  • What do you want me to do?

I was the proud owner of a 156 2.4 SW. Unfortunately I had a bigger engine damage with almost 119’000km. Blocked water pump, you can think of the rest. The whole costs me CHF 6’000.-. To say is that the Alfa is almost three years old, practically only highway kilometers and all services were always made. The following parts were exchanged under guarantee: suspension rear and front, this with about 80’000km. As a further I had to the clutch and all Stossd ämper replaced and, of course, paid for themselves. I still forgot the cut-off in the battery. Unfortunately, Alfa did not show any coolness in the engine damage and left me standing in the rain. Is this normal ? As a salesman I depend on a reliable car. Do I really have to switch to a German model ? Thank you for your input.

  • proud owner of an Alfas

Hello guys, since yesterday I am proud owner of an Alfa 156 2.0 SW. Now I have heard that Alfas are very needy for care. What do I have to imagine? With my now car I have always checked all the fluid levels and everything else that you can do yourself. I know the story about the timing belt, I have already found a workshop that changes the one for 350€, which I find quite cheap. 1500€ paid. So what do I have to pay more attention to in order to enjoy my Alfa as long as possible? And does anyone still know pages where to find good spare and tuning parts? Thank you

  • 156 – What is this warning?

Moin, had seen this warning yesterday and also this morning shortly after starting. But after a short time the light went out again. In the operating manual the signal is there, where with others (probably not Selespeed Alfas) the sign for the trailer coupling is. Looks a bit like an open trunk flap…? ___________ (———-\—-/ (———\/_______ (——————-) (________________________) Who can tell me what this is and what you should do? Thank you 156e r PS: Unfortunately it always breaks the picture, dashed lines please think away ;o)

  • Hottest exhaust for 155 v6

Moisen! Have a view of 155 V6 and wanted to hear if the 179 Euro ESD is good. I mean about 200 Euro from Remus and Co. Otherwise there is a choice, a Ragazzon… are these the best? Says, what goes well and TÜV expert report / ABE has thanks already

  • Alfa 33 Remodeling the 16V braking system

Hello here is Roland : – ). Have a question. Hope someone can help me further there. I have an Alfa Romeo 33 1,7L ehm. Imola. 1.4 logical. Now I want to get the brake system of a 16V. Has anyone already rebuilt this???????? With the brakes at the front I actually only need the 16V saddle, blocks and discs new of course. Must actually work. But want to have internal ventilated. Is certainly the whole effort at the 16V. Therefore. Now to the rear axle. There wi rd certainly needs the whole axle. What does it look like with the brake lines, these both come to where the tank is sitting. Certainly not running there long. What does the story look like with the hand brake rope and brake power distributor??? My Benkanter means that we are all not so easy. I should leave it with the rear axle, because the car does not build up much braking power at the rear anyway. Thanks already in advance for your contributions.

  • Can you buy Alfa?

In the medium term, I plan to switch to Alfa. You don’t hear anything good about the cars. In planning is the 157 sports car. You probably have also driven other cars: Is the processing much worse compared to MB, BMW and Alfa Can you buy Alfa with a good conscience How are the workshops on average? Are you sitting on a high horse? Thank you for the answers

  • 157 who would?

How. I would like to know who has all the interest in a 157. I myself think just after if a fourth car makes sense (*üstel*) and if then probably a 157 2.4 JTD. Maybe again a V6 if it can only close to my old Röchler. So with me would be the following options: 156 away, 157 V6 ago, 156 2.4 JTD ago 156 V6 + 157 V6 156 V6 + 157 2.4 JTD Well I already have a diesel and I don’t want to give my E class (on the contrary ic h just think about an E 320 CDI V6) and two long-haul cars make sense to me as I and my girlfriend are often on long-haul routes… *grübel* *I get excited about that the V6 gets excited again and again* How do you look?
