Hello together, am here still new.. Meanwhile I am almost in despair ?? I drive an Alfa 156 2.5 V6 24V with 141kw Year of construction 2002 Meanwhile I have invested quite a lot of coal but with a problem I am not at all right at all. It creepingly occurred that my Alfa when giving gas completely goes out as if someone had pulled the plug (with 180 on the highway no fun 🙁 ) I go from the accelerator pedal he sometimes comes back again. Sometimes he shows errors like VDC times he does not make any error in the memory. The engine control light flashes fast at the start and extinguishes as soon as the engine runs…but often he also does not jump at all. The friendly also does not come forward and taps on engine control unit as with coffee set read. Does someone know how I could proceed there or what I have to consider when changing the engine control unit? Have a used for 450 euros here but then I can build it so easily and then learn with code card? For help I would be really grateful.

Temperature problems Alfa 147 2.0, BJ. 2008
Moin! My name is Ryan and I am originally from Hamburg, but I am currently living in Santiago de Chile. Shortly after my arrival in April this year, I discovered him: my Alfa Rome 147 2.0 Selespeed, grey, year 2008 and a previous owner. I bought him with 44,000 KM, meanwhile we have reached 47,000 KM, still little for a car with 4 years. In the beginning my Alfa is purred, ran dreamlike but since recently there are smaller problems… NEVER know – probably did not treat him too well, discovered a problem and before the fix probably just sold to a dealer and hoped that some stupid one will buy it already. Well, the stupid one is probably me… I received yesterday – on Christmas day – after my last gift purchase the friendly and positive message that the temperature of the engine has reached the maximum. WELCH message and especially the least stressful day of the year… Engine immediately switched off, waiting 20 minutes for the engine to cool down, which is not really easy at 30 degrees, and then I am off to the next gas station to refill coolant.. I after I managed to open the container – yes careful, was not the first time with warm engine – 2 L. Coolant refilled… I thought, yes is perhaps a coincidence, bad day, etc. and I was hoping it will not happen again. This afternoon – the night was a little longer – I wanted to move my car then, thought to myself but for the sake of security I will look… Who knows what’s coming now? Right, there was no liquid again (photos available and enclosed). I then looked if there was any liquid on the floor of my garage place, but no, since I was with my wife last night with friends. There I called and asked if they somehow have an entire river on your parking space, what you think I was looking for I was with my friends from about 19 to 02 in the morning, had about 1730 2 liters refilled. Between 19 and 02 in the morning the whole liquid must have slipped out somehow again… Since I don’t really understand much of cars, even less of Alfas – yes, I want to change, but not so easily with foreign language (Spanish) and then also with an Alfa – thought I could, if possible, take your help. I have a photo. taken from the refrigerated water tank so that you can see that this one is completely all and a few photos of under my car.. Which one photo – I don’t know what that part is called, would be nice if I could help out there jmd – looks relatively suspicious… looks a little oily or slimy if I’m not mistaken. Is that normal? To get ahead of it, I try to narrow down a little what my problem might be, because the repairs on an Alfa cost here a little bit. Heidengeld (the exchange of my spark plugs cost me 600 euros)…. I am happy about every tip or contribution. Thank you and Merry Christmas

Purchase advice for an Alfa Romeo Giulietta 2,0 JTDM
Hello, after a long time back and forth whether it should be a BMW 1 or a Mazda, I finally decided for an Alfa Romeo Giulietta. My budget is at max.15,000€, whereby I would be 13-14,000€ optimal. I would commute 110Km daily (back and forth) to work. My wish would be to drive the car for at least 4-5 years. I have found the following offer and would like to test drive:http://suchen.mobile.de/…/205499357.html?… Wal do you keep from the offer ?. Is the price too high ? . Are there any other known defects with the Giulietta which should be taken care of before the purchase ?. What other costs are to be expected with this driving performance and age in the near future ?. Are workshop visits generally expensive ?. About a short assessment on your part I would be very grateful.

Questions about the MiTo, especially the TCT transmission and the 1.4 MultiAir Turbo engine
Buon giorno! I’ve used the search but not found too much about the MiTo. Or I’m too stupid I’m thinking of buying a new MiTo next year in spring. I didn’t want to get any Italian after my FIAT anymore but worse than with my VW. I think the MiTo is very chic. It’s supposed to be the 1.4 with 139 hp and TCT [there’s no other way?] or the QV with 170 hp [there isn’t at the moment]. o Driving fun? I’m not interested in straight bolting on the highway. Does the TCT transmission have any flaws? What about durability? What is the stability of the 1.4 MultiAir? Does the chain or timing belt have? Wechesel interval? And to the MiTo in general: Is there anything that bothers you and you only noticed after the purchase? I once had a car where the radio reception was underground… Other problems and flaws? Ciao e grazie The Gas Warden

Timing belt change Alfa Romeo 147 1.9 JTD 16V
Hello people =)) I am at an Alfa Romeo 147 1.9 JTD 16V and would like to know something about the timing belt change ! Prehistory: I was torn from the yard with 5-6km/h when driving backwards =((( of course I screwed down the valve cover see 2 tipping levers broken ! I opened the cover pulled out the defective timing belt and saw that the V-belt has loosened like spaghetti and wrapped itself firmly at the bottom of the KW au so on the alternator also ! I made everything of course clean so far ready for the new timing belt and 2 new tilting levers. When dismantling the tensioning roller I noticed that the threaded rod is loose so can be easily moved back and forth is that normal ??? ??? ??? ( threaded rod where tensioning roller comes on it ) Of course I change tensioning roller, deflection / guide roller and water pump ! I know you have chewed this topic very often =))) but I want to vo n you know could have survived the valves ? Can I just renew the tilt lever and go on ???? MFG

[Alfa 147] Oil cover torn off with thread!
Hi, I think I’m hit by the blow, on the last turn in front of my parking space, the display flashes towards me something of oil pressure. Set off I open the bonnet (oil stand only 1 week ago controlled: full!) and don’t trust my eyes! How can something like this happen? I guess that at least 1 liter of oil is out. Probably more like it. And I still thought, when starting, it sounds so funny, if I had looked. Maybe I can now fit into the ranks of the TwinSpark engine damage. It can be so fast.

147 sales
Hey, you guys, I’m usually on the road at Motor-Talk in other areas, but I’m just selling my sister’s 147s. I’ve been in Mobile and Autoscout24 for 3 weeks now, and actually didn’t call a single serious buyer. Of course, the usual bad stuff. Now, of course, the question is why? The car was from the start in comparison to the other offers with similar data already in the cheaper area, because it was in front of the described Now I have reduced the price once again by 200 €. It is the following offer:http://suche.mobile.de/…/showDetails.html?… Did I make any mistakes? Or is that simply unsaleable? I mean the car has everything that was expensive and fun, and that at a bargain price. Many maintenances and renewals have just been made. This search shows other vehicles with similar data, since the car is currently the 4th Cheapest!http: //bit.ly/9vX3oO I don’t have to get rid of it quickly, but as long as he stands around and costs maintenance he won’t get better either. So maybe someone knows what it is.

Alfa GTV (916) Idle speed too high + squeezing in thrust
Hello Alfa friends! After a relatively long history of suffering (workshop, forums, workshop, forums, forums, forums…) my Alfa GTV (916, 1.8 TS, Bj 1999, 106,000 km) has a new problem again… Now that my idle run has been sawing for months now, the idle has suddenly been much too high for 2 days (2,000 rpm). This especially in warm condition! I also noticed that he is quite jerking when taking gas away (rubbing operation). Lambdasonde, thermostat and spark plugs wurd The throttle valve has also been cleaned. By the way, engine control lamp has never lighted up and it has never gone out (happily) either. Starting it does without problems… I’ve already read countless forum posts, but somehow it could be a lot. I’ve got an appointment in the workshop tomorrow, but before it buttoned me off again 300 euros, I wanted to make myself smart again and with your help narrow down the mistake. So what do you mean, what about it? LMM? Temperatürsensor? Or something completely different? Thank you for your help! Greetings, Dominik
