  • Agritechnica 2009 Hannover

Moin, from November 10th to 14th, the Agritechnica 2009 takes place in Hanover. So far there are around 2000 exhibitors, spread over 320,000 square meters2. I could not find out which products exactly there can be found. So far only (also biggest attraction for me) knows that John Deere is exhibiting the new 8 R product range there. Further tractor manufacturers: – John Deere – AGCO (Fendt and Massey Ferguson) – JCB – CNH (Case IH, New Holland, Steyr) – Lindner – Claas – Same, Deutz – Zetor If Fendt is exhibiting the new 800 Vario series there, I’m sure I’m there. If everything runs smoothly until then, it won’t be a big problem with the arrival. Who of you comes to Agritechnica? Greetings

  • Advantages or disadvantages of single or double axle trailers

Moin, wanted to ask, what are the advantages and disadvantages of the individual concepts of the trailers. I personally see at the moment only a serious difference between the types of trailers, and that is shunting. For single-axle trailers it is relatively easy, I personally do not have it so yet to rank it backwards. There are certainly other conceptual advantages and disadvantages. Greeting Mirco

  • What about these tractors?

My neighbor, former master over 70, wanted to buy a small tractor for the care of his fruit plots, since he had only one Honda single axle so far and the mowing with bar knife becomes too difficult for him! Now he had brought me the days brochures of these two manufacturers among others:http://cgi.ebay.de/…etoryZ29094QQsssPageNameZWDVQQrdZ1QcmdZViewItemhttp://www.sartrac.com/ I personally am absolutely not convinced of these parts, I have already looked at the Lenar in real!I had instead advised him to a used Fendt/Deutz/Eicher/Krieger or Massey narrow track tractor, which one gets with a good 10 years also for this price! How do you see this?

  • Allow tractor as self-propelled working machine

It’s just that the tractor has a maximum speed of more than 20 km/h. It’s not the same as the tractor. It’s not the same as the tractor. It’s the same as the tractor. • Clutch fixed

Servus, with my Hanomag Perfect 401, after 4 months of service, the clutch was stuck in the indented state. I couldn’t switch to idle. It only went after a few attempts when I uncoupled during the ride. What’s that on? What can be broken?

  • Tractor design, round or angular?

Moin, if you look at current tractor rows of either Fendt, John Deere, Claas etc., then the tugs are getting rounder and rounder. At Fendt, for example, the Favorit series were all squared while the new Vario series is getting rounder and rounder. At JD, for example, the 7010 series also stands out as clearly squared compared to the 7020 or 7030 series. Just a design game or is there any particular reason behind it? The Cw value will probably not be decisive. How do you look, do you prefer classic square or modern and round?

  • Ad-Blue/Trailer Massey-Ferguson 8690

Hello, we have the purchase of a new tractor with 370hp (Massey Ferguson 8690), which has a 50 litre “ad-blue” tank which has to be refueled with every 2nd tank. Now I’m stupid but I don’t find a price for a litre of ad-blue (urea) or a supplier of this stuff…. Where do truck drivers actually get this urea? What happens if the tank is empty? Does it still run or does it just stop? I have only found out up to now that Ad-Blue costs 6% of the diesel costs of the respective vehicle … mfG into the truck round, Tom

  • Tractor Forum

Moin, Andy has touched on the topic in his blog today and I already dealt with it a while ago. It’s about tractors and the question whether it makes sense or whether there is interest in a separate forum. The basic interest is certainly there, as one can see from Andy’s and my article (always over 3500 hits). Please constructive criticism on the topic and please do not write that it belongs to the commercial vehicle forum. Greeting Mirco

  • Mowers for meadow

I wanted to ask for suitable recommendations for a mower. I estimate the growth of the mower at a height of 60-80 cm on grass and weeds, in between sometimes a few blackberry vines or occasionally small shoots of woody plants. A piece of the meadow has a slope length of about 20°. If possible, the mower should be able to lie mulched. I wanted to mower 3-4 times a year. I thought on a hand-managed meadow mower with an antr Ieb or a Schlegelmulcher. Do you have some good suggestions? Of course, the whole thing should also be affordable.

  • STIGA Mounting mower, misignition

Moin Moin, my STIGA seat mower, 12.5 hp, bend handlebar, built in 2002 with mulch mower runs like a 1. Every year maintenance, oil change, candle etc. My problem is this after the mow, when I put the mower out, about 2 seconds after the parking by key, there is a last combustion. There comes then a very loud bang out of the exhaust, partly also a flame. But it is only a bang! It also doesn’t matter if I put it off right after the mow or if I put it down a little bit with lower What can that be? Greeting Sven
