Hello together, I am unfortunately currently hanging a bit in the engine room of my dear 9-3 Combi BJ 2005. A few days ago the SID registered with the message that the left flasher light was defective, which was also noticeable when the flashing was real. Strangely, the flasher went off again for a few minutes without a message, but at some point the error indicator came again. So a lamp worried and cheerful thought that the change could not be so difficult. Until the release of the left headlight is all good, I would also be able to reach the two larger bulbs well, the rubber caps would both be easily removable. Where it is then hooked the arrival to the flashing light, there I simply find no bayonet closure (as according to the manual must be available), which I just have to turn to come to the flashing light and to exchange times. I discover there further on side only a cable feed, which goes to a plug – but also if I dis I don’t feel a rotatable lock for the “blinker room”. I put everything back in the first attempt after frustrating popping and went on for the first time. Since yesterday evening, about 12 hours after that, I now get a non-functioning xenon light on the same side and even the position light is not on. Speak now in the left headlight no more light at all… the latter makes for me rather de n impression, as if I had worked too dusily while re-plugging the cable, I evaluate that again tomorrow, but where is my desperately sought-after access for the flashing light? Someone a hot tip? Or am I missing something completely different? Thanks for all the trouble!

9-3 Sportwagon 1.8T sold….
I decided to sell my 9-3 sports car after four years of possession. I was very satisfied with the car, especially the quiet running was always pleasant. And for an intermediate sprint the power was sufficient. The main reason for the sale was the fear that the spare parts availability could become problematic if the repairs started at some point. I have already had experience (also in this forum to read) Well, I am then somewhere ann at the Mercedes Forum. Have fun with your SAABs.

Engine no more power, first I came after a truck, became less and less, until off.
Hello, I have a 1.9TiD with 150hp Built. 2004 Yesterday I was on the highway speedily. Then I realized that the power went back. At first I went 80km/h, no matter if much or little gas. The gearbox shuts down the gears (automatics) but does not help anything. Then after I left the highway with 30km/h, smoke from the engine compartment and everywhere. Engine went off. Quite a lot of oil was distributed in the engine compartment. Before I had opened the oil cover and an unusual overpressure In German, I was speckled with oil. Now the car with the ADAC is on the way home. One has a tip. The power loss up to only a few km/h possible has already occurred several times, according to my wife. (I unfortunately ignored). In the hope of a favorable rescue of the beautiful car, DKCA15 greets.

Belt strap driver’s left side defective, spare parts?
Hello, with my Saab 9-3,110kw, 1.9 TiD, Bauj. 2004 the front left belt strapper / belt is defective. The friendly dealer wants only for the spare part 500 Euro + VAT. This includes the complete belt with belt strapper and shot cartridge without belt lock. The part number is 12756368. At Neo Brothers a belt strapper is offered for only 108 pounds. There however the part number is 12760045. Which spare part do I need now? I am urgently dependent on the part especially since it is of course safety relevant and I am also still TÜV overdue. Can someone let the light shine its knowledge about me? Thank you in advance

Problems with 9.3 – 2.2 TID + deer
Hello together, according to the positive statements I heard here in the forum about the braining of the 2.2 TID, I also decided to take the money in my hand. After I received my car (at 28 Tkm) then freshly brainwashed then came the total disillusionment. At first I found that between 1700 and about 2200 revolutions, so then when the deer really bit, the car vibrated as if you were driving over a Kopfsteinplasterstrasse. In other words, the clutch slipped. Then my car was back in the workshop the next day. At first the clutch was changed but unfortunately the problem of vibration was still present. After a week of workshop with further tests and tests on the search for the cause, I was informed today that the problem was caused by the Hirsch-Tuning would come. The only solution to eliminate the vibrations is the withdrawal of the performance increase. If so, then all brainned 2.2 TIDs would have to have this vibration. Is that really so ??????? If yes – how can a manufacturer release such a thing for sale ????? What brings me a performance increase if I only get it at the expense of terrible vibrations and if I have to drive with such an engine to exclude the vibrations as if I had to drive the Leistu ngsauferung would not have had ????? Does any of you have similar experiences ???? It greets the currently rather frustrated paddle

Knister, knarz, squeak!
Dear Saabistos and Saabistinen, I have my 93’s for 14 months now and am very satisfied. Great car. Only… now the knarzerei starts. Everywhere on uneven roads, the vehicle generates an incredible variety of sounds: from chirping, over snorting to crackling and polting… not to locate where… but always constantly, sometimes here and there. I know that I am not the only one, but it can’t be that there are no remedies available to resourceful people. Temperature fluctuations accumulate this adverse noise scenario. I am already behind it with silicone spray… brings little. I thought to pamp all joints with fat = giant sourness! isn’t there any trick? The latest is a knatter of the front disc vents; really great… it rumbles like in a hungry stomach. And when you press on it, pinches it. Does anyone know how to remove the things? So, the cap is at the ointment and lubricating… but unfortunately comes up with this adverse noise scenario. not from the spot. Animating information is required. Lubrication routes

Curve left: click; curve right: click!
Now I drove 2800 kilometers to Holland, North Germany and back home, and the dear saaBeenchen starts to click. Especially with the steering. Listenable only in open mode, but extremely annoying. “Click” at every turn, even when parking, 20,000 KM and me creepy. Or drive in front and back.. “klinck”. Is it nice… but are these bike camps? Has anyone experienced such a phenomenon? Gruss vom Mütz

Change of the control chain at km 103,345 km
So, after a long consideration, I decided instead of risking a motor damage to change the control chain. Since the grinding noises have increased a bit. From the Saab workshop and after 4 days repair (remove engine, change chain set and install engine) everything again super quiet. The reason here was that the balancing chain had been extended and the spanner had fully extended. Then the from GM gave a great quality installed. Because with almost 104,000 km such an extension, is Has anyone here made this experience in this km of performance? Car is a 93 II, Built 2006, 1.8 T, 196 HP, combined body.

ABS ASR ESP error messages in the SID
Hello all, I have a Saab 9-3 Vector 2.0 and for some time now loud error messages in the SID After the start the SID shows me that my ABS, ESP and ASR would be defective as well then the steering wheel lock works and the cruise control does not work. At first it only sporadically because I pushed it to the cold in January when it then got a little warmer again the error messages did not come for a short time. Has anyone ever had such experiences and knows what it is about could be? My interior fan was also out of style in winter. I started with a little cleaning and WD 40 again. I already say thank you
