  • Reasonable price – Change axle cuff or rather change yourself?

Hello, was today to the oil change at ATU (because cheaper than my workshop of trust), there was a broken axe cuff at the front right side of the wheel noticed, I also looked at it – the fat soups out, the thing is also quite brittle. I already read that the part should be quite easy to change? In such things honestly a total rivet and know me zero. Is this a good idea as layman to do such a repair? And how would a measured ATU didn’t even want to ask, except for the oil change, which are usually always more expensive than my “family workshop”, although it does a good job despite the price. I couldn’t find anything in the forum so correctly, under certain circumstances you can help me? Many greetings, Shanrai

  • Laguna 2 on-board computer no longer fails after battery change

Hello and HELFEEEEEE! I got changed a nearly dead battery yesterday at my Laguna Grandtour 2 (Diesel) and first of all everything ran like smear again. He jumped up this morning… drove quite normally but when I turned it off (ignition off) the on-board computer did not go out anymore or jumped immediately again and checked in ahead. Then he also shows strange things like immobilizer, ABS, airbag, light automatic etc. please check on. In the meantime it’s been a few hours and now e He doesn’t know the keycard anymore, please check the immobilizer on the display and if I press the start button nothing happens. Is it enough for the laptop and read out errors? And the most important question: how can I get it back to the workshop at all? A colleague of mine has just disconnected the battery…

  • SCHALTPROBLEME mainly from 1st in 2nd gear and in reverse gear – Laguna Phase 1 K 56

Hello, have my Laguna Grandtour Phase 1 (.1), K 56, RT with 1.8 liter engine, 66 kW and 5-speed circuit can no longer use and now it does the following problems. As soon as the engine / the transmission is reasonably warm (cold I could still understand because of viscous transmission oil, but we don’t have winter), it is difficult sometimes not to insert the 2nd gear. With the backward gear it is not quite that bad. I – the footmat pulled back, which is not. Abe r somehow I have the feeling, I have to reposition the coupling (he has 117 Tkm). I really have to take care of the backward passage and switch very slowly and in all cases push the coupling very well and hit it exactly. On the 2nd it does not help. It helps if necessary to press the switch lever in the direction of the gear and let the clutch pedal come easily. But somehow all the passages do something and don’t flood so properly. I have in the front of the motor on the driver side over / next to the wheelhouse near the spray wall the already frequently described black “drum part” with pay, but do not understand how I should turn the thing, if it is meant for the clutch adjustment or where I should hold, if I turn. Either I am too stupid or you have to turn much further than I did it or….?? Would be nice to get some tips. In advance many thanks. Fatherfin

  • End of a mixed relationship – change of vehicle

Now it’s time – I sold my Renault Laguna III Initiale 2.0 dci Grandtour. I was very satisfied with the car technically, had no significant problems. Some small things were done like new parking sensors at the front, door panels were insulated (permanent vibration even at low volume) – that was what it was in the last 100,000 km. No technical failure or even a breakdown – so I was satisfied. I think this is mainly due to the DPF, because if this fire is fired, you can drive the car with 7 liters – until then a regeneration takes place again, which increases the consumption to the above mentioned value. The reason to switch to another factory is the poor quality of the car. (and the high consumption) Knack and Schepperg escaping from the dashboard, squeaking sun blinds in the doors, snares of the leather equipment, squeaking of the belt locks, vibrating door panels, a non-functioning voice control system, a hands-free system which is so bad that one of the interlocutors does not understand, falling seat coverings etc. have unfortunately been on the agenda with my Laguna and rob one over time the nerve. My expectations according to my Laguna II Dynamic with 120 Ps (Bj. 2004) de I had certainly been high before – this was also excellently processed – which unfortunately did not apply to the Laguna III. Last but not least, the extremely high value loss as well as the currently uninteresting model range of Renault drove me to switch to a German manufacturer. My expectations for the new one are accordingly high – the first test drive was very promising. Above all material appearance, processing quality, technical functions (language control) It is not a question of whether or not the Commission is prepared to take a decision on this matter.

  • It creaks in the tank …

Dear forum, after my 2003 1.8 16V Grandtour (5 gear switch) the climate was restored (new compressor, dryer, belt set), a wheel bearing was renewed at the front left and new tires were raised, new brake discs with wheel bearings, pads and saddles (!) were also allowed to be installed at the back. I don’t even perform all the small stuff here. I thought, now I’ve missed it. But far away … The new problem had only been announced quite gently, now I’m afraid, I’m trying to describe it (I’ve already Googled extensively, but apparently my Laguna is the only car in the world that has such a problem): If I put in the reverse gear (which works quite decently, the clutch separates in my opinion also quite well) and let the clutch come, it comes half way of the pedal to a loud and noticeable noise (passers turn around, birds are turned up) When I repeat the whole thing, everything is OK. Only when I let the first gear come (or start normally) and then (of course in a standstill) switch back into the reverse gear and let the clutch come, the phenomenon repeats itself. The same noise also occurs, for example, when I turn off a red light from the 3rd to the 2nd and let the clutch come. From the 5th to the 4th or from the 4th to the 3rd is no problem. Even if I drive in the 2nd, out Kupple and then let the clutch come back again, it bangs from below. Similar, but not quite so loud, it is with load changes without uncoupled e.g. in the 5th gear. Would be a pity to have the car scrapped. I really like the box very much and have it only for a few weeks. But now the whole thing is slowly becoming intolerable, I am broke … Does anyone here have any idea what it might be? Thank you.

  • Renault Laguna. The 4th generation

According to the car picture, the Laguna 4 should be on the market in the fall of 2012. I read this 1.5 years ago but didn’t really believe it. Some say in 2013 some 2014. My dealer has no information. My guesses (between fear and irony): – Renault has abandoned the middle class and comes with a solution from Korea, like the Latitude or the ugly & unmodern Koleos, to have a car in the segment at all or – Renault waits until all manufacturers their center bring class models on the market in order to avoid direct comparisons with very fresh competitors and to attract the focus of the media, if at the same time no other market tours take place or – Renault prepares something unique, great and needs more time. A technical revolution in the middle class, which will surprise everyone and the German premium manufacturers will make the hell hot Do you have any information? • 1.9 dci 74kw 2005 Gas problem Diesel pressure

Hello dear forum, I have the following problem: Partly when accelerating from lower speeds (1,100 – 1,600rpm) the gas simply falls away. The car manages to accelerate easily or to keep the speed at a slight incline. I used to get power again by several times pressing the accelerator pedal, now that also doesn’t help anymore and I have to step the accelerator continuously until the car suddenly gives power again (mostly at higher speed). eug gives no error codes. I have already replaced the AGR valve, cleaned the LMM and changed the diesel filter. I observed the sensor data of the vehicle while driving and noticed that the diesel pressure does not increase if this error occurs. If I gas normally at about 1,500rpm the diesel pressure rises to about 80 bar. If the error occurs, however, the diesel pressure remains at about 30-40 bar. Does anyone know where the problem lies? Thanks already for any help! LG Julian

  • Can I refuel Super Plus…

Hello guys, maybe for some of you a ridiculous question, but I have never dealt with the topic … Can I fill up with my Laguna SuperPlus? Laguna Grandtour III – 2.0 liter – 16V with 140 hp I have always filled abroad and there is neither E5 nor E10. Now I have planned a larger tour within Germany and will have to refuel several times … E10 I don’t want, and then there is still the E5 and SuperPlus. Question 1.) Is SuperPlus complete en harmless for my engine? Question 2.) I will drive a lot of highways, so have little ‘stops and gos’ (hope at least), since SuperPlus makes sense, would I use less fuel with SuperPlus? Thank you very much!

  • My 1. Renault Laguna (Need your help/ advice)

Hello Together I have had a Renault Laguna 2.0 dci Bose / 5/2011 Facelift / very good equipment like Bose Soundsystem, Xenon, Navi, Volleder, seat heating and electric adjustment with memory for about 1 week. Up to now I only had vehicles from the VAG group, since I was looking for a new working car I happened to step onto the Renault and also bought spontaneously. My Laguna is from 1st hand and has only 58’000km, service booklet with all services (all at Renault) is available som it is understandable the KM and I had it clarified two days ago by telephone in the workshop which the service’s made. Price was advertised: 9’900 Sfr. (Yes Swiss franc, I live in Switzerland) Paid: 7’900 Sfr. (I received in exchange for my Seat Leon 2.0 TDI with 270’000km 2’000 Sfr.) That was the background story, now I have to ask a couple and I hope you can help me 1. RDKS –> I find neither in the on-board computer nor anywhere else the indication e for the RDKS, even when starting the vehicle I get no information regarding air pressure. Can it be that I have a vehicle that does not have a RDKS? (That would be perfect ) 2. On-board computer –> Is it somehow possible that the on-board computer will show me several information at the same time? So far it is so that I see only one information at a time such as KM stand or only average speed, is it possible that the information can be seen at the same time? 3. Navigation –> Here too the Fr Is it possible to deactivate this one after every turn off of the vehicle? I don’t understand the sense that it always activates. 5. Comfort turn signal –> Who do I type once it only blinks once Is there the function comfort blinking in this model? Unfortunately I haven’t found anything in the BC 6. Settings Sound –> Where do I find the settings to adjust the bass etc.? Unfortunately, I didn’t find anything. I would be very happy about your answers and I hope you can help. Below you can see the pictures of my Laguna (PS: I’m still looking for original Renault Interlagos 18 inch rims for the summer, if anyone has anything, please offer ) Thank you and have a nice weekend.
