  • GSX 250 dies when giving gas

Hello, and I have a GSX 250 of about 1982, this was probably 20 years now. I cleaned the carburetor and started it with a workshop tank because the original one was still ossified, but as soon as I press only the gas handle one mm the speed goes down and it goes out. Then I cleaned the carburetor again, because my guess was that something still hangs and set the mixed screws according to the documents again. Then it ran to some ate well, I could start up and switch to the second gear and put it off after the test drive, one day later the same problem again and the machine refuses to take gas and it also looks like there is no power behind it. Does anyone have a solution to help me? Besides, I tried to keep the engine running warm in idle mode, but that didn’t help either and I searched for wrong air with brake cleaner but unfortunately without success Mfg, Ren e

  • Motor bike goes out after about 15min (when it is warm)

Good day, I hope someone can help me here. I drive a Suzuki Bandit GSF 600. The motorcycle was not moved (2022), with fuel in it. Is not so good for the motorcycle… History: – Motorcycle went off while driving – Since in the WS the cock was erroneously on PRi carburettor and engine room full of gasoline – Thereupon carburettor cleaned with ultrasonic bath and the engine – also inspection – The motorcycle ran then. I drove so 100km with it – impeccable – Then did I made it properly winter-proof When I wanted to ride with it in March the motorcycle went off again and again, in the middle of driving. Symptoms among other things no gas acceptance, at less than 5 km/h during braking and clutch pulling went off. So this time I cleaned the carburettor with the help of an acquaintance (Mechatronician). Then the motorcycle ran better for a short time, but then did not again very quickly. So everything was screwed apart again, then it was noticed that the float needles (3 and 4 te jack) more often hang. So also the with acetone cleaned again to the detail everything really well cleaned. Then it ran now perfectly. But only the first 10-15 min. Current symptoms: This occasionally takes no gas, does not stop the stand gas (going down always until it completely runs out), at some point it does not start again, only when the about 10min was out. Try with the screw of the stand gas to “play” did not work. Sometimes if then you then gas It suddenly stays at 2000 revolutions and then slowly drops off again. Further thing: At Pri it doesn’t flood, there is always only droplets out what, tried to clean the tank and dismantle the petrol tap and tried to clean it. But don’t think that the problem comes from it, because even if petrol comes (even enough) that doesn’t go well then. So everything is quite strange. Does anyone have an idea? Can these symptoms still come from the float needles?

  • Suzuki GSX-8R – Tyre choice

Hello together, I’ve been proud owner for a month a GSX 8R. Got now 4800 KM on the watch and the original Dunlop tire is over! I don’t think a good tire choice, rides in the dry quite well, but in wet weather this is a disaster. Drives like on raw eggs and I have absolutely no confidence! Do not need any tires for the race track, but for sporty and fast touring, with proper life. Have a Conti on my bandit Road Attack 4 with current mileage of 9400 KM. What do you suggest? Or what experiences do you have? Greetings and nice day Commanderhorry

  • Inazuma: Gas runs after – false air?

Hello together, my GSX 750 AE (Inazuma) got out of hibernation. Now at the first exit I noticed that the gas is running: From about 3000/4000upm, when I take away gas to switch and pull the clutch, the engine turns again clearly high (ca +500-1000upm) as if I were still hanging on the gas. Below 3000upm the problem is noticeably less pronounced. It gets a little better when I turn on the stationary gas controller. Then it goes to me because of too low standing gas all of this Since I want to change the spark plugs shortly anyway and then have to lower the tank, I wanted to try to tackle the problem promptly, namely: tank off, “emergency tank” and run, then with brake cleaner try to find the wrong air place. Does anyone have a better proposal or even thinks that it is not a false air problem? Or a tip, where exactly I should look for false air problems / cracks? I am grateful for every advice! Greetings St efan

  • Connect the petrol pressure regulator

Hello, the fuel pump sits outside on my Hayabusa Gen 1. As many people know, this often causes problems. This year there are already 2x .Pump,Filter everything renews but I trust this misconstruction nuicht more. I came up with the idea to take an external pump and a petrol pressure regulator with return connection. In GB such a thing is sold completely but around 800 Euro incl. taxes.Almost as expensive as complete pump housing Hayabusa. My question for installation: Pump at the tank inlet next-output pump to the pressure regulator from there to the injection strip and the return of the pressure regulator to the tank. Would that be so correct or thinking error from my side? The pressure regulator I wanted to take has 3 connections plus vacuum. 1x input,1x to the injection strip and connection return. Gruss Thomas

  • GSF650 S 2007 (injection) has problems with gas acceptance

Hello, today on a small tour I noticed that as soon as the machine is warm, in the range between 5000 and 6000 revolutions the machine has no power. You notice despite full gas that the engine brake really ensures that you get slower instead of speeding up. After a short stop times with open tank cover driven because the guess was that too little fuel arrives, but unfortunately no improvement. To replace the petrol filter tomorrow, there is something else. What I can control ? Strangely, if I give quite careful gas then I come over the 5-6000 revolutions and can accelerate relatively normally.

  • Disassemble GSX/E engine housing

Hello municipality, would have the following question in the round:I bought a GSX/E racer for classic car racing some time ago.Motor had unfortunately no compression on a cylinder.Have removed engine and want to completely disassemble it:Now comes:I don’t get the two housing halves apart.Looks like I have to use the Flex ran (fun) Has someone done this before? • Suzuki Address 125 – 2023

So far I have driven a China Retro Roller 50. I was able to realize service and repairs myself. Since I weigh 120 kg and live in the middle mountains, mountain ascents have sometimes become a burden for me. If you are overtaken by 40 tonnen trucks then the fun factor is gone. Therefore, on a favorable occasion I got a Suzuki Address 125. For me the now regular TUV demonstration is new – my driver’s license is compliant. From the quality of the strength and driving cult The address also pulls up steep mountains with 50 km/h. It runs very moderate. In general, the Variomatik is a pleasure here. Mountain down and in the plain are up to 95 km/h. You can plan a cross-country trip there. The consumption is 2.2 Ltr. – 100km. My 50s machine does not consume less than 2.5 Ltr. This is certainly also because the engine always runs quite high. The Suzuki is probably one of the weakest 125s, but weighs d afor only 100 kg. Furthermore, I believe to recognize brand quality here. It has no exaggerated additional functions, (Keyless go, ABS, alarm system, handle & seat heating) which I do not miss. I would like to encourage you as a 125 scooter driver to share your experiences, no matter which brand you have chosen.

  • Suzuki GSR 600 “Streetfighter” conversion. What is allowed? What about TÜV?

Halli Hello I’m in love with a GSR 600. However, I don’t like the serial tail with the white taillights and the underseat exhaust. My plan is therefore to convert it a bit. Before I get one, however, I wanted to hear what other people have to report so, to what extent you can modify something to get it still registered. My plan is: -Suzuki GSR600 buy -puff down (but did not find any exhaust for a GSR600 which is on the Sei There is only Underseat. Can you just take an exhaust from another Suzuki? I mean to have read that this is the same engine as with a GSX-R 600. So the exhaust would have to fit, right? Do you get that registered?) -Heck cleanen -Backlights from the Suzuki SV1000 build up -Heck raise -Completely paint in shiny/matt black -Streetfighter license plate holder with blinker -Bugs spoiler -and even smaller changes, like Sp iegel etc and possibly other headlights How the result might look rough/solte I’ve already put together a little bit at pc ^^ http://data.motor-talk.de/…/img-010982ry4t-7866455615385532502.jpg Would be cool if someone had par tips/instructions or anything else =) PS: possibly excuses the rape of the word “streetfighter” xD

  • Make the intruder louder ! ! !

Hello together. My name is young hair. I’m new here and I have a question with which I don’t know any more. My father bought a 1400 intruder and doesn’t agree with the sound image. Can I make the production exhaust system louder? If so how? And would that be very loud from the loud strength? Have seen that in the bags ever 3 rivets. Is it enough to remove these and remove any insulating wool? And yes I know that’s not leal. Thanks already for coming E ideen. MfG young hair
