  • Automatic air conditioning Laguna K 56

Hello everyone, for a long time the automatic air conditioning system has been spinning in my ́96 he Laguna (1.8 RT) : Sometimes it works for days – yes for weeks without problems, suddenly it doesn’t want any more. (I had already posted here last summer – maybe one or the other still remembers…). Last year I had started the following experiments : pressure switch and dryer bottle renewed, refrigerant drained and refilled, operating element renewed (fairly said, The operating element (actually both…) was tested for cold soldering points, several workshop visits (both at Renault and at Bosch) survived (there was actually only my wallet evacuated), and at some point, when I had given up all hope (it was also slowly autumn and the air conditioning was no longer sooooo necessary…) it worked again, until… well, until it was in the last week of the year. I am in the end with my Latin – do you have advice ?? Thank you for your answers, a sweaty Tilliman

  • Interior lighting in the Renault 21

Hello! Since my Renault is already as good as it is, it does not yet have an internal light automatic, which lights up a while after the door has been opened. So the light goes out immediately, when you turn the door shut! I have already built a circuit that allows me to still let the light shine longer! My question now is how I can access the plus cable from the lamp, the door contact cable and the ignition cable without having to destroy the car before! I don’t know at all, where these cables run in the car! Please help!!!! mfg Gertsch

  • ESP disturbed, injector defective

Hello dear friends, my Renault Laguna Grandtour (IDE) is only having problems.I don’t like to drive it any more, although we’ve been friends for nine years. Four weeks ago it appears in the display: “ESP disturbed, injector defective”, emergency running program, after every reset, i.e. restart, the same problem. So, off on the tow truck to the workshop, petrol filter replaced, until today all BESTENS. Well, today the same problem as described above. Now towed by rope, suddenly the electronics failed. WHAT has my car for problem with the injector? That can’t be due to the additives, I’ve filled nine years of super. BITTE, I need your help, tips, suggestions. I’m getting really desperate. Many thanks for your, hopefully numerous answers.

  • New Laguna III car

Hello, I am currently driving a Laguna III Grandtour Dynamique 2.0 dCi, which I leased for 4 years. In August the four years are over and I have to look around for a new car. Since I had no problems with the car and I still liked it, I would consider a new leasing for 36 months. Again Grandtour with 2 ltr Diesel as Bose Edition. How is the situation at the moment during price negotiations? My present was at that time very cheap and only about 20 €/month expensive as an average megane. How does this stand out today? Must Renault at the time still offer favorable conditions to “lose” the Laguna? Since my dealer also has Nissan and Dacia in the program, would be alternatives (for me): an equivalent equipped Nissan Qashqai +2 or a Dacia Duster Delsey.

  • Comparison Renault Laguna Grandtour GT 180 FAP and A4 Avant

Hello everyone, I’m thinking about whether I might change from my A4 Avant ambition with 170hp TDI and quattro to the above mentioned vehicle. I also have a test drive next Saturday, but unfortunately only with the 150hp dci. Now my question: are there users among you who have the direct comparison between the two vehicles? Based on consumption (I drive my 7.5l/100Km), noise scenery, power development / rotational capacity, acceleration itself? I have thought and that the engine is not enough, or that I notice the difference, because I am very quick to drive through the four-wheel drive. Also in the top speed it is 7Km/h less again (I know that doesn’t matter the world out). In relation to the leasing rate I am of course a whole piece under the, of the A4. I drive a lot of 40TKm a year. Thank you for your answers Equivis

  • Noise level Interior Laguna III

Hello together, as I have read in many forums, most Laguna III owners say, the car is very quiet. With me it is not the case. I hear all the noises from the outside as clearly, almost as with the open window. So that you get an idea some points. Everything naturally with closed window and while driving: – Steps of the passers-by that cross the road at the traffic light are clearly heard. – Sometimes I choke at the traffic light when starting the engine, because I d He hears other engines more than mine. – 2 times in accidents on the highway I first heard the fire brigade, I slowly drove to the side and was overtaken by other vehicles because they have not heard anything yet – On the A52 of Essen just before Düsseldorf, I hear the planes that have their landing approach. At 130-140 km/h. – I hear even from 50m distance the door lock when someone gets into his car. The workshop says that this is normal with this car. I get l I think I’ll take a lawyer who will write to Renault-Germany. Maybe they will then examine the vehicle. I’ve noticed something myself and I have to ask you. Do you have a seal on the front doors between the door and the B-pillar at window height? Not in the frame, but at the door. If not, why is there a metal guide there, as if a seal would fit? In the appendix a picture. I’d be grateful about every answer Gruss

  • Laguna III 100,000KM continuous test

It’s time for all car magazines to test him in the long run, some even over 150,000KM to check the promised quality progress. Now the car magazine broke the 100,000KM and released the test on Wednesday ( Grandtour Dci 173 Initiale ). And apparently Renault kept his promise. Except for a defective temperature sensor in the interior (guarantee) there was nothing. Also tires and brake wear are absolutely fine. Negative is also only a cracking in the armat In this sense, have a lot of fun and luck with your Laggis

  • Timing belt change!Does he still have?

Hello together! I just bought a Laguna, which is still really top! It is year 07.2000 and has just 46000km down. In addition, it is a garage and summer car, which was never in operation in winter. Belonged to a buddy of my grandpa. Now my problem. The timing belt was changed at about 15000km (no typing error) in July 2005. Since then he has driven how to calculate 30000km. When I was in the contract workshop today to get the associated winter tires to me. I’m afraid that this thing will tear me away! What do you think about it? Do I have to put myself behind the wheel every day with fear until this is done? I’m commuting and driving about 100km a day!! Please give me a quick answer!!! Therefore, I’m totally thirsty, and I’m going to have to be able to do it again and again. Oh, the wind!Thank you!

  • My Laguna is gone now……Puhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

So I separated myself from my Laguna2 station wagon after 13 months and 40000km…. Conclusion: Had had no major repairs except on track rod heads and thremostat housing. From the feeling I could not make friends with the Laguna……and spare parts are extremely expensive… I sold the car with about 111,000km I have now bought a Mercedes C250 Turbodiesel Sport( built in 1998) with automatic and Euro 3 the car has run 200,000km. The Mercedes runs with se inen 200,000km better than the Laguna… So I’m not going to buy myself another Renault.. Even if I didn’t have any major repairs…..but the workmanship is just bad…
