine turntable of 2500 the compressor is on display. If the speed falls again below the value, the compressor starts up again automatically. Even Bosch and Renault have been puzzled since L It is tapped that the switch-off signal is generated either from the climate electronics or the motor control. Does anyone have an idea? Thank you

  • Diagnostic software for Laguna II

Hello, I am looking for a PC-compatible software with which I can program my Laguna II. It is not about tacho manipulations, but about things like “winter wheels with tyre pressure control valves” read in or other options of the vehicle system like “storing the seat position”. Renault workshops have such a programmer, which is however to cost the 5 Mille (EUR) so. With my Grandtour 1.9dCi Initiale (9/2001) had to already A lot of things are exchanged and the Renault technicians are obviously overwhelmed by this, because then options are adjusted or deleted that I need. And run into the workshop every time because I noticed something in the factory (such as the deletion of my winter bikes programmed in autumn 2001 for example), is too annoying for me in the long run… Does someone have experiences or a tip for me? Thanks in advance.
