Hello workshop! Why does an MT notification email become an additional SPAM mail? Situation: I subscribed to a thread. In new posts I receive an email from MT. And sometimes I also receive another mail from third party, which contains the complete notification mail from MT. My provider marks this as a SPAM mail. Is Article 13 a threat to motor talk?
Hello MT-Team, Hello Community. Up to now it looked as if Motor-Talk is spared from the article 13 censorship due to its size. (Article 13 is a project of the EU to hold online platforms responsible for the content of their pages in the future, i.e. for copyright violations by user uploads no longer only to make the user liable, but also the platform. Clear marking for threads that have been inactive for a long time
…And by that I mean from about 2 years. Worse, often 6-8 years old threads are revived and filled with meaningless comments on age-old problems. This is especially noticeable to me in the general purchase advice and with new users, who dig out 5 corpses with their 5 first posts senselessly. And since not automatically the first look goes towards date and many for the context the whole (several pages long) thread is then always frustrated, if you end up only someone after 6 years adds “Yes, but did you drive that already?”. Usually followed by someone who points out the age and six others who also ignore this because they don’t even read the latest posts, but found on page 4 of 2014 any comment that displeases them and absolutely requires a comment. Even if a legitimate new question is behind it, the first thing that goes under in new comments about old chamomiles is skilfully. and I find it extremely annoying. I understand that the threads are kept open to discuss similar problems and not to have 30 threads on a topic, but the above phenomenon follows in each of these cases. Wouldn’t it be possible to automatically mark posts that are inactive for more than 18 months (not only when someone posts something in it again) with a color-like flair “old” or similar? Best in the topic overview and in the topic sel bst, meintwegem in the header of each affected post. Suddenly mail notifications for subscribed topics
Dear ones, either haunted in my browser, or in the MT engine room something is broken. I generally don’t use theme subscriptions. Only emails are ordered when new PNs are there. Since this evening, starting with my current visit (from approx. 21:05 clock), I suddenly have “automatic” subscriptions of all topics in which I have left a new post. Of course, I can turn this off via “Manage subscribed topics”. But I’ll leave it on first, maybe you can get out find where the mistake is.

Discussion on the publication of a PN

Also at this point I reject the allegations and wait from another side still for a reaction of the crew. Accordingly, I demand the withdrawal of the warning for this case.

Can’t open in the new tab or window anymore?
I noticed here at MT (and only here) that the “opening in the new TAB” doesn’t work with the 3rd mouse button anymore. In the new window, it doesn’t work either. I didn’t look for the “error” now either, because it works on other pages as usual! New feature or just like that with me? It’s only been like this for a day or two.
