  • Problems with Tecumseh OHV 11,5 HP

Hi, maybe one of you can help me further. The problem is a Tecumseh OHV in a 11.5 HP MTD lawn tractor. The engine spings well, runs briefly and then goes out again. The following works were done: tank cleaned, fuel filter renewed, spark plug replaced. In the carburetor some rubber rings were swollen, instead of a rep set it was completely replaced for a new part. Fuel flows more than enough to the carburetor, the float chamber is also vol. l. The ignition spark is regular and nice blue. The air filter is clean, the battery is full. After a problem-free cold start the engine dies after approx. one minute and is difficult to start and then after a few seconds to go out again. Until the sudden death it runs clean and without any signs, then suddenly to go out – as if it were switched off. If you put a few drops of petrol into the intake tract, the engine starts immediately, but after a few seconds– when the fuel is burned out again. When the engine is running, the full speed is 3000 rpm, the idle is almost 1800 rpm (measured). The dealer is at the end with his Latin and I honestly also wrote. Who of you has an idea? Thanks in advance.

  • Roll for V-belts for lawn mowers Grizzly BRM 56 BSA

Meal, with my lawn mower I had problems with the wheel drive. There was only one cracking when pulling the lever but nothing moved. I could not push around curves with the mower either, because then a wheel blocked. Then I changed both wheel gears and now everything works. In the course of this I also once cleaned it properly, because even under the covers has collected a lot of grass. Now to the actual problem. The mower is now apparently so clean that the belt on the roller that sits on the motor shaft slips through. One can pull the belt through with the hand. If the engine runs therefore nothing does itself. Now there are two possibilities. Either the belt tension is too low or the roll has entered. Since one can definitely NOT adjust the belt tension, the guess is therefore the roll. But: How do I change the thing?! Get it as a spare part without problems but how do I get the cursed e thing from the motor shaft down? There is absolutely no way, at least I don’t see them to remove the knife holder, so you can’t get the roll down either. Should you take the whole engine apart?!

  • Güldner AX8 turns high uncontrollably

Hello, a nice shock to the evening was that earlier… I just wanted to let our old Güldner warm up for oil change. Turns however uncontrolled high. The suffering then somehow ended after I could grasp some clear thoughts after feeling shock-rigid again.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sst8AQYcMc What can be the reason for this? Engine type Güldner LX 0.6l 1 cylinder 11PS Bosch injection pump, type: PFR 1 K 70/76/7 The previous day he ran still completely norma l, I had just been to the Dekra to renew the HU that had already expired in 2017. Then I tried it again with my grandpa and directly armed to take the air away from him. At the next attempt directly again uncontrollable turn up (so keep on the tip between and rather run away and wait). And the realization, no matter how good one holds, he does not go out. However, the haunting was again suddenly over again. We then agreed on it tomorrow further z But my grandpa couldn’t let it go. In short. Now he’s back to normal as if he never was anything. Now I don’t think you have to discuss that this can’t happen again (!). Especially since the second time acoustically already a speed range was clearly above full throttle and the engine can certainly destroy much faster by breaking off the conrod or something similar than one is nice. Where would you like to start with the search? Possible without an uncalculable Is it possible to take a risk?

  • Briggs & Stratton 5 HP on Viking engine chip VM 501 * Carburettor setting

Hello together, with the above-mentioned machine it is slowly but steadily downhill with the engine power. The engine finally became more and more sensitive. That’s enough if the hack shaft comes into contact with a stone and dies off. Can only be started if a train with closed cold start flap is made. For season 2018 it became a ticking worse and now the machine is no longer mobile. I then screwed around at the nozzle and also the centrifugal force regulator somewhat manip The engine has about 10 – 15 seconds of full power and then breaks in. When the hack shaft is switched off, it catches itself again, but does not get the power anymore and dies off when the hack shaft is coupled in. 30 seconds pause and then 10 -15 seconds of full power are possible again. Been listening to me after lack of fuel. Ergo carburettor taken out and inspected. The long intake filter was totally dirty. Since I made up a clear error source. I was convinced that with a new filter the problem would have been solved. Unfortunately, not the case, to put it exactly, absolutely no change. The carburettor was rebuilt and made ready by the Lama. After the suffering story it immediately waved off and expressed itself so that the carburettor is scrappy. For a good 50 € there was flutscheeuen and if it were done with it everything would be in butter. Unfortunately, with the new carburettor again absolutely no improvement occurred. I am with my la If someone has any idea where the fault might be. On the carburetor there is only one mixing nozzle to adjust or I have missed something. The Lama got me off because at least 14 days waiting until I am on it. He also has no way to put the thing in the dirt and without load the engine runs. I assume that if the engine brings 10 seconds of power, mechanically i. order. Compression measurements should be due to the centrifugal force regulation. The machine is about 30 years old. Engine data: Briggs & Stratton 5 HP; 4 beat; Model: 130 292 Type: 1646 – 01 Code: 820 614 07 Hope someone has an idea and can help me. My thanks are certain!
