Hello together, my 900/IIer spins again the cruise control. It can sometimes be switched on (Cruise lamp goes on), but when I press “Set”, the voltage seems to collapse and the beautiful yellow cruise lamp goes off. If it succeeds here and there to activate it, it usually shuts itself off after some time. Acquired aggravation is that it can’t be switched on at all. Sounds hard after an electrical problem. Someone has an id ee, where you have to chase in contact spray or what else can it be? Thanks already and greeting, Hägar

OE number of egg-built part
Hello, after failure of the steering hydraulics I need a new pump. Actually no problem. Orders with KFZ24 according to chassis number etc.. Unfortunately it does not fit completely. On request with KFZ24 (my model was listed fittingly) I was informed, I should have also compared the OE number. However, the defective pump is installed, the car drives (thinking only a little difficult) and the OE number in egg-built condition not to be seen. Question: Where can I get the OE number out ohn e Extension of the original? I couldn’t find parts list according to SAAB types. Thanks in advance for your information. Greetings Edzard

Glass sliding roof 9-3 Coupe MY98 Water in the trunk
The trunk of my car is always damp, when it is used some time not. It has a glass sliding roof. I suspect that part of the water comes from the rear drains …that speaks for it, that in the back window after the laundry water traces are present. My question is now, whether I can only check and clean the hoses that go from the sliding roof to the rear in the wheel box, if I dismantle the roof sky? An unwise phenomenon is anyway, w he water can get into the bead of the emergency bike ?? Can anyone say anything about it ? Gruss Artarun

Renovation Saab 900II
Hello all, I am an absolute rookie about cars. And since a few days a joyful owner of a new (old) Saab 900II 2.0 SE Turbo. I bought the car (relatively) cheaply, with the awareness that still some work has to be put in. I am also ready to invest, because I find the car just really beautiful and was long looking for a 902 coupé. But now the joy is a bit clouded, because I “hidden in the car” an old TÜV report f This report has been deliberately kept secret by the seller (private) because I asked about the expired HU (reply: “No, I didn’t have any more”). Now to the actual question: I doubt whether I can get the car fit again (economically considered) or if it seems hopeless in the following mentioned flaws. And if yes, one could tell me about what the car is in good shape (economically considered). Here are the official complaints (there are other construction sites, but I leave them out): – 2nd-axis operating brake effect not sufficient and uneven – same for the parking brake – brake line middle Corrosion weakened – brake rope damaged at the rear – bumper defective attachment (front right) – exhaust pipe middle fixing defective and leaking – flex pipe leaking – exhaust system thermal protection fixing defective – transmission and mo gate leaks (oil loss) In addition, some things can be done in the interior, which is not relevant to TÜV at first. But of course also costs money. I would be very pleased about assessments! Thank you and greetings, JD

Gear damage – which gear ratios mean what?
Hello all, I have a 900 II Talladega 2.0 Turbo MJ98. Due to the defect of the Simmerring of the left gearbox output, the oil ran out of the gearbox, which caused a defect of the differential (possibly further bearing damage). Apart from the consideration to have the operation repaired/repaired or only to replace the differential, I think about using a used one. My current has a translation of i=3.82 (FM55 501 S22 71 M54390). I get cheaply to a suitable Transmission with 174tsd km, which however has the translation i=4.05. What’s the difference? My current speed reaches a final speed of almost 260 km/h. If the option to exchange the differential is the best, I would possibly resort to a barrier differential, which would make sense in the Allgäu at almost 900 altitude meters. Does anyone know a source of supply? They were once in the offer for 333 Euro – unfortunately I find this no longer in the net… I hope you can help me! need my SAAB daily!

9-3 2.2tid Vmax lt. GPS 182???
Again a question in the round: Yesterday I was a bit longer on the highway, thought it has to be looked at how the 200 feel in the Saab…Pustekuchen…Tacho 190, GPS Navi 182…it lights up but nothing anywhere…no warning or check…So from 150 it gets very messy with the acceleration…Air filter is new, fuel filter also new. Someone already had something like that, or a hot tip where to start with the search???

Middle armrest -> which one?
Aloha! I’m just looking for a middle armrest for my new 9-3 and wanted to have the original saab. Now, by chance, 2 types have crossed the way and I like the first one much better. Does anyone happen to have an idea where I get the first one? The former:[img=http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/5775/the correctedh1.th.jpg] Second choice[img=http://img509.imageshack.us/img509/9004/thefalshetj7.th.jpg] Greeting waterb

What would you pay for a 9-3 Aero Coupe?
Hello for about 7 years a 902 Coupe without turbo and was always very satisfied now with 270tkm he slowly weakens to smaller details but no matter… looking for a new vehicle for me I found that it should be a Saab Coupe again because it just fits to me. So mobile and wanted and these two candidates stuck in the grid (black Coupe petrol and Bj after 2000):nr1 or No. 2 without wanting to disparage anyone I find the 5000+x as VHB plentifully set too high. think that 2500-3500 are realistic because 11-year-old Turbo Coupes are not very popular and the Saab target group slowly but surely disappears (joy that you are still here :-)) I see this wrong in principle everyone can ask for what he wants but how do you see it. Is of course also stupid to offer one half of what he would like to have but I can wait 🙂

Duplex stainless steel plant undercut 🙂
Hello together … Since unfortunately no one came up with a company that produces a duplex system (two rear silencers), I took it into my own hands. By the way: My Saab car dealership “refused” to do something in this direction … Fortunately I know someone who knows a small, fine fine tuning forge. So there … and they built me a special stainless steel system and hung it under it … There is a sonorous greeting in front of him PS: The perspective deceives e in little … the two tailpipes look straight out and are equally far away from the respective rear apron … the right section in the spoiler lip has to be repaired again a little bit
