Hello together, I’m new here and would like to get up to the Alfa family… :-)) I have to buy an Alfa 147 Built 2004, 30tKm, Dinstinactive from the dealer. Price 13800,- My question to you would be, what experiences you have had with your Alfa and if you can recommend this vehicle to me. Experiences with Alfa 156 Sportwagon???
Hi together! I would like to have a new Alfa 156 sports car 2.4 JTD 20V M-Jet order. I drive approx. 20000 km a year and need a reliable car and a little more space soon!:-) Since I am actually more busy with Audi, I would like to ask you the following questions: Does anyone have experience with this engine??? Are there general weak points at 156??? How prone to repair is the 156??? (the “golden car” from Auto-Bild) How recommended is a Di asel from Alfa??? Or would you rather buy a petrol truck??? Thank you for your tips and comments! You would contribute something to the purchase advice! Greetings, Chris

Idle with 156 2.0 TS
Hello to all alfisti! I came up with it anew, and read your passionate reports with pleasure. So, I have been having a problem with my baby for some time now. If I drive towards a traffic light, or when driving the clutch, the revolutions fall into the red area – so 500u/m, then it goes down to 1200-1500 to get it again at 900 u/m. I have already read many other posts here – but nothing happened so – therefore I post hi r new. He does it with cold as well as warm engine. It’s a 156 2.0 TS bj.99. Has anyone had this problem before – which solution? Was it more often with Alfa – reading as usual the memory off – no errors. And the typical demonstration effect – if you are in the factory saddle – the error is gone – well. I hope I can help specis further! Already before – mille grazie! Ciao

why is the 156 1.6 bad spoken
Again and again I read comments like: he has no pull, doesn’t pull, too weak on the chest, may be,but think who buys a 1.6 ér certainly doesn’t pay attention to it. so I bought the 156 1.6,because 1. horny looks 2. back no door handles has 3. cheap in controls 4. less consumed than the stronger engines 5. compared to other car brands with 1.6 engines, still stronger is.(often twice as much Ps) on the road show many respect, where should they come from than a uch know , that he is only a 1.6 ́er . besides also no ampel race need anymore , only the oilmultis are happy about it . I find that the 1.6 ́ is a useful model , beautiful sports look , for less money

Alfa 155 bought… a few part questions 😉
Moin, recently looked at an Alfa 155 1.8 TS and yesterday gave my commitment to purchase. It is a ́94er with 105tkm in very good condition with ABS, climate, servo, ZV with FB, partialder, Alu ́s, sports suspension and rear muffler, el. window lifters, etc. The car was (the last 40tkm) not Alfa-workshop but at least gapless by ATU. However, the owner could not provide information about the timing belt change, but he said that the camshaft was due to lack of Hä I didn’t find the typical replacement sticker in the engine compartment. Well, I don’t want to take a risk and change it… Do I have a few questions about the Alfa spare parts: 1.I want to make new spark plugs, must it be the expensive ones of NGK or are there also cheaper ones of Bosch, Champion or Beru? Don’t get me wrong, will nic 2. Which engine oil would you recommend? With fully synthetic 10w40 I can’t do anything wrong, can I? How much does the oil fill amount? 3. Timing belts… couldn’t find a repair instruction ála Etzold, the only thing I can see is the Alfa workshop cd for the 156. Are the motors the same with respect to the timing belt change, or can I do something with the CD? Edit: Does the timing belt have a specific meaning? Am with the 8V and 16V Geschich I read that the 8Vs should have a steering chain (?) Get the car at the beginning of next month, will take some pictures of it. MfG comborado

Delivery time 147
Hello, what experience do you have with the current delivery times for a 147. Are the 6 weeks that my dealer mentioned in April realistic? Then my 147 would theoretically have to stand on his farm in 14 days.

159: Alfatex versus leather
My 159-er is equipped with Alfatex black, although I would have preferred leather. But with a used one has not the choice … After several kilometers on a curvy track I made out an advantage of the Alfatex not to be underestimated: where I slipped on the side side with the leathered demonstration car on the chair and had to adjust again and again, I stay with Alfatex nicely in the place. nd motorway exits with a connected roundabout, which I am allowed to drive daily, are so typical and mean test tracks: with leather I just sat a little bit slightly shifted sideways. Somehow I find Alfatex not so cool anymore. What are your experiences? (Opinions are OK, but it’s about real experiences!) Nicolas More threads:159 JTD bought – joy

Costs for timing belt changes?
Good evening, a current thread here e.g. topic “Zahmriemen ripped” or something similar, reminds me of my due Werstatt visit. My car is almost 5 years old and has run 61000km. I wanted to have the timing belt changed, is also recommended in this forum at the same time to exchange phase converters, reversing and tensioning rollers and – did I forget something? – I would like to make an idea of the workshop costs from your answers (mean value) before I start the workshop. Thank you very much! saluti!

Knocked over the ear….
In Dec 04 I bought a 156 selespeed EZ 10.99 with 89 Tkm from an Alfa dealer! I gave the seller the condition, new spark plugs, new oil and a new timing belt. Spark plugs and oil should be made but the timing belt is already new! In the last year it turned out that the spark plugs were not renewed. Then the Alfa workshop brought up at its expense! Now it has turned out that the timing belt has been running for 98 Tkm and 6 years, wurd The workshop master has now said the Alfa says 5 years or 100 Tkm and out with it. Not that they hit me with the whole change, they bought me a then 5 year old with old timing belt. Ask now: can I reach the workshop? A buddy was present at the sales meeting ….
