ANY OIL, about 250ml in the MOTOR: VOLUME?
Hello!Have made an oil change about 4 weeks ago.Now I was with my Alfa 1.6l 156 at ATU, since I always store my summer tires there. Now the son safety check took place and the master said that too much oil, about 250ml, are in my car.I had not made oil change at ATU,the shop is only worth it for me to store the tires. He wanted to drain oil now, because of the phase converter, that was bad for that.My phase converter is anyway out of operation and oil he could not get out damage 250ml of oil now to my engine? No connoisseur!

What to consider when buying alfa?
hello, would like to get me a new mobile kit in the next time. in the closer selection is among other things also an alfa romeo 156. my questions about this: what motorization do you recommend to me? (in order to remain far more economical I actually only fluctuate between the 1.6 and the 1.8) which construction years are more susceptible than others? what kind of child diseases does he have? (model-related, recurring errors) what would you price for e.g. a `97 or `98er in gu and with relatively humane mileage (about 100,000 – 120,000) ? many thanks in advance mfg the still astra-driver

166 Security
Hello friends of Italian beauty! I drive a 156 and would like to buy a 166 (from 2004). And I wonder now, how safe is it? There is no crash test for the 156 but I found a crash film on the net, it doesn’t look good at all. Similar to the 147. But about the 166 I find nothing on the net about crash safety. Has anyone any experience with crashes at 166. And if he can still share these experiences with me, one thing is clear: With Alfa, nobody knew anything about it. I couldn’t even be told if the 166 shared the platform with another vehicle. Then I could at least have researched in this direction. So, you’re my last hope here. Thank you. alfa-alfa

Rost 156 kulanz?
Hall young, I would have asked a question about my father’s car, which was changed today in a free workshop the rotten ESD and see there the whole cart is completely guttered down. At the doors there should probably already be bubbles. The 156 is year 98, takes over the complete alpha or how looks out (check booklet is maintained). have found nothing suitable in the search. already thanks in advance. mfg mathias

GTA- first experiences
For the information for all those who are interested in a GTA: I have now covered about 300 km in the GTA. On the first day I tried out what is going on. Since then I have been normally in the work. Yes, rather economical, mostly 110, sometimes one in the 3rd gear quickly overtaken, no speed orgies. And I am completely thrilled: BC says 9,3 liters. The GTA consumes (until now) with the same driving mode as with the 2.5 no more asl the 2.5!!!! Am really surprised! And some here too!? The seats find I am sorry, I know I should have written that in the already existing article.

Alfa 147 – 2.0 TS – Advice 🙂
Moin.. have found the Alfa 147 2.0 TS by caseK L I C K me would be interested in your opinion. I’m inexperienced with Alfa. 1. I heard the 2.0 should be a good engine, nice sound, long speed band, good power development. What about the consumption? Super? Super Plus? 2. BJ 06/01 .. do these models have many childhood diseases or any serious defects? What should you pay special attention to? 3. What do you mean about the price and the equipment? Thank you for your answers!

test drive 159 2,2
Hello, wanted to briefly describe my intruder from the test drive in 159 2.2: Visual is the car, which stands for us on the yard a dream. Black with 18 inch wheels and black leather. Door set up and set in. Also inside: everything very appealing. What I immediately noticed a little negative is that the middle armrest is not well placed. The arm is not well laid up and the position to the gear lever is not optimal. I am used to from my BMW other. So, sneak sel plugged in and off ! Pleasant: very quiet engine! 1, gear, second gear… but what is that? It clatters quite loudly when switching when the clutch is working ! There is somewhere hellishly too much game in it. Apart from that, the gears can be switched a bit tough. OK, the car is new, but after a look at the KM indicator this attested to me that the car had already 7000km down by now. So he should have gone in ! Also when I drove the car really warm I don’t know anything like that from our 147ers that we had so far. Everything went soft and quiet. The engine, on the other hand, is fun. Powerful and quiet. After 2 hours of driving we left the car again with the last one in a year to start a new attempt with the 159. In the hope that until then the clutch or the gearbox was subjected to a modification.

Alfa 159 Sportwagon / BMW 3 Series Touring
Hello, I’m still looking for information on the comparison between Alfa 159 Sportwagon and the BMW 3er Touring (the old model E46). Who knows both vehicles? How about the space? What are the engines to be evaluated, especially the 2.4 JTDM (200hp) against the 330d (204hp)? Chassis, equipment, price, consumption, and and … My reason for these questions? I’m still driving the BMW 330d touring and need a new service car in the autumn. The new BMW ́s are certainly qualitatively visible. r good, but I don’t like it anymore and have become unimaginably expensive. Under 50,000,– Euro there is little going on. I stumbled over the Alfa when I was looking for an alternative. Looks great, performance fits, price fits, quality seems to have become better. Now I’m looking for information as far as possible from the first hand. Maybe someone has dared the same or similar change.
