Hello, I have a question about the copyright for photos at MOTOR-TALK, which I could not answer myself with the help of the MOTOR TALK terms of use. Suppose … a) I want to upgrade my forum, blog or FAQ posts by photos or use these photos to explain something. I do not have my own photos for this purpose. I use different photos, which I find here on MOTOR TALK, in my posts. Important: I find the photos here on MOTOR TALK, no net fun dstücke of other origin. Or the other way around … b) I take (detail) photos of my vehicle and set them up at MOTOR-TALK, for example in my blog. Maybe a conversion, a defect or whatever. Another user uses my photo in his forum, blog or FAQ post. May he take the photo … From the terms of use I don’t get quite clever. Too much “official German” On the one hand there is something about copyright protection, on the other hand also some consent to further use of the content on MOTOR TALK. Sure, the easiest thing is always to get the author’s consent, but does anyone know it exactly? Most certainly. Dangerous half-knowledge I have enough thanks myself! Greeting, DiSchu

MT mobile version, suddenly div. display error ?
Hello Workshop I know there is a feverish work on an MT app. Until this is available, however, we still have to like the MT mobile version of the web pages. Figure 1: suddenly missing icons on various buttons at the end of a thread Figure 2 & 3: topic headings in the overview lists have moved to the right, that was previously n icht so Do I just have these display errors on my device? Samsung Galaxy S3, Android 4.3, Android browser.

Stimulation: Post a comment function on news
Hello MT team! I would like to encourage you to deactivate the comment function for news such as new presentations, driving reports, etc. As a rule, there are already lively discussions about the vehicles under consideration in the brand or model forums, which also run mostly in orderly lanes. However, the commenting of the news on an overarching basis is in most cases due to a few entries to an alien and ideologically motivated brand bashing, which does not help may look similar to others. Thanks and greeting BigWolf

What are moderators for if they don’t respond to private messages?
Hi. I know that there are only a few editors on Motortalk and that they do their work free of charge. I also know that the “job” as a moderator is done here in leisure time, whatever conditions you have to bring with you in order to become one. Moderators have, as the name suggests, the tasks to moderate a forum, to monitor it and to help other users with concerns. But how active does such a moderator have to be at all? This thread was closed after a statement from a moderator (which is not clear): http://www.motor-talk.de/…/…irbt-bei-versuchshund-t5186196.html There was no answer to the presenter, although he was online several times and even long after I sent her a PN. Apart from that, I don’t understand why a thread is closed. Finally, I don’t understand why a thread is closed. lives this from the discussions in the comments and motor talk is happy about many visitors and contributions. Maybe you can help further. Have you already had experience with non-arranged moderators? What do you think about this? LG Useraccount

Stay logged in to the mobile version? (iPhone)
Hi, Is there the possibility to stay logged in to the mobile version? Is n bitsl annoying to enter the login data every time. Above all, you always get to the start page after login and do not stay in the previously displayed forum. At least it is so on the iPhone. As with other mobile devices I do not know. You are even logged out as soon as you close the Safari. Greetings Alex

Moderation in the vehicle maintenance sector
I take up the request in this thread to express my displeasure about the moderation in the vehicle maintenance area. For my feeling, a moderation does not take place there de facto. Although occasional interventions are carried out, these are apparently carried out at random. I can’t determine a continuous line at any rate. If I read then that a user is approached very personally and in the same breath the thread is closed (they This gives me the impression that critical users should be muzzled. An appropriate reaction would have turned out in my eyes to split the contributions that revolved around the topic of moderation into a separate thread and collect the discussion there. I would therefore be interested in the following: 1. How is mod-side the situation in the vehicle care area assessed? 2. According to what basics is in MT general and in the vehicle care area in particular 3. With what frequency is the current vehicle maintenance moderator fordietunwas active in “his” area and what proportion of all threads does he pursue with what intensity? I ask these questions because this forum has grown to my heart. Especially the vehicle maintenance area is in my view a good point of contact for those who want to get into the car care more intensively, but who are the well-known specialist forums a number too big. However, it is – as in Forums are quite normal – sometimes a bit colorful too. And that’s exactly what I want a moderation that acts quickly, appropriately and comprehensiblely. Unfortunately, I miss this at the moment.

Enhancement Blog Overview
Hello me has been bothering me for a long time that there is no reasonable view of the subscribed blogs, in relation to blog articles and related comments… Only we don’t know what there is in possible development. And that’s exactly why I want to get the stone rolling… That’s not an acute problem now, but it kind of burns me day by day to look through the blogs without having a nice overview (exception: I subscribe to every article in every blog, but what also This thread should not be a mecker thread, a la MT is bad, bad and slow, I really want to make a collection of ideas with this thread so that maybe even the developers of MT remember, we have something to do with this forum, and we want to actively improve it. Maybe then your idea will be implemented, you don’t know it in hard work *hut* I once made a view of how it would please me. : It should be an extension to Cockpit, where you can “open” every blog and display the new comments per article. What do you think about it? Give feedback or tell me how you imagine such an overview, thank you ^^

“Tell us” : Ok, I don’t want to get spam from MT !!!
Hello MT ! I just received an email from you. Apart from the fact that the content is completely wrong, what is this bullshit ? “… Hello …, 7 years ago you registered with MOTOR-TALK.de. Dusky automatic linking of the search function
Meal, it’s great that the search function is automatically linked, but then please look for it in the appropriate forum. See here:http://www.motor-talk.de/…/…n-but-like-the-best-t2595146.html?… The user clicks on it, lands in the general search, enters lowering with coiled suspension or something like that and gets the whole range from Audi to Volkswagen. That’s totally nonsense! This automatic linking only makes more work and fulfills as it is now no use. I’d like to take out the link. I know there have been topics in the past because of such links, but none with the search function yet, and I think that’s really more important than writing Bora Forum and becoming a link from it.

new signature control
Quotation: Hello… Currently the advertising regulation has changed to Motor-Talk.de, especially also the link regulation to foreign forums. I would like to refer on this occasion also to this thread in the subforum Says’s Uns. It looks now as follows, you are unfortunately also affected: 1. In the profile button (website) everyone may link what he wants. 2. Links to foreign forums (Home) in threads and/or signatures are from now on not (more) allowed. That was always so, some However, few were allowed to do otherwise because of the “exclusiveness” of their small forum in relation to the rarity e.g. of the special vehicle model. 3. A direct link to a post in a foreign forum is acceptable if it leads to problem solving and there is no solution here on Motor-Talk.de. Then the link must lead directly to this post, no home page! And for reading the post no registration in this forum must be necessary. To this end, I would like to add that it is necessary for me eber would be if this “problem solution” were written on MT. This has the reason that later users can find this post via the search function and so also have some of it. But maybe they find only one link that might lead to a forum that is no longer existing. I would therefore like to ask you to adjust your signature immediately after reading this PN and observe the new guidelines. I’d like to thank you for your understanding… Greetings Totti-Amun MT Team Without trying to offend you: I think it’s a good idea..?! What does a link in my signature to MY car have to do with foreign forum advertising?! What are you afraid of? That you members run away because they discover other forums where you can also have some fun writing posts? Motor talk is one of the best sources for me when there is no problem with my cars but the Entsc I can’t really understand administrator’s beliefs.
