  • Saab Cabrio 900 II 2.0 with 185 hp, special model Sunbeach by Rinspeed

In the meantime, when I was looking for a Saab Convertible 900 II 2.0 with 185 hp, I found an interesting vehicle. How do you think about the following offer? My interest would already be available on the basis of the special Sunbeach by Rinspeed model. This vehicle can be found at Mobile for 4,900 € with the following equipment: Saab 900 2.0, 125,000 km, engine capacity: 1985, 136 kW (185 hp) , number of vehicle holders: 2, petrol, transmission: manual gearbox, front and rear Side airbags, number of seats: 4, pollutant class: Euro3, environmental badge: 4 (green), first registration: 3/1997, air conditioning: air conditioning, manufacturer colour designation: special varnish metallic, ABS, El. window lifter, El. immobilizer, leather equipment, light metal rims, metallic, check book maintained (not all at Saab), power steering, seat heating, cruise control, central locking I would like to ask for your expert opinion. I would like to buy the vehicle, but I know the special model s Sunbeach by Rinspeed does not and therefore cannot estimate the required purchase price. Please help again. Thank you in advance.

  • Motot suddenly goes out – check engine

Hello guys, since this week have the following problem with our Saab 93 Cabrio YS3D. The Moto goes out suddenly and the check engine lamp lights up. The starter turns, but the engine doesn’t start. The workshop has read out fault memory and found many (volatile?) errors. But nothing concrete. And the engine then also jumped again. Guess now, since the tank was on reserve (90 km rest) that possibly dirt or air was sucked in and that had triggered the errors. N But last Friday the same thing happened to us again (tank was full) -> ADAC called. He couldn’t read the FS, but the car started again. And the check engine lamp flickered. What could that be? Greeting, Olli

  • 2.3 liter suction cup or 2.0 turbo, the spoilt of choice

Moin moin, in my search for a suitable convertible, I want to make a decision. I can buy for 4,700 € a 97 convertible Talladega me full equipment, 162,000 kilometers mileage, permanently maintained and first-hand from private for 4,750 € or a 97y 2,3l suction cup with about 120 tsd kilometers, optically and technically good condition, oil tank cleaned, but without climate for about 3,700 € from a Saab lover. If I can’t decide here, I will still buy another year try to put a few euros on the side and then buy a newer model with a few kilometers! Then I still have to wait L My heart actually beats for the 2.0 turbo. However, the vulnerability of the turbo and the high consumption speaks for me. The cleaning of the oil tank is still necessary at 62,000 km mileage. The 2.3 liter suction cup is probably the more sensible car with high cruising fun. A lower consumption and no turbo worries are The latter convertible is very well maintained, but does not have air conditioning. Let’s see how I will decide or if I have to save another year. Thanks to everyone from the round for your opinions.

  • Reinstall original radio

Hello, a few months ago I bought a 95,900 Turbo Cabrio. The previous owner had built in a Sony radio with 10x changer. I have now bought an original radio in the Ebay and installed it yesterday. Unfortunately it does not work. In the SID I have no display, I do not have a sound yet. The vehicle-side ISO plug for the power plug has 8 occupied pins. On the radio are however only 6 pins in the slot as input. Both cable strands (power and speaker) For the current iso three cables were cut off, I connected them again. Which cables are coming or going to the SID? Or does any of you have a connection plan? I have the occupancy on the radio, is a sticker on it, only on the vehicle I don’t know. Constant plus, ignition plus and mass are clearly only the rest not for me. Thank you for your ideas! Greeting Dirk

  • HELP!!! My Saab doesn’t start

Hi guys, I was on the highway at 160km/h with cruise control and suddenly I had the feeling that he didn’t get any fuel. So I switched off the cruise control and gave gas myself. Unfortunately, no success. The Saab is simply rolled out and stopped. Then I turned off the car and tried to start again, unfortunately without success. So I called the ADAC. That came, did not bring the wagon to the start. ADAC said it could be the diesel pump or auc h the filter. Now with a friend who knows a little bit, the car looked at itself. 100% he could not say anything. I can not drive the car for 1 month and it is on the front door. I find it a pity. How or who can help me. Please for a help. Thank you

  • Remove Foil from Türholmen

I was inspired by several contributions in the famous “Stelo-pimps-his-anniversary” thread yesterday to remove the black plastic foils on the door bars. The foils prick over the height of the side panes. With my five doorr it is three foils per side. The black foils are probably supposed to form an optical contrast to the car painting. My Anniversary is black anyway and varnish looks much better for my taste than plastic. ürholme are painted anyway. Procedure: Definitely use no other tools than a hair dryer and your own fingers! First open the windows to get more room for the window rubbers. Then open the door and heat the foil from the bottom to the top with hot air. The foil is glued around the door Palatinate. I first heated the foil on the inside and over the door edge over the entire length and replaced it with the fingers. Then we closed the door and the fo 5mm from the edge of the glass and loosened from the bottom to the top over the entire length. Then I heated the upper end – the foil is also clamped in here – and slowly pulled on the foil. The adhesives dissolve with increasing heat and you can pull the foil out completely. Important: A little patience is required. The warmer the areas to be treated are, the easier the bonding is to loosen. However, I did not weigh on a hot air gun. t. The film is relatively stable and tolerates a neat, even train. However, no tearing! And lastly: the paint under the film looks like new. I once went around my car, looked at the whole car and then immediately went into the cellar to get my paint care. The contrast was simply too big! Why I removed the film? For my taste it looks cheap, at least for a black car has no optical function and is t together with the glued-on plastic model names (“Saab”, “93”, “SE”, which I have already removed in the same way, only a dirty catcher.

  • Is the cheap / recommended?

Hello, I’m looking for a new car and I really love it with a Volvo v40, but I’m not really determined yet. Well, and thoughtfully the step from Volvo to Saab is not so far (at least for a still-toyota driver ), and I was promptly at the nice dealer earlier. There was a 98 2,3i Saab 900 on the yard, with (if true) only 54,000 km on the clock. Tempomat, climate, no leather. Price tag said what of 8,500 euros – is that much, is that little? And what about the car at all? Typical weaknesses? Actually I want a station wagon, but Saab should have a great trunk – right? My comparison, if anyone knows: A Corolla BJ 96 E10 three-door. Thank you for your information Seb.

  • … again undercarriage, but this time from HIRSCH

Hello Saabler, I recently drove a Saab 9-3 AERO convertible (deep front apron) with a deer sports suspension. The car looks absolutely nice. The problem I have however is this: I can not drive a car into a parking garage, as I keep hanging or grinding on the driveway with the front. I also have to take care of every curb. It is definitely too deep at the front (it rubs down ). I don’t know how much the vehicle is lower, but it is a lot. What ka nn I do ? Actually I don’t want to replace the chassis for a “normal” and connected with it also “smooth”. Did the AERO have a sports suspension as standard, which was not so deeply set ? Please urgently for help !!!!! Thank you in advance…..

  • Failure Transmitter display 9-3/1

Failure station display 9-3 TiD MY2001 Happy new her all! I know, about SID and display units has been posted in detail, but I found nothing really useful for my problem. Problem: The station or CD display of the remote radio display is temporarily out, but the radio still works. By a slight slap on ́s dashboard over the radio then it can be revived for a short time. As stated, only the radio display is affected, onboardcomput he remains ok. Question: Where to look first, radio, display, or the supposed connection between. Maybe there is a typical bug that occurs more often. (I don’t really want to hit him, is certainly not good for the CD – laser unit)

  • Aero or Viggen?

Hello to everyone. I’m new here in the forum and I have to get rid of it for the first time that I find it great here. Does everything seem to be quite loose and Saab-Foren gibbet well then net so many. Well, now to my question. I would like to add a Saab 9-3 soon and fluctuate between the Aero and the Viggen-model. Bj.00. Are there weak points with the Fzg.? e.g. Turbo or transmission. Why would you advise me? Is the Viggen not basically an Aero only with a pair of PS more from home d ner other leather equipment? After all, you save good 4000-5000euro when you get “only” nner Aero. And the performance cure at Hirsch for Aero on 230hp is also not the world but is this performance comparable to the Viggen? I also avoid the torque etc. Would I be happy if you can give me some tips and inspirations. Greetings from Hamburg.
