  • Injector sits tight like welded in…

Moin in the round… From now on the Bella (2.4 JTDM, 2008 in front of Mopf) switched into the emergency run. Error reading showed that the injector Zly. 1 intermittently suspends. Errors deleted and started, runs round until you tap the accelerator. Then again emergency run and error code. Conclusion: Injector No. 1 must be defective. In the bay a replacement part worried. Everything (pratch screw, overflow line, supply line) solved, but the beast moves even after two hours wobbled, kl Opfe and didn’t drag an μ. Does anyone else have a tip on how to get that painted thing out? Thank you in advance, Lawrence

  • Purchase advice 159 2.4 JTDM

Hello I play with the idea to buy an Alfa159 2.4 JTDM 20V sportwagon from BJ. 2007. Have already read something in the topic AGR and Swirlklappen problems. Think, however, that the simplest solution, regardless of the condition, install a new suction bridge, deactivate the AGR and the Swirlklappen, ready. Does not cost the world. Question: do all diesel engines have a DPF? Or is the DPF special accessory? Is the DPF only installed from a certain year of construction? Did the DPF expand and program if available? Note: (if everything is independent of the registration, since it becomes an export vehicle ) Then another question about the automatic transmission. Is this stable or should you rather use the manual transmission? Which weak point does the 159er have even where you should pay attention to it? Greetings and thanks already

  • Giulietta – Clacking when switching / changing loads!

Dear Alfista, My car bought a few days ago is cracking and it’s annoying! Well,… I switched from BMW to Alfa Romeo. Not only did my BMW often cause problems with automatics, no, but I didn’t want to see the same car at every corner all the time. I’ve had a Giulietta as a 120 hp gasoline engine for 7 days now. I’ve been looking at the beauty of the car for a long time, and it’s always been a shocking reputation. Since BMW, both the first and my second, likes to have a problem. e prepared, I dared to buy an Alfa. I drove my last BMW as an automatic, now the Giulietta again as a manual circuit. At first I thought I did not drive a switch for too long. Constantly inserting in the gear comes a “crack”. Even if I simply speed up without having to domes. I quickly found like-minded people on the Internet, which calmed me down, because the noise is not a luxury worry that I talk to myself worse than it is. you know it from switches in 30s zones, when one is standing on the right in front of the left, that it then cracks, maybe because you drive so undertouring… Anyway, I have read a lot of things, about defects in the gearbox, pressure plates etc. pp. Many things have been changed, but with an unchanged background of noise. Now my question; is there someone out there who reads this and knows the problem and knows what it has on them? e i am happy with answers! Dear Greeting Julez!

  • An Alfa owner more

Today I hit after a long car search and enjoyed an Alfa Romeo 159. The beautiful car is a 1.9 liter diesel with Q-Tronic transmission. Already during the test drive I got used to the really pleasant automatic, in contrast to my old E39 530dA a masterpiece of technology. Now a few detail questions, there are several series of the car, approval date is 30.01.2008 First approval 16.04.2009. The dealer has the year of construction with 04/2009. If I enter the FIN number on a website (do not know if I may post) I will be shown Production Date 2009-03-18, was the car built on March 18, 2009 or how can I understand that? The exact name of the car is Alfa Romeo 159 Alfa 1,9 JTDM 16V Sportiva Qtronic, unfortunately I find almost nothing about the term Sportiva, is this a line of equipment? About a “Facelift” (are apparently rather small changes instead of a big facelift), find t you also very contradictory statements, from small changes to the control panel of the air conditioning system up to a different behavior at the start button (just press 1x instead of hold on) or that you can open the trunk also at the back of the emblem (which unfortunately I did not pay attention to during the test drive). Maybe you can help me bring some light into the dark. I already say thank you and wish everyone a pleasant weekend, Emyr

  • Finally, proud owner of an Alfa Romeo 159 … (Have a few questions)

Hello, I bought the Alfa Romeo 159 2.4 JTDM (used) yesterday. The car is actually in a top condition with regard to engine etc., nevertheless I noticed a few things only today. 1. The seat heating on the driver’s side does not seem to work. I have read that maybe a not properly connected plug is the cause, where can I find the connection of the seat heating? Maybe only the fuse is broken? The fuse box is in the trunk or ? Which do I have to check there? Should I perhaps complain to the car dealer and that again? Have a little thought about it, it says “bought as seen” 2. The lid from the switch of the electric outdoor mirror (picture 2) is no longer there, there is such a thing after buying without having to take the whole console immediately (which costs already around the 80€) 3. Can one find somewhere used map material for the Naviteq navigation device? 139€ for 2 CD I find personally übertri Is there also something like a Firmeware update for the car radio? So, that’s it for now… Greeting Florian

  • Alfa Mito 155 hp surrending sound, which is the

Hello people, have bought me a Mito Tjet 155 PS Bj 2009 from a car dealership everything really tip-top, even new tires with it, 8 times tyres also got new TÜV. Vehicle is first hand with original 60,000 km. I also got a used car GARANTIE extra to it. My wife already drives a Mito with 95 HP. Where I looked at the car, I didn’t think anything about it, since I never had a car with turbocharger, I could not know if this is normal, since is t a whirring noise in the engine compartment, could that be the turbocharger? Have only had a vehicle with turbocharger before, so I could not get a picture on site whether this is normal or not? Engine sounds great, clutch also, it goes well, would say full power he definitely has, only this buzzing makes me worry about something, can it be the turbo? Timing belts were made in 2015, oil change in June. Auto dealership means it’s all ok, since I don’t have such a sound nne I want to be sure, seller said if what should be I should report. I remember the sound of a defective light engine, or like a remote controlled toy car. I could record it so that you have an idea. Can you have a turbocharger tested in the built-in state? What do you think about what noise it is. Thank you

  • Indicator lamps in AI

Hello Alfisti, unfortunately I am not so familiar with the technology of your very beautiful cars, therefore the following question: with the Giulietta (2.0 l diesel) of my daughter, when the ignition is switched on in AI, all the tell-tale lights light up and extinguish shortly afterwards, except for engine control and oil (see appendix). The two then go out again only after starting the engine. This is not supposed to have been the case originally, all the tell-tale lights would have died before starting. I’d like to help her, but I can’t judge this with the Alfa. For a feedback already thank you in advance and greeting Stefan

  • Alfa Romeo 159 reliable?!

Hey guys, I’m thinking about getting an Alfa Romeo 159 because I like it visually and, depending on the motorization, makes a sporty impression. Since I don’t want to go to the workshop all the time, it would be great if the thing were also reasonably confident. What about it? Does someone have experiences would be great if they could share them, and of course if the assessment with the sportiness is true.

  • BOSE plant in MiTo: Removes all clarity!

I’m looking for someone who knows the BOSE system in the MiTo (Bj. 2011). My girlfriend absolutely disagrees with the performance (rightly). However, the unanimous opinion in all the contributions I have found seems to be that a BOSE system is not expandable and can only be replaced completely. The front system would have an impedance of 2 ohms and would overload any other radio. The subwoofer, in turn, would have to be supplied with reduced level, would take damage at a conventional speaker output. Business-grade shops offer for this purpose a “BOSE Active System Adapter” and claim that one can operate any radio with it. After I came through the research on no green branch, I just got rid of it yesterday and took out the original blue point radio. See there! 2 normal ISO plugs in standard placement, just no ignition plus. In addition an ISO and a Fakra antenna connection. (If there are only 4 loudspeaker channels, how should the Woofer get a low signal?) anyway, I didn’t have a short time to talk about it!

  • Used Mito purchase advice

Hello, I’m new here in the forum. I have an Alpha Romeo Mito built in 2010. I tested this one here today:https://suchen.mobile.de/…/276322108.html?action=parkItem On Mobile it is listed for 6990€, it costs at the dealer but 7387€ (with 12 months warranty) I had it checked by a mechanic for a short time. He recommended that I change the brake pads and said that the dealer can go down to 700€ without losing. The car should have only run 41tkm. The timing belt was changed in 2015. Can you tell me what I should keep in mind when buying it? The car was in good condition and also the mechanic said that the 41tkm seems quite realistic. Since the steering wheel was not pulled off strongly and the seat still showed no great wear. I just don’t know if the purchase is really worthwhile. And if the car is not too expensive for me in the maintenance. Can you tell me more?
