  • Lifespan Alfa Romeo 147 Distinctive

Hello! I’m just a small step away from buying a used 147 Distinctive. My question now is: how many kilometers does the engine last with normal use? Is at 250,000 tending to end and all the repairs are going on or what can you expect? Many greetings and thanks already for the answer(s)

  • 0 to 100 km/h and 1/4 mile, find the 156 a little tired

Hi all, as I said before, it’s my first Alfa. I like the car, looks good and drives well. Has a good sound and doesn’t consume much. But, I think the 155hp are a bit oversized. Mine’s quite tired with a low speed and not particularly spin-like when pulling up. So in the stand it has a core sound and is also spin-like between 1000 and 5000 rpm in short gas bursts. Now I’m a bit spoiled, but nevertheless I find the Alfa quite sluggish and lame. The factory specification 0 to 100 km/h 8,8sec my time 12,5sec The factory specification 0-400m 16,5 sec. my time 19,0sec. My Alfa has run 95000km which is not necessarily sucked out. Exception? Where could it be? Or general problem? How are your values and experiences? PS: please spare me with this Sufu Sch……., then kick me better. I would like to talk to you and not rummag into any dusty files.

  • alfa 147 timing change?

Hello people! Timing belt change yes or no? Data about my Alfa: Alfa 147 1.6 Twin Spark Eco Year of manufacture: 10/2005 Performance: 77kW Benzina Kilometer level today: 99.700km Last timing belt change: 10/2008 at 50.800km, then with oil change, WaPu, maintenance Now my question to you: 1) When should I have the timing belt change? 2) What should I do immediately? 3) How much would that cost me in “Vienna”? Thank you already in advance for tips, experiences! mfg checki Edit: I also used the SuFu, but I didn’t get smart about it because the contributions contradicted at ZR change at 60tkm or 5 years or 3 years. I would just like to know from you what is current at the moment, best without contradictions. =)

  • Alfa 156 2.5 V6 Timing belt change with pump for 549,- Euro at ATU realistic?

Hello, since I bought an Alfa 156 2.5 V6 with which the timing belt has to be made, I have looked around in the normal case I always see prices from 1000,- Euro to 1400,- Euro depending on whether with pump or without etc. But now I have come across something very interesting on the ATU page on the Internet. If I choose my vehicle there and click on the timing belt change tells me the page it would cost me 549.99 with pump without pump even only 429.99 Euro. I really think this is very cheap if not unrealistic, but ATU has such offers for all cars of the package class no matter which. Now the question if I book the online at this price and then drive with the Alfa there to the workshop have to do that at the course also or ? BZW. or can it be that they do that and then in the next one I have to pay double or how does the ? well has shcon who got the information about it. ^^ ^ mfgg

  • Purchase advice alfa 156

Hi, I’m looking for a purchase advice for an Alfa Romeo 156, I always don’t drive my cars much longer than 1 to 2 years and then I’ll get something new, so far I’ve had almost only Audi models, but now I’ve driven almost every Audi that was built in the 80s and 90s and I don’t like the newer ones and would like to drive something else. I really like the Alfa 156 visually very much and I always wanted to drive one, but I don’t even know about Alfa models at all and know 0 what I have to pay attention to when buying them. I don’t know whether I’m looking for a Limo or a sports car at the moment, I’d like both of them at the moment, I’d like to decide spontaneously depending on what I find myself, but it’s important to me that it’s a model before the Facelift of 2003 because I don’t like the newer optically anymore. I’d like to have either the 2.5 V6 or the 2.4 JTD of course have a dream of the 3.2, but I don’t want to realize it with the budget of almost 3000 Euro.

  • Search cared for Alfa 156

Hello guys, as I mentioned here a few times, I would like to drive an Alfa 156er. Now the plans have become more concrete and I am looking for a well-kept 156er. The official used car portal of Alfa (alfadue.de) is not accessible for a while now, so I am looking at well-known car exchanges. Whether Limo or SW is not so important, both think nice, decisive is the good condition of care. As motorization I have decided for 2.0 JTS, because from my point of view this offers a good compromise of power and economy. The budget is about €4k, if really everything is right, I would go up to max. €5k. The following criteria should be met: – Facelift, so from BJ 2003 – Up to about 150 tkm – service booklet-pflegt – From max. 2. Hand – No selespeed, only switch – leather equipment, all colors ok, only not red – BOSE would be nice-to-have, but must not necessarily be I believe that was already a favorite here 15 have become darker in Dortmund.

  • Clutch slips!?

Hello people! Would you like to introduce me briefly to 39 years old and live in Austria. After a long time I bought a giulietta 2.0 jtdm 140 ps with 65.Tkm from first possession with great equipment super edition.I picked it up yesterday and drove about 100km to home (autobahn) and then I noticed that the clutch slips always only between 2200u/3000u actually in every walk only in cityvekehr is it hardly to be felt since you always undertourer rides.because I was with sufu with found was I ask here if this is a well-known giulietta problem? I have often heard about alfa romeo with clutch problems but with the new models still still? I still did a test carried out with 3 course in the stand brake slowly let come after a little more than half pedal way to the top is the motor almost gone and at 3/4 the engine then also did not slip. now the question of the higher number of turns is taken up and the next time the big mistake is over again said.

  • Alfa 156, 2.4 JTD engine problem

Hello. I would like to give you the most important technical data of the car for the best. It is a 156 SW with 2.4 JTD. Has proud 290.000 km on the clock and ran up to the following problem great. Year of construction is 2002. Now to the problem: If I walk at over 2000 rpm off the gas, it just goes out and tells me “error engine monitoring system. Visit workshop”. The same happens often when I walk with inserted gear from the gas. If I drive it very undertour (never over 1500 rpm) he drives without problems. A error reading unfortunately did not bring any codes (even read out). Now I have read a little bit, and I have often stumbled over it, the similar problems caused by the OT-gber. How can I check this? Also I noticed that the temperature never rises above 70°C, is that normal? MfG
