  • Racetracks Mopped GSX R 750

Hi guys, I’m looking for a racing machine for the track. It should be a GSXR 750. Whether it’s a SRAD or K1, it doesn’t matter. Should just keep up with the price. Thought so up to 3000€ I wanted to spend. if someone wants to sell their car or someone knows, let me know. It can also be a road machine without a TÜV, which I can then rebuild. KM stood almost no matter, engine should just run super well and not have increased performance by mechanical I just want to start driving the circuit, ONE workmate has been driving for many years and has infected me. Now I also need my own to hunt on the race track. So if you have something, the fairing can also be a defect or something, except for frame, fork, swing and engine should be in good condition. Would I be happy if I could get something. Thank you very much i M ahead. VG Speedboy

  • Bandit Problemchen šŸ˜‰

Hi ! I need advice and hope I’ll find it with you !? Have a 600 bandit, year 2000 and ung. 15,000 km down. Always top maintained and Top Gegegt ! But unfortunately it does during the ride when abruptly giving gas short twitching. But really only when abruptly give gas. The machine runs totally clean, calm and is at abruptly give gas and after the approx. 1 sec. jerk or stutter damn toxic. It goes off like hell ! Actually everything so far perfect to stutter to the short. Fo Lgendes I did to fix the error eventl.: 1. Valves checked Was everything rogger, the values are correct ! 2. Carburettor completely disassembled except on the adjustment screws. Everything was cleaned with carburettor cleaner and subsequent ultrasonic bath. Everything sparkles and flashes. The membranes as well as all other parts of the carburettor look flawless. Nix torn or broken etc. 3.Carburettor synchronized after neat assembly. All tip top. 4.Sluices checked. Nix found. 5. Air filter checked. Compl. clean the good piece. 6. Spark plugs contolled. (visibility test) Are all deer brown. 7. Tank cap completely disassembled and cleaned with ultrasonic. 8. Gasoline tap taken apart and cleaned with ultrasonic. Looks great. Works also with pressure impeccable. Just as it was. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I recently did everything. But I still haven’t found the problem ! The only thing I haven’t done yet, i with colortune adjust the gas/air mixture. Oh yes, this symtoms only appear when it is warm !!! Partially so between 60-100 C°. Of course I do not do even if it is cold as if it were warm, but you still notice this. If I now drive for example in the 3rd course and give abrupt gas, it jerks for about 1 sec. max 2.sec. as if it does not get enough spritt and whistles only afterwards like a rocket. If the speeding up and abruptly gas g the symtoms don’t show up !! Only at the first time abruptly give gas. Hope I could bring this a little good over and hope now really around your advice !!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t think any further !!!!!!!!!

  • Problems Motor Suzi gsx 250

Moinmoin, I gave myself a nice old Suzuki GSx 250 bj82 for Christmas and am restoring this great part. After the engine was supposed to have run in March lj, I started to get the machine ready for launch. Starterrellais was open and sparked while starting. Plastic was slowly but safely crumbled. The cables changed. So all changed… When trying to push the ignition worked as soon as starter was pressed, The ignition voltage has collapsed, so too high starting current. At first I thought that the coal, but this starter commutator was quite oxidized, which is why the engine hardly did anything, I polished everything highly polished, starter bangs again 1A. One of the spark plugs wanted then and when not, until I had noticed that a cable was defective on the ignition coils and wobbled. So sanded down, repaired. Battery renewed. Next I removed and cleaned the carburettors and with a vacuum cleaner syncronized . Mixture was pulled through the vacuum cleaner underpressure (test method cleaning gasoline) . Air filter renewed . In the removed condition the suction tested . One of the valves seems to let through once in a while during compression . It arises then and when some aerosol at the intake nozzle . Carburettor re-installed . Gasoline filled . Starter pressed . Every now and then the engine seems to want to start, but as soon as it starts and I release the ignition, he dies w It seems to be a general problem somehow, since both pistons do not run (if one would work, he would pull the other without any problems also in the LL) After each longer start attempts both candles are dry. Don’t understand the following: Carburettor works. Suck on it (blue snuggle on the back of the hand ) However, it does not start, and the candles are dry. However, it has to be said that when searching for external temperatures of around 0 degrees. No optimal climate for restart attempts… After the carburettor was a little resinous, I am now thinking about whether the valves might be a little splintered. Should I try it with starter spray, or does that harm more? Maybe with a cannula, chase some cleaning gasoline through the air filter to release glues to the valves? Would be great if someone had an idea! LG Joe

  • Cost per season?

a beautiful good tomorrow in the round! well, I’ll also tell you what to say! and I’m still a student and actually had to buy a GSX-r 600 in my head! that wouldn’t be a problem, however, I talked to the boys here from my workshop when I was with my 125er to the inspection, and they told me that such a car costs me almost 1000eus per season! and I don’t have petrol yet and no insurance with! almost only 2new flaps! and a new chain set incl. assembly! nuja now asks me if I can finance such a car at all?! and of course if this is realistic! I usually only drive to school in the week about 10km (trainings away from 20km is added) and in the afternoon or at weekends I do a small tour often around the 100kms when the weather plays along! with this driving way I come in one year to about 5-6k km! I come there with 1000eus or is too Excessive? mfg and many thanks out of the ruhrpott!

  • Sudden battery failure possible while driving?

I suddenly stopped yesterday with my SV 650 and it didn’t go on anymore. I first drove about 20 KM. When I wanted to leave again after a break of about 45min, it made after about 50 meters “crack” and the engine went off and there was nothing more. All the control lights stopped. After a while, the lights went on again when the ignition key turned, but as soon as I pulled the starter or even the brake lever, so that the brake light lit up, did I called the ADAC and with its starting battery the engine jumped on immediately. He said that either the battery is defective or some kind of power regulator. Can the battery just break during the ride or get a short circuit? I removed it today and connected it to my charger. The charging current indicator only shrugged briefly and remained at zero Should I just buy a new battery and try it out, or would I rather go to the workshop?

  • Loss of power after throttle kit removal? Shorten “sample time” by re-testing?

Moin’s people! I just signed up here because I’ve already stepped on this forum several times via Google and have two special questions: 1. Is this true e.g. a GSX-R 1000 which was throttled to 25KW after the throttling no longer has its full original power? Someone told me that it can be the engine “accustomed” to the throttling. 2. I read that there is the possibility for someone who says we made his motorcycle driver’s license at 24, sob ald he has become 25 a kind of inspection with 6 driving hours to then also be able to drive open so that you do not have to wait the 2 years completely. Not even my potential driving school could confirm this to me exactly. Well, I’m curious šŸ™‚ Greetings grussel08

  • Gsxr 750

Hello everybody, I’m new to this forum. I’ve been reading you for a while now. Great nice bunch of competent answers Promised. So time to me, 27 years young come from the beautiful Swabian country. Ride a 5 BMW and soon also motorcycle. I’ve got to do the driver’s license for class A now with 27 to do it. I just had too much respect for it at 18 and was certainly not long on such a part to “survive”. Now I think I’m mature enough for a mopped. Now to my question. Wants to have a sporty oriented machine, thought only to the 600 he GSXR but I was taught by several people the 750 he is simply nicer to drive. the future is Bj end ’96 and in a good condition. On what must be considered before the purchase. how can I test as much things as possible in 30-40 minutes to know that it is ok. Again, I am a beginner. Thanks already for the answers. Mfg Stefan

  • Help urgently for my GSX 600 F

Hello people have a bigger problem, got a good old GSX 600 F, which is supposed to, or is throttled, but on funny 18KW, it seems to have throttled with throttlings in the intake tract, have removed the kpl carburetor to find the damned things, but there is nothing in it. What else can I do to lift the throttling, or find how and where the throttling is? When giving gas in the first and second it is actually good at 8000 U, but with the higher aisles does there is very little and the buck refuses to run strictly over 140kmh. As I said in the intake area there is no disk installed as it is in the papers, neither in front nor in the back. Please urgently for help.Vieleicht is also someone who lives in my area who knows himself and I come there who can help me with it. Come from Nuremberg. Thanks already in advance. Mfg Tom

  • SV650S or Bandit 600S ???????

Hello, think about getting either a SV650S or a 600 bandit! What would be your decision? Must say that I’m a beginner and I haven’t been driving for 2 years and I finally wanted to get my own bike! I heard, however, that there could be problems with the SV 650S with bigger people (b. 185cm) and you can sit inconveniently! So, there is still to say that I want to spend a maximum of €4,000, that is, it should be a good used one (approx. year 2001/2002) if you get that for it already!? Ok,now I hope for your opinion!! Write hard work! šŸ˜‰
