Servus, have a question. I’m just ahead of the mechanical engineer and I want to build up something, because I know myself well with cars and in general BMW I’m about to buy an E60 545i (how many of them were built overhapsd as V8??) and I want to buy a used engine to have parts available. How do you see this with the increase in value of V8 suckers esp E60? I might also want to get into the engine bussnes so buy, disassemble and sell parts profitably. Mfg Marcel

Hello all, I have a N47 engine, Xdrive, 175,000 km on the clock. After the holidays I set myself the drive shaft and the bearing bulge to button me in front. Has someone ever done that or a short instruction to do so? The bearing bulge is oily with me and after about 4 weeks the oil drips on the ground, about 5 cm stain. There the camp and O ring should be new. The car makes roaring noises up to 4 gears which go away when you step the clutch. Up to 60 km/h are also wind noises to hear, from 60 km/h they are gone, also the dröhn noises. Otherwise the car drives unobtrusively. The distribution gearbox has received new oil, unfortunately without improvement. When changing wheels from 18 inches to 17 inches is the drowning a little less. Bin Ratlos and hope that the drowning comes from the bearing bulge and drive bulge. Greetings

Hi together I bought a F33 from a used car dealer in April of this year. After collection I found out that the loudspeakers (it was advertised with HK sound system and was a main reason for me to make a decision) did not work in the doors. Only the speaker behind the display worked. In addition, there were other problems like e.g. water in the rear lights. I contacted the dealer directly via WhatsApp and had an appointment for improvement in the following month. However, on the appointment he only looked at the car. Two months later it came to a proper date where the damage should be fixed. The car was over 2 weeks in the workshop and back I got it without repaired speakers and the rear lights were allegedly exchanged. After a few days however, the problem with water in the rear lights appeared again. So I wrote again and called the dealer blah blah… He has allegedly had so little time and gave away the time of the dealer always second correct appointment (purchase month of April) was JETZT last week Tuesday. Since then the car is there again and it seems as if there is nothing wrong to say anything about what happened. The dealer has already called back again.

Hi, I bought DEA Viscobil 0W-40 oil because I could buy DEA cheaply. Have a 328i, E46, year 06/98. On the oil itself are the standards API SJ/CF, ACEA A3/B3, but could not find anything from BMW longlife!? Can I use the oil as normal longlife oil or not?

Hello together, I drive an X3, built in 2016, and have been having problems with the service offered for a year. Unfortunately, the vehicle apps cannot be unlocked. Although I booked and paid for the corresponding package, the apps do not appear in the menu. For example, weather, news and Alexa are affected. Customer support pushes the problem to the 3G shutdown, which is of course nonsense, because this shutdown took place several years ago and not only for a year. What about you? Does the package still work for you? (series until 2016/17 )

Good afternoon, I recently bought an e39 528i from the BJ 1997 with the BMW Business CD RDS Radio (see photo) Now I had read that it is possible to upgrade Bluetooth via the CD player. Unfortunately I did not find any manual or Bluetooth component for exactly this radio. Could someone possibly tell me which component I need and in the best case also how I can connect this. Hello together, In February 2024 the Valvetronic system was repaired in my N55. After a week I had to go to the workshop again due to misignition, and I got the car fixed in mid-April with everything. The invoice date is February. Today my Valvetronic system does not work again (the same symptoms and error codes as 2024, only 3000 km driven!). Should the workshop repair the Valvetronic system again without calculating anything, since it is still within the warranty period?

Hello, has someone here already had experience with the BMW Bank Leasing Upgrade wheels & tires (comfort or premium plus storage if necessary)? In case of comfort there is a set of BMW winter complete wheels including change and force, at Premium additionally tyre change in case of wear (summer 3 mm, winter 4 mm), not in case of damage, at a monthly price, on request also with storage. You have to let the comfort package only lower than 1.6 mm in profile with leasing return new tires. I find my offer also very interesting in price, so I almost ask myself if I have anything to look at. ?? Has anyone here already received an offer and considered and decided or even had practical experiences with it?
