Hello, I have a mini excavator with Yanmar engine. It suddenly doesn’t start. Ignition (preglow) works audible. However, nothing happens when the ignition key is turned on. The starter doesn’t make a sound. Instead, the main fuse (40A) burns. The starter has 1,1kW. At 12V, 90A should flow here, i.e. the current for the starter probably doesn’t go over the fuse. I would therefore exclude the starter myself. I beat the starter relay to this effect. If the impedance of the coil matches the data sheet, it should leave about 0.1A here. What else could lead to this high current? Does anyone know advice? Stephan

Hello together, on recommendation I now turn to the specialists here in the forum: With a new Viking Lawnmower MB 655YS I tried as prescribed after the first 8 operating hours to make an oil change. But the oil hardly came out, neither with warm nor cold engine, over the oil exhaust screw expired, at most 0.1l. I also tipped the device of course. During the later refilling too much oil was filled. Afterwards with the device worked et, but the wheel drive doesn’t work anymore. Later I removed the overcrowded oil by tilting the device via filler nozzle, but the wheel drive doesn’t do anything anymore. As far as I can see the rope pull works, so at least there has not been anything hanging out or anything. Unfortunately I can’t go to the next Endres base, because I live in Madagascar and this device was sent to me. Besides, I’m not exactly an engine specialist, so I hope that I’m here ever and can help! With many thanks in advance J.

Hi, I got a very well-preserved Sabo43-4E. Year 1999 with nem briggs & stratton 12F807 (Quantum 5.0) Only flaw, jumped badly and ran badly. So – carburettor (498965) cleaned, seals new – spark plug new – air filter new – tank cleaned, half meadow and water in it… Now it starts at first tacks, but starts to saws/violin as soon as the idle control comes into play. So once more carburettor disassembled, checked, but nothing to find. Ande The carburettor of nem 1996er 12S802 is running. What the hell am I looking at? The carburettor looks like licked 🙁 If I turn it a little fatter over the Choke lever, the sawing is also gone, so there must be some fuel shortage. But I don’t know how I can influence this with the carburettor. What else I noticed. The 12F807 has felt significantly less compression than my 12S802. Feels when pulling over the starter rope. Hello to our mower the engine doesn’t start any more. Starter tries to turn but only creates small pieces. This has been done the mower for a long time but has always jumped in between then. Starter was supplied directly from the car with electricity to exclude the battery, brought no change. Starter removed, it turns fast. Question is now whether the starter has a Macke or the engine? Hello, the drive of my Royal suddenly doesn’t function anymore. If you push with the hooked-in clutch, the drive grabs up for a little moment and then falls out again; there are also noises. Now I want to expand the drive, but I don’t know how and where to start. The Bowden train disappears in the housing (from above), but I can’t find access from below where it is mounted on the transmission or how to get to the transmission at all. The shafts of the two rear wheels run into a black plastic box (probably the gearbox), but I do not see any connection to the coupling rope and do not understand the whole principle correctly.
