  • alfa 159 – and my colleague

Today, my new 159-er drove for the first time to work, car parked in the underground garage and off to the office. A short time later, colleague comes. HE: Do you have a new car or is yours for repair? I: Is my new one, picked it up last week. He: Is this the new Alfa Romeo? I: Yes, this is the new 159-er, the successor of the 156-er. He: I saw the new Alfa by accident on the Internet the other day and I liked it there already, now, however, after I had your I’ve seen it in the garage below, I’m very excited. You don’t see any driving here in the area yet. I: Yes, one of the first ones here in the county seems to be. He: Man, the car looks good, that’s amazing. And the front with the three single headlights, that’s absolute top. I: Yes, the Italians have always built beautiful cars, the Alfa 156 (which I drove before), had a beautiful design, but with this model they still have He: I also looked inside, the fittings, the instruments, the aluminium inserts, of which BMW can really cut off a disc. I also find the outer color great (it is titanium-grey-metallic). I then invited my colleague to a Spriztrour in the next few days. He drove a BMW 316i Compact until recently and now a Honda Civic. Greetings Benny

  • The totally affable car dealership!!!

Hello together I have a question. My mom drives nen Alfa 147 2.0 So far so good. In December 2002 bought with winter tires from the car house. Now needs that car of course tuv in December 2005. So let winter tires on it and tuv make at the car house. Think. Tüv examiner says, matures are not approved for the car and therefore no tuv. Note that the winter tires sold that car house (Fiat,Alfa Romeo,Lancia dealer) of my mama(Kumho with steel rim 185/15 Z Oll). Now, of course, she should buy a completely new set of winter tyres, says the car house. Suggestion of those Kumho 195/15 inches. As far as I know, you don’t even have to register steel rims, do you???? What are you driving for mature???? Does anyone drive 185/15 inches??? Honestly, I find the whole action quite outrageous, since autohaus supposedly only noticed after 3 years that they have the wrong matures, or what. Thanks for your feedback`s. MfG Mr. Burnout

Despite some difficulties (not always unproblematic since I had a few But now my question about the new one: Are the new jtd diesel engines subject to any driving requirements? My friendly dealer says no, but it used to be that it was called, for example, at every motorway exit down from the gas etc. or not beyond a certain speed. It would be nice if someone could tell me his opinion or experience.

  • What do I have to pay attention to when buying an Alfa?

Hello, I want to buy another car in the spring. It should become a used Alfa 147. What are the typical files I should look at/test? Where does the car have its flaws? I like an Alfa like this one here:http://www.mobile.de/SIDLXH9clro.Tgc8Cl80C4Q9g-t-vaNexlCsAsCsK%F3P%F3R~BmSB11Iindex_cgiJ11355074797A1Iindex_cgiD1100CCarW-t-vctpLt~BmPA1A1B20A6%81_-t-vCaMiMkQuSeSnUnVbZRZi_X_x_ycopo~BSRA6D1100A7C900AGCPKWA1A1A1HinPublicB50E8836 4A2A0A0A0ADC110/cgi-bin/da.pl?sr_qual=G&top=2&bereich=pkw&id=1111111179364732& Can you tell me what this car uses so typical of gasoline, perhaps also with respect to the models with a smaller engine? I hope you can help me. Greetings Freehawk

  • Become increasingly disappointed by the quality Alfas

Got the car for 3 months now, after a few days the cooler broke, but that was still ok I thought, then the cover of the safety box could not be closed anymore, then quite often the switch button just sprung off from the spring but what really bugs me,but that’s only since it is cold outside and I have to turn on the heating,it rattles like sow out of the armature board, where exactly I don’t know, but I mean pretty far right and left to the door window,I I have read somewhere here that probably the first models had been repaired but at that time on kulanz. knows maybe what that can be or what the removal would cost? oh and what else, I find it such a UNJOY of alfa what they want for a replacement key with FB.140€!! mine falls totally apart and I can hardly use the FB anymore, say I have a WFS and an alarm system can only use si from time to time. re alternative? Ahja, and all this is the 156 bj 98

  • Missing power 2.0 JTS engine

Hello Alfistis, drive an Alfa GT with 2.0 JTS engine mileage 5000km. Wanted to know what the engine brings and drove to the performance test bench of the Bosch company the whole twice. The surprise was corresponding. 105 and 107 kW were measured once. But that is not enough. The power curve does not run linearly but constantly regulates. At the engine all basic settings were checked. Without success. At the technology center of Alfa in Heilbronn it was then called the Mot I have now opened another Alfisti. with the same engine that drove with his vehicle to the test bench. Running power over 15,000km. Result – same performance values and up and down regulating power curve. After a further request by the authorized dealer at Alfa in Heilbronn at the technology center, a technician informed that this would allow the rolling software to operate here. Rarely so laughed. For how bl I can only say, up to the test, this one smells like rotten eggs. Does Alfa have a spawn here in the basement???

  • Is it possible to extend the recapitalisation?

hello, I wanted to check if anyone here has removed his back bench from an alfa 156. would interest me how much weight I save and if the body is without problems. behind the back bench is still a metal scaffold that delimits the case room. can you also remove this? mfg markus

  • Alfa 156 2.5 V6 vs. BMW 325i V6

Hello guys, at the moment I am faced with a difficult decision: which new (used) car should it be? After my Golf GT from 1995 is finally dead and only a new KAT could make it float again (cost point approx. EUR 800,– with a residual value of EUR 1,500,– is not worth it), I look around for a new one. Important here are the following criteria: Price up to max. 14,000,– Year 2001 (or j3nger) max. 80.000 KM ran possibly In the last few days I have seen the 156er 2.5 V6 / sports car or the BMW 325i V6. Unfortunately I have heard again and again that Alfa is known for its quirks. Apart from the fact that the resulting repairs are also quite expensive… However, in my opinion no other car can keep up in the price range. What would you advise me? Is Alfa hõufiger with Pr oblemchen turn as BMW? Thank you for your help!

  • Hail damage: Request for help

Hello! my Alfa 156 got hail damage in 2005. Now it’s time for the insurance to pay me the raparature or refund the damage amount(clear without VAT) damage height is about 250€ The following parts are damaged in the car: bonnet(about 15-20 dents) Both fenders front (5 dents) roof (about 15-20 dents) rear (about 10 dents) Now the question for me is, how should I best proceed which raparatur is better for car, even if I sell it later we rde: 1. bulge, spin, repaint 2. only bulge from the dent Doctor (if this is the right solution, can you recommend me a dent Doctor in the Cottbus area?) it is generally considered as an advantage or disadvantage that the car or damaged parts are repainted? Would it be a variant if I had the amount of damage reimbursed from the insurance and then I repair the car a little cheaper than the amount of damage. I could save the rest? e Questions: – are the damaged parts completely repainted or only partially (in dents)? – can you see the newly painted parts? – does it matter for the later insurance, whether I release the repair or take the damage amount from the insurance? Thank you for your answers! Greeting Alex

  • Extension of air mass meters (with pipe)

Hello friends, after my Alfa has been mucking since Saturday, (which suggests from experience here in the forum and in others on a defective LMM) I ordered a new one which arrived today. My question: How do I build this stupid thing including tube? Do I have to snap through the two bells that apparently hold the tube and then replace them against cheap hose clamps, or pull the complete hose down to throttle valve housing immediately? I am lay, but I don’t have a tube. The most touching and soooo difficult thing is not that it justifies €50.- in the workshop. #So, thank you for tips…..
