  • Automatic transmission damage – how many affected here?

    Hello dear Saab municipality, as a driver of the (cheap) sister model of the Saab 9-3, the Opel Vectra C, I am very concerned about the obviously increasing damage to the installed 5-stage automatic transmission. In the meantime 14 cases are known in the Vectra Forum, of which 10 cases can also be detected by the published chassis number. I would now be interested whether such problems have occurred here, and if so to what extent. If you drive an AT and not sic Since how the damage image can be recognized, I would also like to link our problem descriptions.   • Updae DVD for navigation system

    Hello, Drive my Aero for almost 10 months and have directly filled in the update card, which was with the DVD case of Navtech, and sent away to get regularly the latest updates for the navigation system. But after 10 months I still did not get an update. How about you, has someone ever got a new DVD? Was already on the homepage of Navtech but there is information for all kinds of brands except for Saab ( It happens to me more and more often d ass the navigating system spins when I drive over newly built or changed roads and that is so annoying slowly.   • Software problems?

    So now we drove the salad – just 250 km with my new 1.9 TiD and already with full drive the speed lights set off and the indicators for speed and speed are frozen. 3 min later a heather bremborium in the instruments – all warning lights go on and everything works again. Too bad that the whole thing happened three times in a row. In a parking lot I then pulled the key and then let the system restart – then came the message “Problem with the immobilizer – please go to the workshop”. Do any of you know that?

  • Softer adjustment of the chassis

    Hello guys! Now I’m sure some people will write down … But my standard sports suspension is clearly too hard for me. My question is: Can you install other springs? Or change anything on the side of the chassis? Has anyone already had this done? If so, what about the costs. I know questions about questions but still thank you for your answers. KK

    Hi guys, I was at the Saab dealer yesterday and I drove the 150hp diesel sample – in the linear equipment: oh je, oh je oh je je. I am not one of those earlier-was-everything-better Saab fans and also not an absolute Opel enemy, but what I had in my fingers almost drove tears into my eyes, whereby the engine itself has actually left a very neat impression – but the rest: cheapest plastic, where the eye looks, bad seats *WÜRG* and an optics of the bie Then I tried out an ARC with excellent leather seats and a few extras, but Schmalhans has always shimmered through. I think Saab died with that for me in terms of new cars. Not least because these cars are priced above significantly better cars, such as the Skoda Superb, which made an impression on me as I had it when I sat down for the first time in my 9000 CSE.     Hello … although I am now a driver of my 6th SAAB, currently a 9-3 TTiD, convertible vector with automatic transmission, I have no experience with the HIRSCH chip tuning…. (The vehicle was only converted to a double exhaust system from HIRSCH at the beginning at my dealer. At the moment I think about the increase in performance announced by HIRSCH from 180 to 200 diesel hp and ask me if the increase in performance (chip tuning) are registered with the TÜV or the insurance company erung must be reported ?   • Trend: Black rims also at Saab?

    Has anyone noticed this, or is it just the case with me in the city. Here there are especially many people who drive white or black cars with BLACK FELGEN. Are mostly Audi, BMW and Porsche. But I think it looks good, but maybe only temporarily. Have another extra set of five-spoke AERO rims, maybe I leave the paint and do it on my black MY 08 coming soon. What do the MT users mean?     Have another question to the specialists: I did the Hirsch Step1 for my 2.0T 210PS MJ08. After the installation of a trailer coupling in a Saab service workshop the extra power was suddenly gone again. The switching points of the automatic are shifted upwards and the murderous torque from 2000 rpm away. The executive mechanic probably didn’t know too much about the Tech2 (the specialist was on vacation). Therefore he tried around the AHK for a long time to program n. Among other things, he has had to re-enter the performance data, transmission type, tyre sizes etc. (I was standing next to it). After the finding of the missing performance by me and a corresponding complaint was checked again in Tech2 and according to statements of the workshop the software version is still the corresponding of Hirsch-Performance. Now my question: Is it possible that the software level of Hirsch is displayed, but the actual parameters by the intervention again Because power and torque are definitely gone, the top speed is about 220-225 km/h.

  • Refueling E85 – has anyone ever tried it?
