Somewhere I have read, that to contain the gasoline costs one can drive 91 octan fuel also calmly / should … Well then, I did the self-test, so to speak the counterpart to the permanent burner theme 100 octan instead of 95 … To say it beforehand: The result refers to the T7 turbomotor with 185 hp and at 20-30 degrees outside temperature. The result: Smoshing down ! 1. Start: Ruppiger run, petrol stench cloud as never before 2. Accelerate: Draws only 1000 (!) rpm later 4th Vmax (with a bit of headwind) was at the end of almost 220 speedo. Nomally, it goes after speedo up to almost 250. 5. Consumption: Hardly noticeable difference, maybe 0.2 L more. Conclusion: Of course you will say that we could have said that too. But I just wanted to do this somewhat stupid attempt. The T7 seems to be so scared of the ringing in its eprom too bad. I think it’s all right if you drive 500 km on cruise control at 110, even my wife noticed that something’s wrong.

Circuit Airbag passenger side
Hello Saabpiloten, since our first offspring is due in May, I looked in my Saab once if you can deactivate the passenger airbag. But I had to find out that I am blind because I found nothing. Does anyone have any idea if this is possible at all ?? Oh something else : We are looking for a good stroller with bag as well as a Maxi Cosi. So if someone wants to separate from such things – am open for offers. Would be nice to know which stroller you are using and d as the stowage finds in the Saab. But should not be a problem with the black hole Many greetings Dirk

*** Questions about the Saab 900 II Convertible ****
Hello guys! Have to buy a Saab 900 II convertible. Can you tell me the checklist what I should definitely control when buying so that I don’t buy junk. It’s about a BJ 07.95 that has 110 kw. Has a mileage around 150,000 km How long does this engine last? Could you tell me what this engine consumes about as I travel a lot in the city (Berlin). Or should I buy the 2.0? Which engine is more vulnerable? I don’t have any Know how it looks like with rust, does Saab have a problem with it? It would also be interesting if you should go to Saab if what is or have eg. ATU or even the little private idea? Thanks for once, hope you can help me a little!!! Greetings

Do I stay on the cost?
Hello people! I have the following problem: I bought a used SAAB convertible three months ago. Was right after the inspection, there were no defects found! Now it came as it had to come: KApital engine damage including broken turbocharger. Cost point only for the parts approx. 4000,-€. Luckily when I bought a used car warranty. This takes over 100% of the labor costs and 60% of the material costs (km stand 80,000). These are also noc h 1800,-€. Now my question: According to common jurisprudence, the dealer (Toyota dealer) would have to pay the complete damage (defect liability). Do I now turn to the dealer so that he pays everything? Or does the insurance have to go so far in liability and the dealer has to cover the rest? Or do I even stay on the 1800,-€? Who knows advice? Greeting Philipp P.S.: I know that this does not belong here, but in the insurance forum nobody answered t.

Deer suspension springs in 9-3 >>> WOW!
I’ve been setting myself up for the worst in terms of suspension comfort and I’ve been rewarded with the exact opposite. Today is the first day in 4 years when I have the feeling that the chassis and the rest of the car “know” each other. OK, now to my impression … The car is noticeably heavier, but the current tuning is a lot good from the steering point of view. More humiliating than the old soft suspension. I hit every Gulli cover and it didn’t tear my steering wheel in any way like before. The car is full on the road, load change reactions are almost not present in normal driving mode and the car catches itself perfectly (before a thing of impossibility). No more swinging in curves, no more hard shocks from the steering … Of course I didn’t let myself take it even a very nice winding track to fa and I have slowly tried to “rive” the car in the bends to get a receipt of the chassis }> no chance! Since I have to gain new confidence once again after a workshop visit (just when working tires / steering/ suspension), I did not exaggerate it….. I am really absolutely thrilled ….

Summer tyres: either V or W – but not both ???
Hello municipality, I understand, honestly, the world no longer: Our 900/II 2.3 automatic is indicated with a maximum speed of 205 KM/H – so theoretically even H tires would be conceivable. Now we have registered 195/60R15 88V – or then 205/50R16 87W. I don’t understand this, am obviously too stupid for it. If the 195 V is enough, why not the 205r which has a lower degree of hardness ?!?! It greets… … an absolutely helpless Roland – who thought until today, he would be reasonably knowledgeable……….

just don’t go to Switzerland
Hello together, where do you get an emblem for the engine hood (except at the dealer) and what is called price? Maybe someone else has one left? Mine has been stolen, in the elitist basel!

once again summer tires
since the spring is approaching unstoppably, I have already struggled to raise my 3spoke double rims again. on many advices I disposed of the scrap of pirelli p6000 and instead drive now conti sport contact II. I have to say, these are other worlds. comfort good, rolling noise very quiet, grip perfect and especially the frequently shuffled track groove susceptibility now (almost) away. no comparison to before. the car drives now like a gentle kitten (and above all, wherever I want to go, even if track grooves or channel lids stand in the way… 🙂 my tip therefore to all 17 inches double spoke drivers with still pirelli: changes the tires absolutely, even if there is still enough profile in itself… and conti is undoubtedly a very good choice, although certainly one among several (dunlop sp 9000 etc., Michelin pilot sport, bridgestone re50 etc.) greetings and gentle spring start… h.

Costs Climate service
High municipality, the smell from the climate box is often a topic. I now have an offer of Sh(P)it stop in house for 69 EUR. Rinse through inspection and coolant. Otherwise there seems to be nothing at all. What does the Saabothek approve of your trust for the number? So Klimeservice with filter change and disinfecting? I have received adventurous offers until now. From 39 EUR, if it takes place during the inspection until “can be so 1.5 hours plus material”. Strange also: The latter comment came from the workshop, which allegedly changed the interior filter in August 2004. Anyway, it was on the bill… Is it so confused after 7 months that it has to be renewed? I often see the things offered on eBay. Can’t you install the filter yourself? Nice greeting Jenso

Heater leaks ?
Good evening A week ago, SID reported: Check cooling water! When looking then found out that the liquid level is really in the area of the sensor for reporting in the balance tank. Well, 0.2L replenish cooler frost protection, so happened. 2 days ago then a small cooling water puddle in the garage. After a long search I then found that at the front of the heater / preheater coolant exits from a small opening (production) in the housing. Today everything is dry again and also the cooling liquid level correct. Should I worry about the heater? (Eberspächer D3WZ) Checking is a bit difficult in the current weather.
