Have a Spider built in 1991 in front of me. Would I be pleased to have an exchange of experience about possible flaws and problems of this model.(Is it even recommended to have a Spider about 16 years old from experience????) Thank you Diveman

I drive an Alfa Brera 2.4JDTM enthusiastically, if it doesn’t last for this pronounced start-up weakness (which sucks totally). On the Alfa Romeo page they write that they have solved this problem by giving the Brera 10hp more and the full torque is now already 1500 turns and not like me only in 2000. Does anyone know if you can get a tuning in the Alfa workshop??

Hiho, thanks to the quick help because of the insurance questions, I have taken the Alfa 156 resp. 156 sportswagon into the short choice! Which motorization should you choose?? The very highest thing, which will be maintenance in the beginning, is the 2.0 liter machine!! As said, the highest!!! possibly enough already the 1.6er?? Or should you rather grab the 1.8er?? The GTA and diesel fall out anyway!! Diesel is too expensive and I can’t keep a GTA at all!!! Maybe sometime!!!

Hello everyone! I had to get rid of it, but I will never buy an alfa again. Had a 2.4 jtd and the thing was already broken at (dready) delivery. The following defects: 2x turbochargers damage 2x front disk broken (in winter after long BAB ride) 1x tank leaks 1x fuel meter broken 99xairbag light 3x wheel bearing broken and, and, and, because of the defective tank, the whole rear seat was replaced by the way. we forgot to close the screws of the valve cover, before a long 1000km drive!!!!!!), we let away the familiar processing problems here… Had bought the car and sold after 2 years, with high value loss, and the guarantee (additional guarantee is thanks) put about 14000DM in the car!!!! Was so about 20 times at the dealer for repair. I forgot a lot (it’s better so!) what was still about the car, only I know that I have something like this e will do it again!!!! CIAO That had to be easy!!!
