  • Clicking while steering

Hello together! I noticed the following with my Saab 9-3 Aero (BJ. 04). If I turn left or right, a “click” is to be heard when the window is open. According to telephone contact with my Saab workshop this is normal. But can I hardly believe it. Has anyone already experienced similar things? Greet Alex

  • 9-3 Sportcombi and Dachreling

Hello together After around 6 years of Audi, I decided to switch to Saab in the summer. I ordered a 9-3 Sportcombi Aero, but unfortunately with Dachreling. I regret my decision, because I don’t think the Dachreling fits at all to the good design of the 9-3 Sportcombis. Saab missed to consider the Dachreling as a practical design element (such as the new Audi A6 or A3 Sportsback). Maybe for this reason, too, it is on the homepage of Saab practically no photo of the 9-3 Sportcombis with Dachreling. How do you think about it? I couldn’t cancel the Dachreling due to the advanced production process. To my question whether it can be dismantled afterwards, my Garagist has not answered so far. Do you know if this is possible?

  • Car take-over

Hello @all, Yesterday afternoon I was finally able to pick up my new 9-3 SportCombi from my new friendly and competent dealer. What should I say, I’m just thrilled. What I noticed after the first kilometers. – The Navi-System MJ 2006 functions perfectly. Ok, the target entry is still cumbersome and slow, but with it I can live as long as the goal guidance works. – AVR ??? Is this usable? Has a problem with Swiss trying Ho – The consumption of mixed traffic according to the on-board computer has stabilized to 11.0 liters (after 100 km). – What is not quite clear to me, according to the manual there are 2.8T Aero-models with different large brake discs, with which 16″ rims for the winter tyres can be mounted. Just as I interpreted the from the manual, disc diameter 290mm or 300mm. What size do I have now on my Aero ? – The processing quality is top, no knarzen o Let’s see if this will still be the case at 50000 km. As a plant I still have a “grotto bad” photo. MfG JürgS

  • Recall wg. brake failure

Uuuuuuhhpss, have just received the second recall campaign for my 2006/ Saab convertible: I would like to visit my workshop, as there may be a safety-relevant deficiency, which can also lead to total failure of the brake…Wow The underpressure tube of the brake power amplifier must be replaced. The search is made immediately in the Wrkstatt and will take about 30 minutes. My workshop gave me an appointment at the end of next week, so hectic m Oh yes: 9-3 Vector Cabrio 1,8t, Hirsch, EZ 03/2006. Greetings, Thomas

  • Problems with particle filters

Hello, I have been driving a Saab 93 Sport Kombi 1.9TiD (Vevtor) since November 2005. I am really very satisfied, had previously Volvo V70. However, right at the beginning a problem occurred which could not even fix my contract workshop and I would like to describe briefly here, in the hope that someone has observed/experienced this and can give me a hint. Although the particle filter does not regenerate properly, or only insufficiently, if you drive shorter distances often, w As for me, this is often the case. So the statement of the workshop. As soon as the regeneration of the filter drops below 30%, the engine switches to a “schoning program”, which completely shuts off the engine. It no longer has any power and does not even come over 90km/h. So far I always had to take the way to the workshop, which shrugged with the software picked up the engine lock again and then ran the engine for 10 minutes with 4000 revolutions in order to carry out the regeneration. I have to do 4 times now. According to my observations, the Phenomen occurs especially when I drive to the Becker, have breakfast at home, and then use the car again after a long time, after it is completely cold again. Just at this moment, the engine lock turns on, and the nice “engine damage” lamp lights up. As I said, the workshop does not know any advice. I don’t want to take this condition any longer and therefore am on the search e after the cause. Opel has no problems with its filters, as far as I could find out. Can someone help me further? Or do you have a tip? Thank you in advance for any constructive answer LG, Vurt

  • 13 speakers in Infotainment 300 – where?

Hello dear Saab – municipality! I call for about 1 month a 93 Vector in Jetblack my own and am actually very satisfied with it. I wanted to see how it looks with the 13 loudspeakers, which should be installed at the Infotainment 300 plus, but could not discover by far 13! 2 subwoofers should be there, where are they mounted? Finally: I plugged my ipod times over a jack plug into the Aux input in the center console; quality was rather nice Laughs and the sound is very quiet – does any of you have experiences? (Will the result be better if I use Icelink Aux?) LG from Vienna Fabrice

  • Aero sports steering wheel

Hello together, I like the current sports steering wheel of the 93 Aero. Compared to the one from the MY05 (BJ 04/2005) it seems to be a little smaller, a little softer, because thicker and is better in the hand. Does anyone have any idea whether this version can be exchanged later or purchased as a spare part? With what costs can one calculate? Thank you BoHoHe

  • Which windshield wipers for the 9-3 Sportlimo

Hello, wanted to change the wipers on my Saab 9-3 Aero for the first time. So I went to the specialist shop and checked in the Bosch catalogue where the 715/715s wipers are planned for the 9-3 from year 02.98. When I wanted to assemble the new wipers at home I noticed, however, that the new wiper blades are clearly shorter than the old ones. The old wiper blades are also from Bosch and have been changed before by the factory. Do you have any idea what kind of wipers these are? What kind of wipers did you mount? • New interior 9-3 MY2007

Hello, with the new interior of the Saab 9-3 for the model year 2007. Too bad that the on-board computer “Customize” and the central display no longer sits above the tap carrier. The Saab moves closer and closer to the BLS, a pity…..because the 175 HP engine is also only reserved for the Caddy. And the chrome borders also don’t look very high quality…. What do you say about it……..???????

  • He’s here!

Yesterday we were finally able to pick up our 9-3 Aero Cabrio from our dealer. The delivery time was 10 weeks, the car arrived on time for the good weather Here’s a short overview: Saab 9-3 Aero Cabriolet Espressoblack-metallic Interior and sandy business package Comfort package 6-speed transmission Comfort control electric front seats seat heating ashtray (we are non-smokers, but with asher looks just better!) Well, what to say, We are completely thrilled. The pickup was completely easy. Everything works wonderful. In particular, I have the impression that our car is qualitatively better in the interior (materials) than the cabrio of the test drive (ok, could also be the pink glasses). The 6-speed transmission works very well (at least at temperatures above 8 degrees) and is not a bit tacky. Seems to me that Saab actually revised the transmission. AVR also works. many tips here in the forum! Best regards Celeste
