Hello together, like the virgin to the child I came recently (almost) to the 9-3 Aero. I was actually looking for another dealer and thought, oh, there is Saab next door, look what they have. And already my eyes saw an external tip-top maintained 9-3 Aero. After a short hesitation and a short tour including Probesen (with me a chapter by itself, because I can not sit in most cars permanently comfortable) I decided to make a test drive. In and of itself he did not drive badly, only the seats were slightly softly padded and above all I was disturbed by various noises, mainly these were the rolling noises, but depending on the speed, crackling (from the A-board or the leather seats) or a noise and whirring (wind and engine noises), there was somehow almost always a restlessness in the vehicle. Now my real question: is this normal, i.e. stiffness and insulation (especially from the Wheel boxes, but also at the height of the driver’s cabin)) of the 9-3 are not really at a modern level or does this perhaps indicate certain defects/defects, which can be put off? By the way, the car has 115tkm down, year 2000. Greetings, thunderbolt

Kilometer manipulated – injection pump to die
Hello Saab friends, I have information that the salesman of my used Saab has given me a ****… Last week I was in the workshop again, this time because the engine control light was on the light. The reading of the error showed that the injection pump reported an error. However, the car worked as always and after the deletion of the error it did not show up again (but did not drive many km afterwards). The interesting thing is that the workshop spec i has found that the amaturating board has very typical scratches that point to disassembling the instrument panel for mileage manipulation. If I still break the injection pump at 118,000 after the turbo can make you suspicious, can I? How can I prove manipulated km? Does anyone have any experience? KM manipulation is apparently on the order of the day after talking to the speci and honest km rather the exception…. Greetings from the S üden, the one with the olive oil in the tank

Purchase interest 9-3I, 2002, 185hp
Hello municipality, we are just considering whether we are expanding our fleet by a 9-3 from 2002 (185hp). Have one in mind about which this is written: “In the vehicle the brakes were completely renewed at the rear, the turbocharger is new, exhaust from Kat renewed, air-conditioning compressor and air-conditioning dryer renewed, hand brake cheeks renewed and large inspection with belts and all filters was carried out. The seals and liquids were all replaced. Oil tank and oil sieves were cleaned “http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=l2ejmyvkqfa3 The Burner has about 108,000 km on the clock and is in the hand of a Saab mechanic, who wants to have the car repaired after turbotod again (see above). I look at the car over the week. Had it been necessary to do more after turbotod than to install new turbo, renew the exhaust (from Kat?), oil tank / oil sieve, Krummer? I take out some work on brakes and climate. So – what else could I be careful to ask what? The mentioned large inspection would have to be the 110,000, right? Thanks for hints!

GM oils = Saab oils ?
Hello, I’ve already read a lot in the forum about oils or the right oils for Saab engines. Now I have a question that might answer the nice, clever leude here. I’ve read that Saab oils is Mobil1 oil or is equivalent to Mobil1 oil. Can you assume that Saab oil can also be equated with GM oil, or else asked, is Saab and GM oil the same soup? I drive a 2.2 tid and would Mobil1 5w30 or 5w 40, if this is equivalent to GM oil, I would take this. Reason : up to half cheaper / see http://ssl.delti.com/…/DA.pl?… Thanks already for the answers. Greetings Smöre

Oh terrifying / my 2.2 TID at the end ?
Hello fellow sufferers 😉 I hope you can take away the horror from me. Today I had my Saabi, with the screwdriver I trust. The reason for this was the check engine, which always appeared together with the emergency running program of the engine. This dynamic duo made me read the forum again and in the end to clean the AGR, charging pressure sensor and LMM. ( of course by my screwdriver ) As I said today, only with the bitter taste that the info of my Schr Here is the info in rough pieces: – AGR , charging pressure sensor , LMM cleaned / until here everything good – At the start today morning he noticed an unround engine run, reason for this should be a cylinder ( which should not turn along / whatever that means ) and the mileage of the engine. It should be well known that the Opel engines are finished after 200000 km and no more compression build up. Conclusion: I should look around for another car Is that so??? I have here r read so much good in the forum about the 2.2 Tid / 125 HP and if I have this car, did he always get after 10000 km new oil + filter? What do you think about the opinion of my screwdriver / credibility or does he have a problem with Opel technology? I hope you can help me and take the horror away. Ohso here again the data of my Saab’s: 2.2 TID with 125 HP Built. 2001 with 185000 km run Greeting of the Smöre

Saab 9-3 Chassis
Hello guys, I’m new in the forum. Carry me with the thought a 9-3 convertible as a second vehicle for the nicer moments in life to get me. I drove the 9-3 II. But the interior doesn’t tell me very much (it works cheaply and was saved too dead by GM). But the old 9-3 I cab I find optically inside and also outside very successful. But what worries me is the often heard opinion that the chassis is too soft and the body is very windy. I want to enter the forum now ask if you can achieve an acceptable change with a variant such as the tuning variants for the 9-3 I offered by Heuschmid? Normally you often help yourself with a dome strut and a harder coordinated suspension (steamer and spring). I’m curious about your opinions and hints. friendlycab93

iPhone 3G integration with Auxgate connect
I’ve had to put myself on the list of iPhone aspirants at Orange in Switzerland – whenever you get such a thing. The goal is of course to use the iPhone in the car as an iPod as well. That means I have to get started and make a bypass of the AS2 to an amplifier. So far my favorite i-sotecs isoamp series was. At the moment only the Auxgae connect stands in my eye:http://www.i-sotec.com/en/products/multimedia/auxgate_connect.html I was d Is the Auxgate connect definitely more powerful than the AS2 and also more signal-stable (bass with high power output)? Is the Auxgate connect definitely more powerful than the AS2 and also more signal-stable (bass with high power output)?

Saab goes out 🙁
Hi, I’m new here and have been having a problem with my car for 1 week. Maybe someone can help with it. Problem: In the morning he starts without problems, drives me for 5 minutes to go out at the red traffic light and not to muck anymore. If you let him stand for about 20 minutes he jumps again without any problems and then drives as if there had never been anything. If I start again in the afternoon I have no problems at all. Urachen: My colleagues now have great ideas about what it can be nte: 1) Be a problem of an old battery? I tested in the stand today what happens when you turn on everything gradually. The result was: motor on – everything else off -> everything good motor on + ventilation to 1 -> twitches from time to time motor on + ventilation+light -> engine twitches more motor on + ventilation to 3+light+radio -> engine twitches and goes off. So– does this point to an age-weak battery? For more information, I bought the car 3 years ago and since then the battery 2) Frozen water in the exhaust 3) Defects Cold start automatic 4) Dirty air filter I would be very grateful about answers

Professional repair SID/climate control panel – experiences?
Hello, after my SID says goodbye more and more and I appreciate more in the meantime than read the question arises to me if I might have the SID repaired by a professional? There are such offers, for example, in the bay. Are there any experiences or recommendations about this? Wouldn’t want to proceed according to the Try and Error method, self-explanatory and a new one should not be. Thanks and greeting Jürgen
