  • Your opinion on Alfa 156 2.5 V6

So now I have to ask… Last Monday I saw at an Audi dealer a 97 Alfa 156 2.5. So exactly this one here. 1. Hand, accident-free, makes a well-kept impression, timing belts changed a few months ago etc. .. But since it was already 6 p.m. we could only look at it briefly. Test drive was no longer in. We then just got there again on Tuesday and made up for it. At the same time it was noticeable that the servo sounded funny and degenerated on stage We then added an oil film on the lower engine cover and on the gearbox. When we wanted to discuss this with the master it was also noticeable that the servo oil tank was as good as empty. The explanation of the master for the whole was that all the engine seals and the servo had been renewed, but the oiled stuff just wasn’t cleaned properly. Because it was already late afternoon we agreed that all this would be cleaned until the next day and that we could get When we danced again on Wednesday, we learned that the servo line was probably broken. It would be ordered and the Alfa would be ready again on Friday (that is today). To not drive again for nothing I called today at noon what it looks like. The friendly master explained the line would come at 1.30 pm and he would be ready around 5 pm. But when I drove there again today there was the next problem. Somehow they probably have a tube on the cooler. The Alfa is not finished until next Tuesday. But since I had not had my phone number, I couldn’t be told. What do you think about it? The master and the involved salesman already make a trustworthy impression and were very concerned about me as a potential buyer. At the Alfa I actually had a good feeling. And if it is true that he is resealed and the timing belt has to be almost new m At least not to expect trouble. Or? But all the problems there now… So rather leave your fingers off it or see it as a chance to be able to squeeze the price well?

  • Guarantee or no guarantee?

Hello Who can help me with the following questions? My son bought an Alfa Romeo 156 TS in May 08. Now the seat heating doesn’t work anymore and the triangular handlebar also clatters while driving on a level road. Now he was in the car dealership where he bought the car and after a review he got the answer that the repair price amounts to about 700 €.Do not these defects fall under the used car warranty? So with the seat heating I am almost sure that the unt My first guess where the clapping comes from were the cathedral warehouses but also that he would have to pay himself because they belong to the shock absorber so the statement from the car dealership. Would I be happy if someone could give me some advice on this topic. MfG autodealer

  • Sales figures CH, or why Alfa can’t be so bad!

I found the sales figures of 2006 in the largest Swiss daily newspaper of all well-known manufacturers, and was amazed how high the market share of Alfa Romeo is in Switzerland – quite unlike D! We Swiss seem to know what is good Alfa 4518 Audi 14545 BMW 17214 Citroen 12658 Fiat 9317 Ford 14127 Honda 8767 Mazda 6650 Mercedes 13650 Mitsubishi 4146 Nissan 7198 Opel 20889 Peugeot 13444 Saab 2219 Seat 5532 Skoda 7389 Subaru 9449 Suzuki 5237 VW 30001 Amazing, d ass Alfa with us is partly at eye height with the Japanese. For 2007 Alfa strives for 6000 cars! Maybe someone still has the sales numbers 2006 for D?

  • Should driving up as coercion be punished more strongly? No !!!

I am annoyed by the discussion in the media that too tight driving should be punished as coercion more strongly. But that almost always the front man is to blame, nobody wants to understand from the brainis. If they would not always drive all stubbornly left, you could not drive too close. Even with 3 lanes this happens constantly. They should, if at all, first enforce the right-hand driving bid. Okay, if one of you drives quite briefly to overtake to go over again, would yes But those who think they want to educate the others are in my view the ones who actually need it. We have the opportunity to drive as fast as we want. And what should you do, if you keep too much distance, nobody feels asked to make room. They should introduce minimum speeds for the individual lanes. Left from 180, middle 130-180, right 80-130. How do you see this?

  • Alfa 33

Hi guys 🙂 I got my Alfa 33 on the weekend, a great part 🙂 But now I was with a buddy at the dekra and we looked at the car once exactly, the brakes have to be completely new, the underfloor is on the gutter, the front suspension is totally loose…. I knew the next thing about the car was, oil pressure switch was broken, exhaust, termostat and a wobble in the steering….. I have to call next month to the tuv, can you tell me about what the very whole and what do you have with the car for experiences, so as for the engine……what does it cost unfurnishing a tooth-chilling wechel?? as far as I have heard the whole engine out ?? here is the link to the car http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?… MFG Alfa_33_1,7

  • 156 Sportwagon vs. 407, Primera and Signum

Theme in the carImage 11/2005: Four Lifestyle Combi.ALFA ROMEO 156 Sportwagon 2.0 JTS: The ALFA is a real Romeo, a beautiful car with a temperament and a great 166-hp engine.NISSAN Primera Traveller 2.0: The trunk is the largest in comparison, holds up to 1670 liters. Negative: Circumstances in cockpit operation.OPEL Signum 2.2 direct: Huge travel limousine, class combi. And above all: It secures jobs in Rüsselsheim.PEUGEOT 407 SW 160: The predecessor was a sympathetic truck, d The new one is only Schönling – and not even succeeded. FAZIT: Signum – that is the signature on a certificate. Legally considered. For Opel it is the most beautiful manuscript in the combi class. This can be signed in this way. Even if the Alfa 156 from the outside is still finer than the noble Vectra brother. The Opel wins with the change of perspective: from the outside to the inside. There one discovers ideas that are simply ingenious: movable rear seats, space as in the business c All series. Peugeot and Nissan can’t keep up with it. The primera has been designed differently in the interior without the driver taking advantage of it. On the contrary: the Navi device cannot be operated without a user book. The democratically installed instruments in the middle are only in the perspective but not in the center of the viewer. The Peugeot drives inconspicuously well. But if you want to go forward, you need talents like the signum. The carImage: 1) Opel Signum – 446 points 2) Peugeot 407 – 430 points 3) Nissan Primera – 417 points 4) Alfa 156 – 403 points

  • Alfa 156 1.9JTD too slow and too much consumption

Hello everyone…. so I have now 55`tkm with my “lamen Alfa” 110PS top speed after long start max. 160KM/h.. The Prunto from my girlfriend with 60 HP went off better. After some visits in the Alfa Wekstatt always the same result according to. Car Master – and I don’t know it can be very expensive. Then last week I looked for a free workshop in Gilching on which could immediately tell me the error and the air mass meter was defective. That is a te il from Bosch that measures the mixture Kostet in exchange Euro 261.-.. What I then had built in. And now it goes back like hell and the consumption also dropped by 1.6l per 100km. I hope I could help someone with my experience….. Mighty good Hasta la vista… Thomas

  • Consumption of Alfas

Hello! As nice as I find the current Alfas (especially the current GT or the soon-to-be-appearing 159 (is that so?)) – the consumption figures especially of the strong petrol engines are no longer up-to-date, or…?! If I take the 3.2 V6 as an example – you drive with a 911er more economical through the area… :-/ The 3.2 V6 needs 12.4 liters – my BMW Z3 3.0i with almost as many horses I move (with sporty driving!) with clearly less than 10 liters. Are the Alfa engines drinking like that? Because in today’s fuel prices this is unfortunately a real argument AGAINST a chic Alfa.
