Hi, in advance: Two years ago, I got a Bandit 650SA with more than 100T km and probably put a pretty egg in my nest. To the background: The machine is currently in the workshop for carburettor cleaning, however, several things gradually turned out, so that I have interrupted the work now. In particular, the carburettor causes trouble: During the cleaning it turned out that the gas slide membranes are close to the Exitus. Since the Mech aniker suspected finding even more things due to running performance, he didn’t want to give me a price for the work, so I have interrupted the whole thing now – the narrow wallet needs planning security. Now I need advice on how to proceed: 1. Does anyone of you know if there are the gas slide membranes for the GSF650 (WVB5) individually / as a four-replacement – or only with pistons? Unfortunately I did not find any membranes as individual parts for the GSF 650, only for the GSF1000 od I found an original part number only for the part with pistons (4x:82 € = 320 €; 13500-31F00-000)http://www.bike-parts-suz.de/suzuki-recherche-bike-pieces_nn.php?… 2. Do you have an opinion on the purchase and installation of a used carburettor with low mileage? (part price < 300 €) Is this not recommended or not at all at all, what could be feared? 3. Is the investment still worth or is it to be feared that s the whole becomes a savings box that clearly exceeds the value of the machine (purchase price 2600 €)? Thank you very much for your feedback! VG Bandito

(Suzuki GS 500 E)
Hello everyone, am currently buying the GS 500 E from my cousin. Year of construction should be ’91 or ’92. Was today at the TÜV with the papers, since in the vehicle letter there is once a registration with 20 KW, one with 34 KW and a 25 KW, however all three are crossed out. In the field comments is now still a non-coated entry with 25 KW at 8000 upm. However, now the problem is that the motorcycle is open, so 34 KW has, but only the 25 KW one. I still have to say that the motorcycle has been registered since 2004. The good guys from the TÜV now said to me that I need to register the 34 KW, an expert report that they really have this performance, but they can’t tell me where I get it from. I hope you can help me now! Thank you!

First purchase : find the advice and experience of the old rabbits
Hello together, I’m new to this forum and I’m about to come up with an overwhelming question. I’m short, I’m from Hamburg, am 25 years old and drive a pretty golf V. I’ve had my motorcycle driver’s license since 2009 and I’ve been riding the Suzuki gsf 1250 for rent to this day. My experience now includes tours over 1- 1.5 weeks with over 1800km. However, I do only drive these few weeks a year, since I haven’t had a parking space for the machine so far. But finally there should be one of my own, but I am very overwhelmed with the selection. I love with the super athletes, which is not in question for me because of my size (1,86) and the preference for long distances. Now I have remained stuck with the sports tourists, but do not know what a “newbie” is the best. I can drive curves, but have nothing to do with the knee-grinding on the hat. But she may like to look sporty biting :P. I hope you can give me a good time to choose a geei gnet machine stand by the side and give me helpful tips. Thanks and greeting Basti

Gas dissipation during the journey
Hello together, In order to describe the problem of my bandit I have to catch up a bit. After more than 1.5 years of service life I put the machine into the workshop to have the carburettor cleaned. It could not be started any more. The workshop had then disassembled the carburettor and cleaned in the ultrasonic bath. In addition, a spark plug was replaced and a fuel filter was installed between petrol tap and carburettor (transparent). The next day a tour of about 50 km and shortly before the garage drive noticed that she started to stutter something on the gas. Had not thought about it at first and left it in the garage for a week. At the next start it was difficult and confirmed the stuttering. Only after I had flooded over PRI the carburettor, she went on at all reasonable. At first she ran again properly and ic h went to the gas station to fill up fresh fuel. Afterwards we went on a road test drive. After about 5 km the stutter went off again, intensified up to the complete refusal of the gas acceptance. Symptoms similar, like if the tank is empty I would guess. So somehow no fuel seemed to comply. I had to order you on the roadside then again with PRI toys and more/less Choke some time. When she then ran in idle, you were first allowed to ke It was only after some “slow time” in idle time that she started to take on gas again. I drove back to the workshop immediately and described the problem. There was also a direct test run of about 15 minutes. Result: no problems. For a more extensive test drive the machine was kept there. Also no problems. So I picked it up again and again I am a distance of about 50 km without Probl After about 2 weeks she was back until the last weekend. After starting with Choke and some time to get warm, she first drove neatly (without Choke). After about 5km again to stay stutter until completely lying down. I had to order it again for some time and it only ran extremely unevenly. I am completely at the end with my Latin. In summary: carburettors are only freshly cleaned and adjusted. Symptomatics as if there were problems with d I am most grateful for every hint! Greetings, Yannick

Suzuki GSR750 does not start after driving
I went on vacation in the Czech Republic today. I looked at a bit of something. It started again and again. I turn on a bigger lap. Drive to the accommodation. At the garage I turn off the machine. If she wanted to drive into the garage then she suddenly didn’t jump on. Check is in the cockpit. Light is on. But otherwise you don’t hear anything. What can I exclude on site? Since well-known only 80km would have to drive. Before I ask, I want to exclude the simple things. Got 98 petrol. Had it before 800km to change oil and brake fluid in a workshop. Was also checked. Was everything all right.

Suzuki Bandit 1200 s runs only on 3 cylinders
Moin my bandit runs all at once only on 3 cylinders, are known problems with the ignition coil. Is a 03/01. It started all of a sudden still without problems and dangers. Today I wanted to turn a round and I need already 30min. until it ran at all, I thought first tank empty. But that was not the problem. We had completely cleaned carburettor about 4 weeks ago, and I had an added filter in it that I removed. Greeting and thank you already for the Ti pps andi295

Sprocket change – legal?
Hello! Just before I ask the question: I passed my A2 driver’s license yesterday. And my father has a Suzuki dr 650 SE from 1999. This has 32 kW and an unladen weight of 165 kg, which results in a power weight of 0.20. This means that I can drive it with the A2 driver’s license. Now my father said he changed the pinion. Original has the machine 15 teeth in front and back 41 and he said that now the machine has 14 teeth in front and 43 in back. l? Thus it should be better machine in the passage, but at the final speed a little slower. Bzw. if it is legal, you have to register this change? or can I drive with it without hesitation? The machine actually gets slower by this change than the entered final speed. He meant that he ordered this kit: https://www.louis.de/…/10048000?… So to break all this down: I want to make sure that everything is legal and I don’t bleme. And my driver’s license is not endangered. Would look forward to professional answers!

Engine goes off while driving.
I then typed a defect battery and then tried it with another battery, with the same result. Also the measured values are almost identical. However, since my car drives without any problems with the second battery, I ruled out the battery as a source of error. I also noticed that both cables on the battery become very hot when I press the starter. Now to my question: What could the problem be? e however, do not explain why the motorcycle runs out when it is fully driven. The Lima can not (only) be, otherwise the machine would still start with a fully charged battery.

Need help and advice with SV 650 engine
I have implanted a Suzuki SV 650 engine in a Hyosung GT 650 S. Engine has 3 contacts including idle contact and no secondary air system think time is max. EZ 2003. I have installed the Hyo sockets and carburettors. Fit plug and play. I finished it at the beginning of the week. Test run-clean started and run evenly and calmly. Then test drive country road approx. 50 kilometers. No real acceleration. Like approx. 27 to 30 horses. Had to be actually bitier because of the larger Hyo carburetor. But otherwise good gas acceptance. Then Friday 2nd test drive in the mix. Of which 60 km highway. From 1st to 3rd gear unsatisfactory acceleration as at 1st test drive. All gears above U/min max 6000 and Km/h max 140 with downhill, tailwind and pub in sight. Choke pull for more fuel – minimal improvement. Other problem : Temperature indicator in the cockpit shows nothing. At the temperature sensor on the thermostat lie e whether cold or warm 5 V. Thanks in advance. Peter
