Hello all, the cover of my Spider (bj. 86) is still original. Unfortunately, it is now so slowly tearing out on one or other outer edge. Also a crack between the rear window and the cover material has formed. Has someone changed the cover with his Alfa before ? can you make that yourself ? where do I get a cover ? what do you do with it when you change the cover ? (screws …) Thank you very much for your help and many greetings Jörg

Buy Alfa Romeo Spider 3.0 V6 Original 76000 km
Original 76,000 km 05/1997 EZ 141 kW (192 hp) Good condition, timing belt new, accident-free, only small scratches, tires good. I read here that the 8V has a higher maintenance effort, but what basically speaks against such a vehicle? It is black with red leather equipment and should cost according to offer 4590,- Euro. What should I pay special attention to during the visit? What should I ask the owner absolutely? I would make use of my check booklet at the KM number, since it is a proof for the KM stand, but otherwise?

Alfa GTV 3.0 V6 24V Recommendation
Hello dear Alfa driver, have seen at a dealer a GTV 3.0 with 220hp, beautiful, with 4 tube Ragazzon exhaust, leather 108tkm, very well maintained and maintained. Timing belts have already been made. The car is supposed to cost just 650€, which is very cheap for this performance. It is Built 99 and 2nd hand But somehow everyone advises me from Alfa, all say, shit, fingers off, there are always the engines broken and and and, but of the people does not have an Alfa, everyone has heard this only once somewhere:-) On the net it says that the 3.0 should be very robust and good, what is important because I drive 2000KM a month. Is it true that the car is really very maintenance-intensive and that when something comes up, it is very expensive? Does it come from that the car is so cheap??? The money is not the problem, just doesn’t want to invest hundreds of euros in any defects every month. How is the feeling in this car?

Alfa Romeo Gtv V6 TB.
Hello Alfa friends I have bought an Alfa Gtv V6 TB. 2liters Bj.11/95 from first hand, check booklet and complete,I even documented the invoice of the new purchase. So everything was always done with the dealer, where the car was bought also. Ohso, the car has now 125,000 down. the 120s inspection was of course also made first. new exhaust is also on it from trouser tube (including cat), it is also accident-free, now my questions come, hope for many answers. So, how stable is the engine? Turbo? Who can tell me what it costs at Alfa the valve?(All 20,000km) What is the cost of the small service (Oel change) I have the receipts, but there is always only service from the 10,000s to the 120,000s,and what it cost total, mostly tires were there and various other things. So I would like to know what only the oil service costs, and the valve adjustment.

Alfa Spider – Timing belt change?
Guuude Motorfreaks, came to this page while browsing and found out that there is a lot of expertise gathered here. I have a very specific question about my Alfa Spider 2.0 TS (EZ 9/2002): My Bella Maccchina is now about 4.5 years old and has 52,000 km down. My workshop has now meant that you have to change the timing belt at the latest at 60,000 km or at an age of 5 years. Since the proper rod costs money, I wanted to get a second (and third, fourth, …) opinion, whether this is true or if they want to generate only early order. Thank you in advance for your answers Greeting from Main

Alfa 2.0 TS extremely strong engine noise
Hello, maybe there’s one more idea. I bought a used Spider Bj. 2000 with engine damage. The engine jumped normally and ran a little unround in idle. With increased idle and more there are quite loud noises to hear. This one has felt in the cylinder head. It’s not the typical nailing of the phase adjuster. So, after careful checking I noticed that the cable was eaten off from the camshaft sensor. This I soldered again and started the engine again. Now it was that the noises were heard already in idle, besides, you got the impression that the engine somehow jammed easily. It runs so slightly jerky. After that I controlled the stuer times, these were ok. After that I did not dismantle the cylinder head. Head gasket is ok, nowhere burned. I still expanded all 16 valves, no spring broken, no valve crooked, no seat deformed. Everything was fine. The engine block looks very good in the combustion room. The piston can also be overly fixed. The piston shaft has a problem.
